Owner Pose
Kyle Rayner Kyle Rayner is in the main room. For once it's kind of empty. This isn't a good thing, nor is it a bad thing. So, Kyle just makes himself comfortable. He'll just curl up some place with a book. He's wearing a shirt that says, "Rangers" and text underneath that says, "If it walks, I can track it. If it can't be tracked, I'll find it anyway." There's a symbol of an ornate bow with a circle around it. Simple black with a pair of jeans, he just curls up with a book for a moment. Green eyes just going over the words carefully, cautiously. A lazy afternoon for most, but something potentially precious for those that adorn masks and capes.
Yaretzi Acama Golden Eagle flies in and lands on the roof, as is her usual. On her way down the elevator, she transforms back into her civilian form. So it is that, with a *ding* the elevator down the hall from the main room is heard, shortly followed by Yaretzi walking into the room.

She's never seen Kyle out of his Green Lantern uniform, so she eyes the 'stranger' on the couch, trying to place him, as she heads for the fridge to find herself a drink. Along the way, her backpack comes off her back and ends up sitting on the counter.
Kyle Rayner Kyle hasn't seen eagle out of the costume, save for that one time. So, it's still a shock to him. He gives her a wave. "Heya Yaretzi," his voice comes forward. The Lantern uses no tricks to hide his voice, even if he should. That trick is hard to pull off with a ring. So, he just opts to speak normal for now. Trust that people will still be upset he's not Highball.
Yaretzi Acama Yaretzi, with a can of Dr Pepper in her hand as she closes the fridge, turns to look at the man calling out to her. She recognizes the voice, too. "Lantern?", she asks, as she steps around the counter and heads towards the couch, popping her can of soda open as she walks. "I don't think I've seen you out of your costume, before", she adds, still not sure it's who she thinks it is, but having still been willing to guess at it.
Kyle Rayner "Kyle," he corrects. With Yaretzi, he didn't feel a need to hold up the secret identity. Other heroes? Not so much. The Titans have a free pass. "Maybe when we first met. Or at least no mask," Kyle says. That's a bit ago so he doesn't blame her for forgetting. If anything that's an odd compliment because it means he's doing good on staying hidden. Like he's allowing himself to properly roam in plain sight.

"Kyle Rayner," he flashes a smile. "Nice to meet you without the green and gold between us," he speaks honestly on it. His gaze on her for a moment. "How have you been?"
Yaretzi Acama "Okay, Kyle", Yaretzi says, smiling that she's being freely given that information. "I'm okay. Been busy with school and doing the patrolling I like to do", she replies as she sits down at the end of the couch. "Talked to someone I know, trying to get help with my situation with my T-Com, but no luck getting that sorted out, yet", she adds, before taking a sip of soda.
Kyle Rayner A nod comes from Kyle as he's all ears. His green eyes watching her for a moment. "How have classes treated you?" Kyle knows classes can be busy. However, the classes themselves can treat the students differently. So, he's curious about the individual treatments. And so, he will inquire. "How about the personal life?" he asks.
Yaretzi Acama "Oh, the classes I'm taking ain't nothing special... just trying to get my basics out of the way before all else", Yaretzi says, taking another sip of Dr Pepper before reaching out to set the can down on the end table. "Not much to speak of in my life besides that, I guess. I'm usually either at school, doing homework, patrolling, or at home and resting?", she admits. "I come over to the Tower often as I can, too, 'cause it's kinda fun hanging around here."
Kyle Rayner "Makes sense," Kyle says honestly on the strategy. Everyone tries to get the easy stuff out of the way first. Whether it's for cost, time, or anything else. So, that makes sense.

Green colored eyes watch the young woman. "That's the one thing I hate about heroing. I mean I sleep better, but sometimes it's just hard to keep a life. The burden we carry," Kyle admits softly. His gaze slips away for a moment. Breathing out as he looks about for a moment. "You know, someone would make a killing if they made a vacation spot for heroes somehow," it's an idle comment. Just something inspired from a television show he watched.
Yaretzi Acama "Well, there's heroes who wouldn't be able to afford to go to a place like that... it'd just be for the rich ones", Yaretzi says, her tone making it clear she's NOT one of the 'rich ones'. She leans back into the couch and stretches her arms up over her head. "What've you been up to? Whatcha reading?", she wonders.
Kyle Rayner "Neither am I, but if you make it affordable somehow," Kyle ponders a little bit. Then he waves it away. "Reading for now. I've tried to make some runs to New Kyrpton, but troubles on this planet happened," Kyle curses his luck there. That area is in some dire need. He can't abandon his post either. So, it's a cache 22 for him. "And trying to figure out more about myself. I spent so much time in school, I think I lost myself a little. So, I'm trying to relearn it."
Yaretzi Acama Yaretzi's quiet for a bit, and reaches for her can of soda. "What's 'New Krypton'?", she asks before drinking. Of course, she'll pick -that- out of everything that was said, and it's clear it's an honest enough question from her, that she doesn't know. She's a superhero fangirl, but she's not in the know on all the secrets, obviously.
Kyle Rayner "It's a planet where a lot of Kryptonian problems are happening. It sees a lot of chaos. The kind of chaos that strife and fighting brings," and Kyle hasn't been there ina bit. He expects some improvements, but not a vast different. Green colored eyes look toward her. "It's a big more complicated than that. Superman, Krypton's head of security and others go there a bit to help."
Yaretzi Acama "What's 'Kryptonian'? Is that a new country I haven't heard about, or something like that?", Yaretzi queries. Then she parses something else that Kyle said...

"Superman's their head of security? Why would he need to do that kinda thing?", she questions, eyes wide as she asks. Her can of soda is held in her one hand, still, but seems kinda forgotten at this point.
Kyle Rayner "Kryptonians is the name for Superman's race. New Krypton is a planet that many Kryptonians are fighting over. I'm not sure all the how's and why's, but there's more Kryptonians than originally thought. That's all I know," Kyle admits some degree of ignorance on that one.

"No. It's Superman -and- the head of security. Superwoman. She's a smidge older, wise, would probably be confused for a model. Kryptonians rarely age. I'm starting to believe it's like reverse dog years," that's not true. Or at least it hasn't been disproven. It's still something Kyle believes.
Yaretzi Acama Yaretzi's eyes widen slightly more. "Superman's an alien?!", she loudly questions. She gets to her feet and starts pacing around behind the couch. She's still carrying her can of soda with her, but it's still seemingly forgotten. "What about Supergirl and Superboy? Are they aliens, too?!", she adds. "Wait...! There's a Super *Woman*, too?", she adds, leaning over the back of the couch towards Kyle as she throws the last part at him.
Kyle Rayner "Well, yeah. The Superwoman ordered me around bares the same symbol as Superman. He's there. He clearly knows her. So, it's safe to presume he is. Same goes for everyone else that wears his symbol," he says honestly. "It's not like I asked them all individually. That symbol means something, just like the lantern symbol. Everyone that wears a Lantern symbol is a space cop. Part of a team, even if they look a little different. They're all part of the same team. Same logic. Smart money is on some Kryptonian connection," he says softly just connecting the dots like that.
Yaretzi Acama "Waitaminit... so, you're a >space cop<?", Yaretzi asks, pointing at Kyle. "We've had more than one Green Lantern here on Earth, too. How many space cops *are* there? Is Earth *that* bad?!", she goes on, resuming her pacing around behind the couch. Then, she just stops cold, and stands there for a few moments.

"How many other superheroes are aliens? How many of the *villains* are aliens?!", she eventually wonders in a whisper.
Kyle Rayner "It's less about Earth being that bad, but it's more about this sector is active. Also, they do reassign lanterns to other places. Plus, I've been the only Lantern for a bit. So, don't freak out," Kyle grins as he sees her pacing about for a moment.

"I don't know. I'm not exactly some place that can poll them. More than we know, but not as many as we expect?" Kyle says and shrugs. "I'm sure you've spoken to at least one or two without realizing it," he says knowing some of their teammates are indeed aliens.
