Owner Pose
Johnny Storm Sometime after dinner and time with fans, when they returned to the plaza, Johnny had spent some quality time with Kenesha - but now that it's later in the evening, he's awake and alert. And needing something to draw his focus from his thoughts. He had figured if he quietly left the room and went for a walk, he'd not disturb her while she rested.

A quick trip to the lower floors of the Plaza and Johnny will be found in the garage. There's some classic rock going on the radio, some jams from the late 80s and early 90s.

And his legs are sticking out from underneath a '69 Camaro, his lips pushed together in thought as he works on the vehicle, the loud ratcheting of a wrench as he's working on changing the oil in the old car, a cart nearby set with the supplies once he gets the oil pan undone.

Distraction. It's a good distraction and one he sorely needed.
Kenesha One thing that Johnny's going to learn about Kenesha, she's generally only resting because he is. Her physiology means not needing sleep every day, or even every other day. More like, once a week. So when he leaves the bed, she's aware. She doesn't follow immediately, trying to give him some time to himself.

When he doesn't return after awhile, however, she leaves the bed, pulling on one of his t-shirts and her boots (never walk around barefoot, even if your skin is mostly impermeable!). She'll move through the tower to find him, eventually drawn by the sound of music and wrenches coming from the garage.

Approaching quietly so she doesn't disturb him, Kenesha will lean on the hood of a different car, watching him for a few moments with a smile. "You know, it never fails.. man has access to some of the fastest vehicles around.. tinkering with a classic. Is it an emotional attachment?"
Johnny Storm When she makes her presence known, Johnny chuckles from beneath the car. "This was my dad's car." he points out, "So, yeah, I suppose it's an emotional attachment." Pushing himself out from beneath the car on the roller board he was lying upon, he looks up at his lover with a smile.

"Actually... about seventy-five percent of the cars down here are my personal collection." he admits, gesturing to the various sports and vintage cards as he sits up on the board. "It's a hobby, plush, they're fun to drive." With that explanation, he sets the oil pan to the side. "You looked so nice resting there, I didn't want to disturb you." he admits.

"So, yeah." He smirks. "I think I felt my first pang of possessiveness tonight." he reaches over for a bottle of water he'd been drinking from. "And I'm trying to figure out what that means. Was it just because I knew that at least two of those women wanted to know you far more intimately, or because I've gotten feelings that deep for you."
Kenesha He'll get a *great* view of her legs, all the way up to the hem of the borrowed shirt, the way the soft cotton molds to her breasts and belly, and up to the smile that really only comes out when it's just them. She glances at the car, then back to him with a nod, "Sentimental, then. Nothing wrong with that."

Kenesha will look around the garage with a small chuckle, "Remind me to show you my collection sometime. I've got some great really classic vehicles." Chuckling softly, she nods, "And they are great fun to drive." Pushing off the car she'd been leaning against, she moves towards him, crouching down so she can kiss him softly, "I only rested because you were. I don't need the sleep, but you do. Nightmares?"

His mention of possessiveness has her smiling, "I felt it. The way your grip tightened and you stayed so close until they'd left." She stays in the crouch, arms on knees, smiling at him, "I felt similar pangs when you went to go spend some time with your fans. Not because I thought you would leave me there or anything.. it was instinctive, a kneejerk reaction. I wanted to go over there and put my arms around you and make it perfectly clear that you were taken." Kenesha chuckles softly, "I don't expect that to go away, but I think as long as we can trust that we're with each other, it will be manageable."
Johnny Storm Johnny is more than happy to follow the legs all the way up, before she's crouching to join him and he chuckles. "I am a sap when it comes to sentimentality." he admits with a snort of amusement. "I even bought mine and Sue's childhood home, it's an ongoing project. And I wouldn't mind staying at your place at least once." he teases, "Even if it is to check out the cars." Again, flirting with her is natural at this point. "Though you're the most fun thing to drive there is~"

He returns her kiss, he sighs. "The last couple of nights have been great because I've been so exhausted that I haven't had a chance to dream. But yeah. I... I have things I take for it. Praozin, trazadone. I'm just working on how to deal with it. You make me feel safer, though."

"Yeah... heh, sorry about that. Kate is pretty well known for her flirting. Almost as bad as I am. Not that I'm going to stop you from making friends with her." And there's a pause and he considers her words. "Then we have a problem. Because it seems like we're both really into this. So... wanna make it official?" he asks her, his eyes lifting up to look into hers. "Wanna go steady?" It's a cheesy line, and she probably has a much better word for it, but. "I trust you. But I want the world to know we're together."
Kenesha "Now that sounds like fun... fixing up the family homestead. How far along are you with it?" Kenesha laughs lightly and gives a nod, "We could definitely do that. Which estate do you want to visit? I suppose the one in New York to start. We can pop around to some of the others later. Unless you want to get away from the winter weather. Then maybe New Zealand, or Spain. Greece? Oh, I have a place in Kenya that's amazing.. the off-roading there is fabulous. Just have to make sure you don't wander into a preserve." She tugs him in closer for another kiss and wink.

Smiling against his lips, Kenesha murmurs, "Drugs might not be the answer. They're good for physiological issues with sleep. But yours are.. much more than that. It will take time. And effort." Kissing him once more, she smiles, "I'm always willing to listen if you ever want to talk about it."

Shaking her head, she chuckles, "Nothing to be sorry about. Like I said, it's natural to feel possessive towards someone you care about." Kenesha watches him for a long moment, that smile still on her lips. She reaches up, stroking a touch across his cheek. "Are you asking me to be your official girlfriend? Because I'm okay with that. I already know that I want you. If you're sure that you want me, then.. yeah. We should formalize it." Leaning into him, uncaring of the grease, she presses a longer, deeper kiss on him. "Mmmmmm.. yeah, I'm okay with being Johnny Storm's girl."
Johnny Storm As he wraps his arms across her shoulders, he chuckles, returning the kiss again and his smile is brilliant. "You're just going to have to take me on the grand tour~" Johnny comments, amusement dancing in those cold blue eyes, as he leans his forehead against hers.

It's on to more serious topics. "I will. In time, Kenesha. It's a lot to process, and I have a gap in my memory. I... I remember spending two years in the Negative Zone. But the others said it was only two months." He says, finally offering a scope on how long he was there. "And... the last thing I remmeber before awakening there was going nova to try to stop Zod and Annihlius and force them back into the portal. A sigh. "I don't know. Do I really want to know?" he asks her quietly.

And again, she's switching up on him, and he follows along with her dance, able to stay on his mental feet. "And I'm perfectly fine with being your boy, Kenesha Jones." he snickers. "By the way, so obvs on the last name, but that's fine. I dig it." A grin. "So yeah. We're official. And monomgamous. I'm not gonna break your heart, Kenesh..." the rest is lost as she presses her lips to his and he pulls her closer to luxuriate in that longer kiss and the promise of more.
