Owner Pose
Shredder     It is a quiet evening for Saki. He works hard to advance the Foot Clan, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't appreciate the finer things in life. The Kenka restaurant is an excellent place to both be reminded of home, and to experience that which the world has to offer in the area of creativity. His silk jacket identifies him, and he seems content to have taken a table of his own, and he sits with his wine, observing quietly the world outside. It's not a night that he has deemed one for business, but for quiet contemplation.
Gwen Stacy It's a quiet night at the Kenka. It's a fine restaurant after all where only the finest go to have dinner.

Maybe that's why it was picked as a prime spot to get robbed by a few criminals that don't know better. Don't know the dangers of those that sometimes come to the Kenka. Saki will notice that it starts a commotion over at the bar area. Some raised voices that preclude violence. A faint scream, followed by a shot to the ceiling.

"This is a robbery!" Someone shouts, "Everyone put their wallets and phones on the table! We will be collecting!"

Meanwhile Gwen is swinging around the hood when there's a little tweak to her spider senses. A ping that something isn't quite right. And she starts swinging that way.
Shredder     Saki, for his part, isn't alarmed. He is annoyed. This was a quiet, peaceful evening for him. He watched as the commotion started, content to let it play out as long as it didn't interrupt him, but then they had to escalate matters by firing a shot into the ceiling. His eyes shift up, a quick estimate of the damage to determine the power of the gun used.

He place his chopsticks on their resting place, and dabs his mouth with the napkin. And he stands from his seat.
Gwen Stacy The weapon seems to be a machine gun. Not exactly top shelf but the kind a gangbanger would be able to get. Whoever these guys may be they don't seem to be top professionals. So the probability this is a hit on Saki is low. Even if never zero.

One of the robbers spots Saki getting up and gestures with his gun, approaching the tables, "No heroes. Sit your ass down, bitch." the accent sounds local as the robber waves his gun near Saki. They are dressed in various colors, this particular one in a green and blue combination with a pantyhose serving as a mask.

A couple of others are going around the tables, collecting some of the wares. Though what about the one near the bar? He seems to be missing. But someone looking at the ceiling would notice that he is now webbed up. Seems there may be a sneaky spider afoot.
Shredder     If Saki has noticed the webbed criminal, he doesn't give any sign. He steps from his seat toward the criminal with a calmness that one might expect if they were simply going to take a toothpick on their way out.

He doesn't even seem to look at the gun, as if it was a non factor. He isn't afraid, or even elevated in concern in the least bit.
Gwen Stacy The man seems affronted that Shredder doesn't seem to care about him at all. Or the GUN at all.

"You deaf, pendejo?" a mix of spanish to his words, he starting to approach to put the gun right against Shredder's chest, "I will fuckin' shoot you."
Shredder     The approach was a mistake. To be fair, entering a restaraunt where the Shredder decided to have a meal was a mistake. As the man makes his threat, Saki bursts the remaining couple of steps forward, a duck to the outside of the gun's aim, and thrusts two jabbing fingers forward to the man's throat. It's a penetrating stab, hard enough that it could very well rupture the artery within, though it is unlikely to break the skin. No one would fault someone who is defending themselves.
Gwen Stacy This is not the type of gangbanger used to getting challenged when he is pointing a gun at someone. In fact he is taken fully by surprise when Saki moves in and delivers that blow to the throat. His eyes bulge out and he tries to say something before his gun drops the floor and his hands are up to his throat, trying to breathe and staggering back against a table, sending it to the ground.

A scream is heard from one of the other restaurant goers and some panic starts settling in. At least until another pair of men walk in with small machine guns, "What's goin' on here. Oi, Pablo?!" they call out to the man that is now on the ground, clutching at his throat. One approaches while the other points his weapon, "WHO DID THIS?" he demands.

Meanwhile a white-clad figure is seen skulking in, hands and feet on the ceiling like a spider, prowling in. Ghost Spider.
Shredder     Saki is silent as the two men assess the situation, giving just enough time for them to have a sense of security that they won't be attacked before reacting. When the first man reaches his injured fellow, Saki makes his next move, scooping from the table his choice weapon. It isn't a knife. It's a salt shaker, the symmetrical shape of it with a pointed top makes it a more optimal throwing weapon than any of the knives at the tables.

In one swift motion, it darts toward the man with the weapon, targetting his forehead as the japanese man in the suit ducks low to the ground, and his eyes scan for the other interloper in the robber's plan.
Gwen Stacy The salt shaker flies true, hitting the man right on the forehead, sending him tumbling back...

*THWIP*

A web is shot from above, catching the man's weapon before he has a chance of shooting it by reflex when he's falling, Ghost Spider then making the web spinning as if she was going for a throw. Which she is... Right to the other assailant that went over to check on poor Pablo. The webbed gun catches the man right in the face with a loud *smack*. A moment later and the lithe spider heroine jumps from the ceiling, falling on the man with her knee. Enough to knock him out for the moment.
Shredder     Saki follows up, not unaware that the other man had been engaged at this point. He focuses on his target, and before the man hit's the ground, Saki has leapt with a trajectory that is more forward than up. He hits the man with an open palm strike to the sternum, accelerating his fall so that his smashes into the ground with significantly more force than he had started to fall with. It looks really painful. At this, he straightens himself, adjusting his suit jacket as he looks back toward t he man that Ghost Spider had engaged.
Gwen Stacy The Ghost Spider backflips away from the man she just threw down to the ground with the help of the machine gun of the OTHER man, shooting a couple more webs to pin the man down to the ground to make sure he doesn't continue his aggression. A glance is then given across to where Saki is, eyes on him a moment, perhaps assessing whether he's friend or foe. A split of a second passes and so does the tension, gaze turning to the man Saki took down.

"Not bad. Wait, let me guess ..., you are an old sensei coming to the States for the first time? Barely any english?" the voice under the mask sounds young even if her movements are fast and precise, those spider powers clearly granting her more than the average strength and finesse. She approaches the two men Saki took down, a few more webs to keep them pinned. Most of the danger seems to be over.
Shredder     Saki's answer seems calm and collected. "If you like, you can say that," he says. While he has a Japanese accent, it's not so terribly thick as to make him difficult to understand.
Gwen Stacy Gwen snaps her fingers as she misses her mark on guessing where Saki comes from, "Close." she says. Clearly a glass half-full kinda girl! She turns to offer a flourished bow to the other restaurant goers, "Police should be arriving soon to take these robbers away." she announces, those with sharp senses able to sense the sirens already on the way.

The next moment she produces a small phone, turning the camera on as she readies it for a selfie, angling it so she can take the robbers webbed down to the floor, "Hey, you can be on the photo too if you want, mysterious one." she glancing over her shoulder at Saki before resuming her victory pose.
Shredder     "That's all right," Saki answers. "You can have the credit, it's not something I need." He seems to regard her with interest, though, as she takes the selfie. As if he's assessing something about her. "You are Ghost Spider, correct?" he asks. "Why is it that you do this? Looking for criminals to fight?"
Gwen Stacy "Suit yourself.." Ghost Spider lifts her shoulders in a brief shrug before striking a couple of poses for a few snapshots. Got to get those angles right after all! The question gets her to mmm and look over at Saki again.

"Responsibility, of course." She tells him, "If I have these powers should I not put them to use in helping my city?" it's a rhetorical question of course! "Someone important to me once told me that with great power always comes great responsibility."
Shredder     "Indeed. I wonder if they meant it in reverse," Saki muses. "Ghost Spider, I'm sure that all of these people are quite grateful for your intercession," he says. "Thank you for your...responsibility this evening."
