Patty Sloan The Adrenaline has worn off and now the pain is setting in. Patty got hit when the disguised sentinel bots attacked. She got hit in the back of her shoulder with a laser. Thankfully several of the X-men were present and got her to the EMS who did at a quick patch job on her. They suggested taking her to the hospital but she denied that. There were too many other people in much more immediate need than her.

Still It was suggested she talk to Joshua and the last time she saw him was at the clinic. So as everyone cleared out, Patty made her way to the Clinic in Mutant town. "Hello?" She might be drugged up with pain relievers... "Ummm is anyone Here. I hope you're not too busy." She comments feeling bad about bugging the clinic. Especially in light of the chaos that just happened not too terribly long ago. "I just umm have a small hole in my shoulder." Small in perspective at least.
Joshua Foley Thankfully for Patty, things at the clinic have been pretty quiet today. Which means it has given Joshua a chance to work on inventory. With a checklist in hand, he's making notes of things that are needed, and jotting them down as he goes along. That is until he hears a voice and glances up.

"I'm sorry the nurse on duty just went to lunch. Come into the examination room and take a seat." the young man with golden skin, who may not be as old as Patty or just a smidge older requests. "I remember you, you were the lost girl at the water park. Patty, right?" he asks as he gestures to the bed. "Up on the bed. You said your shoulder? Are you okay with removing your top? And if you need to, bra."

He opens a cabinet to hand her one of those blue paper gowns. "You can use this to cover your front, but I'll need access to the shoulder." And with that, he steps outside so that she can change. "Call out when you're done." he offers as he gets the nurse on the phone to come back.
Patty Sloan Patty nods slowly. "Yeah thats me. I've gone from being a lost girl at the water park to a sentinel practice target." She shudders. "They weren't the big ones. I thought for sure you'd be packed here with all the people who were shot up out there. I guess the EMS was really on point. I denied a trip to the hospital, not wanting to bog them down." She hops up on the bed. "The EMS did a quick patch job on me. I had a adrenaline and shock to thank for not feeling a lot of the pain until a little bit ago.

"Gotcha." She waits until Joshua steps out before she takes her top and her bra off. Quickly she puts the paper robe on and lays face down on the bed. "Okay Doctor. I am down on the bed and ready for you." She winces as the pain rolls in a bit. Its eased by the pain killers the EMS gave her but she can still feel it. The wound is really easy to find. On her left shoulder she has a bandaged area. The wound itself is a burn about three inches in diameter. Her skin is charred from it. Without the pain meds she would likely be passed out from the pain of it. "I didn't really see it, is it bad?" She folds her wings so they will be out of her way.
Joshua Foley When there's the mention of a Sentinel, Joshua winces. He's seen more than his fair share of injuries from their attacks in Genosha. "Don't have to call me doctor. Joshua's fine. Mister Foley if you want to make it seem like I'm way older than you." he comments as he returns to the room and goes to wash his hands and scrub up. "Alright, let me take a look here."

There's a light touch to Patty's wing to both move it aside and to get a reading on her. The touch is light, but she'll feel the warmth of it immediately as he considers her back. "Your vital signs are subdubed, which is to be expected. I suspect that the EMS gave you some morphine, patched the wound and sent you on your way." A sigh.

"Alright, I'm gonna remove the bandage to take a look." In the meantime, the nurse has returned and she moves to stand aside in the room. "She's here so noone wonders what I'm doing with a cute girl in a room alone." A small smirk, and he considers the wound. "Looks like a through and through. Doesn't look like it destroyed the rotator cuff, but the cauterization that the laser does actually slows healing, as it's meant to, to make it worse."

"Just be patient." Ha ha, medical humor. And now that he has the wound undressed, his hand moves to settle flatly on the skin of her back, and a warm tingle eminates from him as he moves to start to open the wound back up so that he can stitch it back together again. "You will feel a little tickle. Like little pinpricks on the skin." But that's all she'll feel, at least.
Patty Sloan Patty blushes and quickly moves her wing. "I Felt that." She smiles and then waits. As the dressing is removed, she lets out a soft cry of pain. It hurts a lot but its manageable. "How bad is it? I haven't been able to see it and no one's really told me." She relaxes a bit once the cool air hits her shoulder. "They wanted to take me to the hospital but I denied because of how many people got hurt. A lot of people got shot up all because of those horrid machines."

When Joshua puts his hand on her shoulder, she winces. She simply holds back a shout while feeling the pins and needles on her back. "Oww..." She whimpers as she feel what Josh is doing. She glances up to the Nurse who just smiles at her. She smiles back and just does her best to ignore the pain.
Joshua Foley "That's sort of what they're made for." Joshua sighs. "They're supposed to be gone, but a wild one, usually damamged, shows up once in a while." But he stops talking when she complains of pain and arches a brow. "Huh. You're not really supposed to be hurting." he murmurs, but it response, he starts eminate a soft glow to override Patty's nerves as he continues to work on stitching it. As the muscles pull and extend, the bone mends and grows back into place to give the muscle something to attach to.

"To answer your question, you're an idiot. And I mean that in the nicest way possible." Joshua comments as he works. "You were probably going to lose this arm. With the damage it had, coupled with the time without treatment, you were facing infection, which probably would have led to amputation of the arm, or worse, you becoming deathy ill. The next time this happens..." Because he's sure it will. "Xavier's has my phone number. You can contact me, and I make house calls - unless I'm in Genosha, then you'll have to come to me. But that's only for a week every other month."
Patty Sloan "That was my second encounter with those nasty machines. The first one it was tiny spider like sentinels that were doing something with machines. Didn't stop them from trying to kill people of course. Those were easy to destroy. These ones I couldn't destroy with my wind. I need to get stronger." She sighs and just rests her head on a pillow. "Thats better. Thank you for this. Its a huge help."

Then she is called an idiot. She stifles a chuckle. "I know that. I just was thinking about everyone else. You know? I got shot while getting a dozen people to safety. Thats when one of those nasty bastards shot me." She sighs. "Sorry for my language." She sighs. "I was in the area. I couldn't exactly drive like this. Add to that I'm still pretty high on morphine."
Joshua Foley "Next time, consider yourself as well. One arm and two wings will probably totally ruin your aerodynamics." Joshua points out as he pulls the blood vessels back together and works on the tissue and skin damage, "There's going to be a small dimple where you got shot for a few days, there's no fat there, so you'll need to eat healthy and well for the next few days and it will fill back out. Until then, light duty. Rest the arm when you can. I recommend a sling, but that's because I'm overly cautious."

Finally, the wound is closed and he removes his hand. "Alright. Sit up. I want to see your range of motion." he asks of her as he steps back to watch her test the arm out, his attention fully on the shoulder.
Patty Sloan Patty sighs, "I know. I just was more worried about others you know. Also four!" She blinks a few times and does a double take backward, trying to make sure nothing happened to her wings. "I have four wings." She sighs and nods as she listens to Josh's orders. "Got a sling? I will wear it for a few days." She nods, "Okay I will eat a little more. I won't do my workout for a few days to make sure I am okay."

Then she is told to sit up. She does so and follows the orders given. She rotates her arm. She is pretty good with range of motion. She really got lucky, everything considered. "Everything feels good. I will Follow orders and try not to get hurt again." She states trying to sound honest.
Joshua Foley "Looks good. Yes, four wings, and they are very pretty. Never be ashamed of them." says the golden mutant, as Joshua grins. "Just don't go throwing around bowling balls until you're ready. Nurse, if you mind setting her up with a sling and a perscription for a mild pain killer? Ibuprofin, 200 milligrams." To Patty, he explains. "Sometimes, after I heal someone, they get a phantom pain for a couple of days, I think it's just the shock of the nerves being knitted back together again. It'll go away."

"If there's nothing else, I'll step out so you can get dressed and you're free to go!"
Patty Sloan Patty smiles and nods. "Alright. Thank you Joshua. I really needed this. And sorry for being an idiot. There were just so many people going to the hospital. I didn't want to help flood the hospital. You get what I mean." She shrugs and is given the sling. She promptly puts it on and slings her arm."

"Okay thank you again Joshua! You are a real Lifesaver!" She smiles and as soon as he steps out she gets dressed. From there she heads out of the building and starts walking to her car.
