Koriand'r Food, coffee, downtime. Even heroines needed the same! Left with her own moment, Koriand'r had stopped over at Starling City, settled down in the cafe. Of course, she wasn't subtle, bright orange skin flaming hair and her purple costume...but for the moment? Well she was enjoying herself. Leaning back in the chair, her coffee was in her hand, a muffin before her...

What more could she want?
Caleb Dykstra Arriving in front of the cafe, Caleb comes... Uh, driving...(?) riding...(?) something that looks to have been taken out of a science fiction movie - a futuristic quadcycle, which has, interestingly enough, no steering wheel. It takes him a moment to get the hang of it and park it, but once he does, he gets off, and the dome that serves as window lowers to the floor, assuming the shape of an ovoid cilynder.

Naturally enough, people start to have a look.

He pulls out his helmet, and decides to take a break for coffee - and let the vehicle regarge some batteries.
Koriand'r Super-advanced tech wasn't so strange in a world with Stark, Reed Richards and more...not to mention aliens for that matter. Yet even so Kori looked up, blinking a little as the vehicle arrived. If it had been bigger, she might have suspected that it was one of the Titans coming to visit her, but instead it's another, earning a little tilt of her head and curious gaze from beyond the rim of her coffee cup.
Caleb Dykstra As he looks around, Caleb smiles and waves once he notices the orange-skinned alien. "Hiya" He grins, pointing towards the vehicle, "It's a little risky, still gotta work out a few kinks, but... It works!"

He's pretty happy about it, too.
Koriand'r "You are a developer?" Koriand'r questions, the heroine taking a bite of her food before stretching her arms out a little and leaning forwards. The heavily recognized alien girl does consider the machine, the helmet, but still it reminds her of...well, alien tech.
Caleb Dykstra "Well, in a way", he clarifies. "My father's a mechanic, I followed in his footsteps and I intend to major in electromchanical engineering." Explaining further, "I got a background on restorations and repurposing, and I also like to reverse-engineer stuff, so..." He shrugs, "Take that for what you will."

He extends a hand, "Caleb Dykstra." He adds, "And you're Starfire, I take it."
Koriand'r "I am!" Kori offers, standing to take the hand only to pause as she came close to handing over her cookie and promptly shifting to hold the treat in her mouth for the duration of the human greeting. Cookie returned, she tilts her head to the side. "Interesting! Is it something for personal use, or are you trying to make something to sell?"
Caleb Dykstra "It's actually my science project for my school's Science Fair", Caleb explains. "But, if there was a ways to get a sponsor, I mean..." He shrugs, thinking a figure. "I think it'd be quite the attraction of the future." He adds, "Light structures for chassi, covered with molded photoelectric coating - you know, the same stuff they're using on solar windows now? - to suck up energy, even from artificial sources... Plus a dynamo system to use the kinetic energy into more electricity..." He adds, "It's small, practical, fun and even sleek." He points to the people that are looking. "And hey, if it works at the end, and I get first prize... I mean..."
