Owner Pose
Steve Rogers After Thor's return from elsewhere in the galaxy, the grass in the backyard of Avenger's Mansion has that rather unique pattern which most people wouldn't recognize, or perhaps think some kind of art statement. But the Avengers know the pattern left by passage by Bifrost.

"So, I don't know, maybe if we just paved the area?" Steve is saying to one of the staff who handles the lawns. "I'm not quite sure if he ends up in the same place every single time though?"

The greenskeeper gives a soft groan and says. "We'll work something out." He walks off towards the supplies in the garage, muttering something about 'artificial turf' and 'the jets are bad enough'.

Steve manages to suppress any grin at the comments. He takes a sip of his beer he came out here. Not that it's going to be able to get him drunk, but it's still nice to sip now and then.
Loki It is probably a good thing that the groundskeeper had not started to patch the spot on the ground, because once again that rainbow blast of light emerges from the heavens, cooking a pattern into the grass.

This time, however, it is not a broad shouldered, muscle bound, blonde adonis of a god that appears, but a thin, lanky, black haired...well, also god.

Loki looks around for a moment, noticing where he is, and then gazes upward. "Funny, Heimdall. Haha."
Steve Rogers Cap jumps back as that burst of light comes down, a reaction to the suddenness of it. Though he straightens upright as soon as he realizes what it is. He glances back towards the mansion, thinking Thor was already here. Though he could have flown off and-

"Oh," Steve Rogers says as he sees who arrives on the beam of rainbow hued light. "Oh," Steve repeats again, his lips pressing into a line. "Wonderful. Loki," Steve says, crossing his arms with a bit of a stern look for the Trickster God.
Loki "It is wonderful that I have chosen to once again grace Midgard with my magnificent presence." Loki flashes a grin towards Cap.

"I like what you have done with the place," he says, casting his gaze around for a moment. "I still think it would have been better with my guidance, but you people do not appreciate real leadership."
Steve Rogers Blue eyes take on a little extra icy look as Steve stares over at Loki. "As long you remember what happened last time you tried, and don't think to try again," Steve says. Though he knows Thor and Loki may have... Steve doesn't even know the right words. Made up doesn't seem right. Stopped fighting each other? Lately at least? Steve still doesn't trust Loki as far as he can throw him. No, much less than that as he could actually throw him some distance.

"At least you chose the same spot Thor already had," Steve says as he notices the grass. "What brings you to Earth, Loki?"
Loki "I am very considerate," replies the God of Mischief, taking credit for Heimdall's consideration. He does, conveniently, ignore the part about how he was defeated last time.

He flashes a grin over at Cap. "As far as what brings me to Midgard?" He laughs, as the image of him begins to fade away.

"I leave that for you to ponder," speaks a disembodied mouth before it also winks out of existence.

Apparently Loki has been reading Lewis Carroll.
