Emma Frost Along the coast of China, seismographs are raging as tremors go for hundreds of kilometers. A great beast moves through the water with the speed and ease a rocket might go through space. Displacing hundreds of thousands of tonnes of water with each second, the ocean trembling at its passing as a vacuum would go behind it. After it would pass, the water would surge once more to fill the gap.
Waves crashing against one another like thunder, ionized water turning to steam them plasma, making it seem like the ocean itself was alight with dark fire, leaving brimstone in it's wake. Whatever goliath it is, it moves with a speed that only the fastest things in the sea can match.
J'onn J'onzz J'onn J'onzz is wondering about the wisdom of attacking a fire breathing monster, but he was on duty and the need is great. He will have to keep his distance but he has a number of abilities...even if it is helpijg civilians. He flies after the creature but keeps his distance.
Namor It's making it really fucking annoying to be underwater, too.

Something is moving just as fast across the water _towards_ the enormous, water-displacing thing, propelled by psionically-controlled mutant wings and a control over the water around it.

Namor is like a humanoid torpedo made of divine flesh, and his mystical trident pierces the water ahead of him, reducing friction even more as he rockets towards the massive behemoth.

Then he goes deeper.

_Deeper_.

_**Deeper**_.

Powerful legs coil at the bottom of the ocean, jet-black hair floating around him like an abyssal crown. When the behemoth is in range, Namor pushes off, shooting towards the surface, his trident held back, one fist cocked, and then launched up to sucker punch Fin Fang Foom in the jaw.

It's important, when you're this glorious, to make an _entrance_.
Audra Meridian At first it had seemed like a large natural disaster was brewing in the Pacific. That was enough to get attention... Then it was learned it was not a what but a someTHING moving through the ocean at an incredible rate. That was enough to get a lot of people now wanting to go the other way.

Windrose was not one of those people. Goggles on, flight pack engaged, and the SCIENCE HERO took off soaring over the waters to investigate with the same combination of speed and precautionary observation as she would approach any highly hazardous situation, storm or otherwise.

The goggles are also good at keeping ionized steam and crap out of her eyes. Remember your saftey gear!
Emma Frost As Namor goes to blast up through the water to BATTER Fin Fang Foom in the jaw, the ancient dragon-god's head would snap back. He goes to rise out of the water, towering as high as a skyscraper. "FOOLISH ATLANTEAN. YOU GET IN THE EWAY OF YOUR BETTER. AWAY WITH YOU!" Fin Fang Foom would lift up a claw through the water, sending it flicking over at Namor in the way one might swat a fly, electrified energy going along with it, coating along his arm!
Sho Oto Unfortunately for Sho, he has no idea what is going on until he sees the oceans literally boiling from within China itself. Which means that some sort of disaster is coming. Metahuman or not, well... Sho at least will try to halt it peacefully. Or so he hopes. That brings him to the water's edge after repeated jumps in his giant form, keeping his size small until he needs the larger size if he needs it.

That at least makes him easier to track as it's not every day one sees a silver and black humanoid jumping along by fiery bursts on the street level.

Landing on the docks, which are fortunately built to take a lot, the silver and black form slides a bit as it looks towards the boiling water. Moving to the edge, Sho starts to look around.

Unlike the other responders, he's just wandering guy. Not even a big hero name or that well known. But what he can do is make himself a bit of a target as he puts his hands together before starting to grow. By the time he stops, a 59 foot tall giant is standing on China's shores watching the boiling water and ready to shield the land.
J'onn J'onzz J'onn J'onzz swoops down from the sky, potential fire isnt fire but he knows he has one good close strike before having to flee and unleashes a psychic and phyaical blow behind Fing attempting to catch him by surprise.
Namor But Namor is prepared for this. That's why he brought his trident!

As the water comes art him, he ignores it --water can't hurt him-- and the electricity he handles by lifting his trident and drawing all that power into it, letting it overcharge and glow with stolen incandescence.

Namor raises a sharp brow at the dragon, his ankle wings buzzing, keeping him aloft like a hummingbird's wings.

"You disturb my kingdom and do not take the rebuke with humility, Foom." Namor lowers the glowing, crackling trident and points it at the Makluan.

"Divest yourself of these actions and return to your silent depths, where you are _permitted_, or I will have to find someplace better suited to your infantile tantrums."

He knows there's other people around. But there's also a giant alien dragon and, well. You know.
Audra Meridian Some kind of action happens underwater and then the ocean parts as the massive form comes rising out of it like every other appropriate Kaiju movie entrance. Though this one can apparently talk, even as he's swiping at whatever assaulted him.

Windrose pulls up to hover a moment, taking in the situation. One person fighting the creature in the water, the Martian Manhunter soaring into action, and another big dude appearing on the shores. Then the electricity crackling with the monster draws her attention. An idea is formed, and Windrose swoops into action.

Rather than attack directly though she maneuvers in and engages the electrical conductors in her suit as she holds out her arms, and tries to draw away some of that ionized energy. The less water being electrically boiled into hot steam and plasma the better for the others fighting, right? Theoretically, but in action can be a different matter.

Because that's how science works.
Sho Oto Well, there's a smart thing, and a dumb thing. And it's a giant alien dragon. Sho looks around, then sees the perfect thing to toss to get that dragon's attention.

Reaching down, he picks up a fuel tank. One of the big propane ones.

Sho may be a mystical giant, but everyone knows propane is explosive. There's big red signs on it. Just in case, he grabs an empty looking container as well from when people hopefully got the hell out of dodge with literally boiling seas around.

The propane container is chunked at the dragon's head like an overgrown football. Followed by the shipping container after it.

Hopefully his aim is pretty good, as he's hoping that will get the dragon's attention. Fighting it in the sea is probably insane. But at least the dragon will know it's not the only big threat moving around at the moment.
Emma Frost Windrose may or may not be aware but this is not a thing of science. This is an ancient being of magic. Fin Fang Foom's laugh makes the seas quake even as Namor's trident would glow and absorb the energy. "WHEN YOUR CIVILIZATION WAS NEW, I WAS. WHEN YOUR CIVILIZATION FELL LIKE THE BLOATED CARCASS IT WAS, I WAS. NOW ALL I SEE IS A KING OF A ROTTEN CORPSE PLAYING MAKE BELIEVE THAT IT STILL HAS IT'S GLORIES FROM EONS AGO." Namor has given his challenge.

Fin Fang Foom has given his taunt back. "WHEN YOUR KIND FLED IN FEAR TO THE DEPTHS, I WATCHED. WHEN THEY HAD TO BE SAVED BY THE GODLINGS, I WATCHED. I LAUGH AT THEM NOW, I LAUGH AT THEM THEN. NOW BEGONE, LITTLE PRINCELING."

Physics do not work the same way around him. As J'Onn goes to blast at Fin Fang Foom's mind, he comes upon the depths of a consciuosness thousands of years old, a creature ancient and that's thoughts are alien. For the existence of man, those eons are but an eyeblink.

Those giant glowing eyes gaze back along the Martian from the astral plane, bellowing with laughter.
J'onn J'onzz J'onn J'onzz holds his hands to his head and screams in a primal gutteral alien voice that few ever hear as he falls into the ocean and deep into its depths....he will be fine, but he is out of this fight.
Namor Namor doesn't back down. Instead, he hovers back, waiting for Fin Fang Foom to be primed during his taunting. He waits towards the end, to when the dragon's mouth is open...

And then he launches, with tremendous superhuman might, strength that can crush mountains. and overcharged trident like a missile, igniting the oxygen in the air and causing smoke and fire to be left in its wake as it shoots in through the dragon's mouth.

And hopefully, out the other side.
Mary Bromfield Suddenly there's a loud peal of thunder as a mystical portal opens high in the sky. Coming out of the portal at high speed is Thunderbolt, who heard about the kaiju sighting and decided to take a shortcut through the Rock of Eternity. And she pauses, coming to a stop to hover and take in the sight of Fin Fang Foom.

Then she says one word, as if it were a thunderclap. "SHAZAM!"

And with that, a massive bolt of lightning streaks from the sky, looking to hit Fin Fang Foom right in the head!
Audra Meridian Well it was worth a try. Guess this will take more direct methods.

Fortunately more direct methods are on the way as one of the Shazams arrives. "Good timing, Thunderbolt." Her magic lightning might have more effectiveness against a magical monster. But Windrose lets loose some of her own ionized discharge as well to help give the lightning strikes some additional oomph.
Sho Oto The kaboom of the propane tank is something to be seen. Especially when lightning causes it to go off! Let alone a cargo container flung behind it. That probably doesn't do much. It's the propane container that was the real impact. The shipping container was to show where it came from.

And well... the next one is more flattened and thrown like a giant frisbee... that's red hot on one side?

The silver and black giant's tribal markings are glowing a prominent red as it picks up another, keeping it's gaze on Foom as it flattens another empty container and starts to heat it up as well.

Someone's trying to get the thing's attention, for sure.
Emma Frost The propane tank is hurled through the air, right as Namor's staff goes to glow with the charged up powers as he goes to shove it down the throat of Fin Fang Foom! Then the magical blast from Thunderbolt hits the tank, and it goes to detonate over in a spectactular explosion that detonates, sending the skyscraper-sized goliath godling back several hundred meters!

Namor is, however, at risk even as the superheated explosion goes off about Fing's head of being caught up in the extreme heat of it, even as Fing goes to let out his own furnace-fueled fire right back over at Sho, energy from Mary's thunderbolt scorching along his frame as a claw goes up to try and strike at her!
Namor That's fine. Namor can take it. Especially since even as he falls, he hits the water, reinvigorating himself and spinning a cyclone out of the ocean itself. He shoots through the water to where his trident is landing and snatches it, feet skimming the surface of the water as Mary's thunderbolt hits Fin Fang Foom.

Like a hummingbird, Namor flies up in zig-zags to where the Marvel ends up after F3's attack.

"I will impale it with the trident, you will strike the trident with your mystical lightning." That ought to put the thing down for a while at least.
Mary Bromfield And Mary nimbly flies out of the way, moving with the Speed of Artemis as she circles out of reach of Fin Fang Foom. "What, too quick for you? Or did you just need a date to scale the Empire State Building with?"

With that, she ends up circling around next to Namor, "Sounds like a plan, you stick him with the lightning rod, and I'll light him up." She grins, and then takes off, looping to try and keep fin Fang Foom's attention... and set him up for a shot from Namor and the others.
Audra Meridian And now there's fire too! "Look out!" Windrose fortunately is more maneuverable than she is fast, having to zig-zag out of the way of the flaming breath. She would of considered trying to extinquish it, but considering they're dealing with a force that's as much magical as it is elemental it might not have been as effective. Best to stick to evasion and support.

Magic and Science CAN work together. Windrose uses her weather manipulation to do some subtle shifts, priming the conditions for summoning and supercharging the lightning when it's summoned. It helps that she's familiar working with the Shazamly and can calibrate towards synergy with their particular magical thunderbolts.
Sho Oto Sho is slower in his own giant form, but fast enough to bring up the flattened shipping container. His own hands are still red hot from getting the impromptu weapon heated as well.

And he brings up another to help ward off the fire.

A loud "tch" comes from the impromptu shield as the flames bathe it and practically melt the metals, fusing them together.

Once the flames are over, Sho pokes his head out and looks at the melted metal, then up at Foom. And reaches over to grab a stray truck behind him to hurl that at Foom's face. That probably won't need an ignition source, right?
Emma Frost As Sho goes to gather up energy, and Namor goes to instruct the others, the King of Atlantic taking lead against the old foe of his kingdom, the Lord of Atlantis charges forwards! Ancient weapons of war slash into the scarred frame of the ancient beast, digging in hard! And as Mary goes to zoom about Fin Fang Foom, a claw goes up to weave through the air even as he howls in pain from Namor's strike.

Clawed digits weave through the air, arcing to forge runes from a language long forgotten from ages past, imprinting upon reality power, calling forth.. And from a void blasts pure Darkforce over at Thunderbolt as she would go through the air as Sho goes to throw the next truck at him, which erupts over his already scarred, mawed up face!
Audra Meridian It takes Windrose a moment to realize the big Triple-Ef is actually writing so to speak in the air. But a brief cross-reference of the runes brings up no matches. Probably some ancient dead language only the ancient alien dragon knows.

Come on, think, there's got to be something else she can do... well, worth as much a shot as anything else.

Windrose engages the projectors in her gauntlets, and sends a blast of freezing wind at Fing's face! He's been blasted and burned enough times maybe farther aggrivating the damage with a sharp change in temperature via biting windburn. Hit the point that's already hurt!
Namor "FOOM! You cannot win!" Namor buzzes like annoying wasp, but one that is powerful enough to match the great dragon. He extends his hand and the trident embedded in Fin Fang Foom shudders, twisting itself in the Makluan's flesh.

"It is time for you to retreat."
Mary Bromfield Thunderbolt was focusing on setting up the shot, and thus wasn't expecting the mystical blast from Fin Fang Foom. The focused darkness knocks her out of the air, sending her plummeting to the ground. She struggles with consciousness as the darkest demons and fears threaten to overwhelm her mind, but she manages with one last effort to call down the lightning, aiming it right for the trident.
Sho Oto Seeing the tracing of the runes has Sho cautious, and making what sounds like warning noises. A shipping container is hurled, this one not flattened as he tries to toss it right at Foom's face. Too late to disrupt whatever it was doing, but hopefully catching the dragon's attention.

Anticipating that it may be aimed at him, Sho ducks behind the shield but then raises back up when he senses it went elsewhere.

Seeing someone get hit has Sho moving to catch them quickly, using the melted together containers as a shield as he tries to get in position to cover Thunderbolt herself with the melted together pieces of metal.
Emma Frost The full might of the otherdimensional energy that Fin Fang Foom is drawing upon is disrupted by the lightning which strikes Namor's trident, it focusing and enhancing the energy coursing through it! This penetrates Foom's significant armor, blasting through the carapace to strike underneath!

Foom goes to reach up with a claw, intent on yanking the trident out between digits and trying to crush it like a twig even as more energy from Windrose goes along it!

It's a fight as all of that power courses through one place on Fin Fang Foom, conducting over along the energy as the dragon's power clashes with that of the others!

It's ultimately the shipping container thrown at his face which makes the battle go in favor of the heroes as the built up energy overwhelm's Fooms defenses, the ancient dragon letting out a shriek of pain!
Mary Bromfield With Fin Fang Foom losing concentration, Thunderbolt recovers, just in time to be caught by Sho Oto. Shaking her head, she picks herself up, "Thanks... the lizard packed a wallop there." She grins, and then smiles over as she sees Audra! "Hey, thought I sensed you here!" With that, she launches herself back up into the air, crackling with lightning as she looks ready for Round Two, building up speed and power to fly right /at/ Fin Fang Foom.

Skipping the subtlety and going right for the headshot, as it were.
Audra Meridian "Always glad to lend a hand," Windrose replies to Thunderbolt with a nod. "Speaking of, best to strike while the oppritunity is hot!" Which is exactly what Thunderbolt does, aerially charging the large dragon.

Windrose hovers down lower to get closer to the water's surface, and starts whipping up another large surge of wind. This time sending it rushing out to push up the water into some large waves and send them crashing towards FFF. Probably won'd do a lot of immeadiate harm, but if she can help push him back while everyone else is hammering at him it'll still be accomplishing something.
Namor Namor rises up from the water as Thunderbolt swoops in for an attack. Now with his trident back in his hands, he ducks in low, slipping under the water again to assault Fin Fang Foom from behind, striking with the mystical weapon at the dragon's hind legs.
Emma Frost There's a howl of pain over from Foom then over as the dragon would be blasted with energy. His ancient mind wars with beastial thoughts of revenge and vengeance, and the pain and injury which he has already suffered. MOre energy blasts over him from the trident, from things hurled by Sho, and by Thunderbolt.

"I WAS HERE WHEN YOUR CIVILIZATION FELL, PRINCELING. I WILL BE THERE TO WATCH IT FALL AGAIN AND BE A TOMB AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA."

By which we mean the dragon takes the 'discretion is the better part of valor' and goes to depart if he can, heading back out to the ocean.
Sho Oto Sho meanwhile looks at the dragon, and pauses in his throwing things.

Seeing it is moving to depart, he sets down the shield and the next shipping container he was about to toss.

In a surprising move, the silver giant stands up, and gives a respectful bow towards the dragon. A full martial arts bow, with fist in palm before him.

The giant still watches to make sure Foom's leaving, but otherwise remains standing to watch for the moment.
Audra Meridian "Geeze." Windrose tilts her head a bit to wiggle a fingertip in her ear. "That guy really likes the sound of his own voice, and it is obnoxiously loud." But if he's heading back out to the unexplored depths instead of causing chaos on the shore, good enough.
Mary Bromfield Thunderbolt pulls up into a hover, watching Fin Fang Foom withdraw, and she doesn't pursue, instead flying back down towards Windrose. "Yeah, well, think he realized he bit off more than he could chew on this trip." She frowns, "Going to have to keep an eye out for him."

With that, she gives Windrose a bit of a tired smile, "How've you been, anyway, been a little while since I saw you around, Windrose."
Namor Namor buzzes his way over next to Mary, his trident in his hand, as he watches the dragon flee. He hovers for a long moment, and then looks to the others involved.

"Good show."

And then he just stops flying abruptly, plummeting to the water, and vanishing into the sea.
Emma Frost The dragon's voice fills Sho Oto's ears. A booming laugh.. But, one that's of good humor. A return gesture of respect then. A promise of a rematch down the winding path that is life.. And te dragon vanishes into the depths.
Audra Meridian "Business as usual." Windrose shrugs a little, but smiles to Thunderbolt. "Been on the move a lot lately between heroing and, y'know, the real job."
Sho Oto The form of the silver giant starts to shrink down as it turns and makes sure it is at least on the roadway before finally shrinking fully. A minute or two later it glows and turns into a human of all things, fortunately fully clothed, but one that leans on a wall and slumps down to the ground. "... kami. What did I just face?" He mutters to himself, in Japanese.
