Monet St. Croix It's a rather quiet spring day over in Bushwick. Monet is walking along through it, the fresh weather having a warmth going throughout the area. The tall Algerian woman is enjoying herself, arm carrying a shopping bag with fresh clothes.
Madelyne Pryor Madelyne Pryor is sitting peacefully on a bench. It's a nice day. Sunny. She has a magazine open in front of her that she's flipping through, but for the most part seems to be bored with whatever article she's reading (looks like: Twelve fashion tips to get you in shape for the summer!). She glances up and spots a somewhat familiar figure passing nearby. She considers for a moment, and then closes her magazine and starts to walk in the direction of the woman, to intercept her.
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would glance over at Madelyne and would wave, "Ah, hello there, how have you been doing? It ha sbeen some time. Hvae you been remaining in teh city or not?" She hadn't talked to Madelyne in a few months after all. She would gesture over at Madelyne to join her by her side.
Madelyne Pryor "I have been well, and yes, I've been in the city for the most part." Madelyne replies as she scoots up next to Monet. She glances down at the shopping bag, and asks, "Anything fun, or boring business stuff?" with a sly smile on her lips.
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would muse, "Things have kept me rather busy. Mostly business. And the types of things that you would find rather tedious I'm sure. In return, does the same extend over to you as well?"
Madelyne Pryor "Oh, no, I meant what's in the bag?" Madelyne asks, not particularly bothered about the 'business or pleasure' question relating to Monet's LIFE or anything. No. What cute thing did the woman buy? She shrugs slowly, "It's been a quiet few months. Some business. Not as much play."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would 'ah' and smile, "Oh, merely some clothes. It seemed rather tedious to have themd elivered when I could take them myself. Nothing particularly exotic. I find it appropriate to support local establishments and tailors."
