Tony Stark     In something of an unusual circumstance, Tony is in Avenger's Mansion instead of holed up in his workshop in Stark Tower. He's currently on one of the couches manipulating a hologram that's floating in front of him. It looks to be a rather detailed circuit diagram of some sort.

A proper British voice says "Miss Pezzini is arriving at the Mansion sir." Tony replies "Good, ask her to pop in here once she's inside."

Once Sara scans her Avengers ID and steps into the mansion, Jarvis says "Mr. Stark would like to speak with you in the recreation room Miss Pezzini."
Sara Pezzini On a regular basis, amongst the many other things Sara did, she would stop by the Avenger's Mansion to deliver what she considered to be real coffee. Most certainly the Avenger's could afford their own coffee beans, after all Tony Stark was a walking wallet, but to the New York Detective turned Avenger, there were standards.

Scanning her card, she accepted the familiar greeting from Jarvis and was ready to offer her usual reply when the British AI continued speaking. "Wait, what?" she questioned in surprise while staring at the wall because there was no person to stare at. "He wants to see me? That's new."

Having worked with the Avengers for nearly two years now, she had only seen Stark in passing here and there, and worked with him briefly on one mission. That was the extent of her personal knowledge of the man, the rest was all what she heard as rumors and read in the papers, which she of course tended to toss out as only half truths.

Once she'd recovered from her surprise, she adjusted her leather jacket, paused in the kitchen long enough to drop off the coffee beans, then headed to the recreation room... shockingly enough, one of the rooms she'd never been in.
Tony Stark     Tony looks up as Sara walks into the room. "Ah, good. Jarvis said Monday was usually the day you dropped off coffee. Not sure why, all things considered, but whatever makes you happy, I guess." He taps the hologram floating in front of him and it minimizes into his glasses. "You realize if you have a preference, I can just have it delivered in bulk. Or buy out whatever company makes it."

He shakes his head and makes a dismissive gesture, "Anyway, coffee isn't why I was looking for you. I think I can help you with a problem that you seem to keep having."
Sara Pezzini Stark in person was exactly what Sara expected him to be... cocky, self assured, rich. As she entered she offered him a nod, treating him like any other person she didn't know well. Making her way over to a chair across from the couch, she paused a moment as she listened to him, then sat sitting herself down.

"I'm rarely here," she offered first, adjusting herself a little before settling in. "But when I do come by, I like to have my Arabica blend. Started out as something I did before I joined the team, a way to share my favorites with everyone. Now I just do it as part of my checking in. I don't think you need to buy the company however," is added at the end with a slight smirk.

Crossing right leg over left she cants her head slightly, her demeanor, movements, even the slight way she shifts in the chair, all scream of her years as a detective. She's watching the room, watching him, reading things that most people would ignore. "What problem would that be?" She finally asks with a curious tone.
Tony Stark     "Well first off, don't get me wrong, I love the whole metal bikini thing. Very 80's and all. But when you're done with it, you tend to need to be blurred out on news reports and such. The Avengers are apparently a household name and all, so I think we need to drop that R rating down to a PG-13."

He slips a hand into one of his pockets and comes up with something small and metallic. Tossing it over to her, he says "This should help out. If you have a specific request for a look, let me know and I can reprogram it. For now it's just a dark blue jumpsuit."

The item in question turns out to be what appears to be a necklace in the form of the Avengers 'A' logo. "When you're wearing it, if you tap it twice it will create the jumpsuit so that you can stop trying to dive behind dumpsters when your armor shuts off."
Sara Pezzini Sara lifts a single brow high to her hairline as Tony speaks. She's heard him give speeches, the odd sort of cockiness to the way he presented himself to the media... it was apparently the same odd sort of cockiness that was just him.

"Witchblade is a walking R rating," she snorts under her breath, then reaches to catch the tossed item as if it were reflex, not really having to look.

Holding up the necklace, she tilts her head slightly and for one brief moment her eyes seem to glass over. Tony's never witnessed with Witchblade grabs Sara's full attention like that, and though it only lasts a few seconds, can sometimes be a little unsettling to watch.

"So long as the blue jumpsuit has the Avenger logo on it, it can remain a jumpsuit," she finally says as she rolls her eyes. The eye roll was at Witchblade, not Tony, which she makes known as she adds, "He's considering the possibilities of breaking the chain just to mess with you, but is starting to learn... after thousands of years... that naked isn't best in a public setting."

Having dealt with the inner part of the problem, Witchblade, at least for now, she reaches to clasp the necklace in place. "I'd like to think I perfected the fine art of the dive behind a dumpster."
Tony Stark     Tony chuckles, "Yeah, I can't say I've seen anyone put something solid between themselves and everyone else much quicker than you can do it, but I'm thinking it probably gets a little old sometimes."

He gestures at the necklace "That's an offshoot of the tech I used in my latest suit. I'd been working on nanotech for a little while now, but got a real boost from this alien I met. Having working examples made it child's play to reverse engineer the tech, so now I can make stuff like that. Try not to leave it behind anywhere, I don't think I want that tech floating around out in the world. There's too many ways it could be misused."
Sara Pezzini Out of habit, or perhaps there is something more to it, Sara reaches to her right wrist to turn the bracelet around a few times on her wrist. The observant sort would know she does this quite often, which would lead to the thinking it was a habit of some kind.

"Witchblade is a firm believer in the protection of his Wielder, aka me," she states with a chuckle. "But there are times when I would really love the chance to not have what I was wearing completely destroyed. I run out of clothing a lot, and in a busy week have to schedule shopping trips just to replace the basics."

Lifting the pendent up to look at it a moment, she looks back to Tony and that brow is raised high again. "Are you saying I'm wearing alien tech that you messed with?" She asks firsts. "I can assure you it won't be left behind for someone else to find, as like the bracelet I won't be removing it... but if it is alien, I need to know if it will be detected as alien."
Tony Stark     Shaking his head, Tony replies, "It's one hundred percent Stark produced. The alien stuff just gave me a jump in the work I was already doing. If it makes you feel any better, I'm using it also, though in a slightly different way."

He stands up from the couch, taps his wristwatch and red and gold metal seems to flow out of it to cover him head to toe, forming into the highly recognizable Iron Man armor. He keeps the faceplate open for the moment, saying "See? Safe as can be."

A thought hits him and he asks, "Oh, I was wondering, is there a reason most of your clothes are a touch, um, what's a good way to put it? Older models, maybe? I mean, if it's because you like those styles, then great, you do you. But if it's because of the whole clothes shredding thing, you do get a fairly sizable expense account from the Avengers. Bruce has a lot of clothes bills too, so that's something that we're used to covering expenses on."
Sara Pezzini Sara has worked with Tony when he was already in the armor, she had never seen first hand the armor 'arrive'. She watches with a keen interest how it forms around him, even leaning forward slightly, then has to sigh and mutters, "Yes, you do it faster... now shut up."

"I wasn't worried about it being alien," she admits, after all how could she complain about that when her armor is a magical entity with a mind of his own? "But I do like the idea that's it is pure Stark tech."

Once again she had to take a moment to be bombarded in her own mind by Witchblade, sometimes the eye roll is the indication of it taking place, other times her eyes glass as he demands more attention. This time was the eye roll, before she is able to once again focus on the conversation at hand. "To be blunt and to the point, because everything else is a waste of your and my time... I know nothing about an expense account." She states plainly. "I use my own funds to replace my clothes, and the majority of that allotment goes to ensuring my work clothes for the NYPD are up to snuff."
Tony Stark     "Geez, people are falling down on the job, someone's supposed to tell you all this stuff." He doesn't look away as he's very used to dealing with the built-in AIs of the mansion and tower, but it's obvious he's not talking to her when he says "Open expense accounts at Bloomingdales, Macy's and Saks for Miss Pezzini, fifty thousand a month at each."

"There, get some stuff you like, it's easily replaced if you end up ripping out of it. And trust me, it's just a fraction of the money the Avengers brand pulls in monthly. Don't tell Cap, but his stuff even outsells mine. Guess people really do want a wholesome hero to look up to. Buy some nice stuff, we work hard enough to enjoy it."

The faceplate on the suit closes as he says "Open the skylight." He waves to her as his repulsors fire up and he rises up and out through the skylight, then kicks in the boosters as he heads off in the direction of the Tower.
Sara Pezzini Sara might have had time to mutter the words, "Holy shit." regarding the numbers offered before Tony was through the skylight and gone. That left her sitting in the recreation room wide eyed, jaw slightly slack, brain stuck as she watched him go.

"Hey Jarvis, let Stark know he's the one who fell down on the job," she finally states when she collects herself, a broad grin coming to her face. "After all, he's the one with the money, right? Oh, and thank him for me... cause I'm going shopping."
