Jessica Jones While it doesn't happen a lot, Matt, if he's home, will likely recognize the remarkably standout presence Jessica Jones somehow conjures everytime, as she stumbles not overly soberly towards his door. Managing to actually miss his door in her first couple of tries, before she eventually manages to knock.
Daisy Johnson It's been quite the few busy days for Matt and Daisy. What with Daredevil actually helping out on a SHIELD mission, and getting shot... Something Daisy was still sour about. "How's the pain from the shot..?" she asks. Pizza had just been delivered, which they had neatly organized on a table with her laptop on one side and some papers on the other. Some drinks near. Just some takeout because none of them was wanting to cook tonight. So it was time for some comfort food.

"Think we are really close to tracking the source of those nazi--" A pause when she hears the buzz on the door. A roll of her eyes. "Encyclopedia salesmen again..? This isn't the time for it.." hopping out of her seat she begins walking to the door, unlocking it and starting to open it. "We aren't..." but she trails off..., noting someone that definitely doesn't seem to want to sell them anything..

"Hello." she says. Daisy is dressed down to a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Barefoot too.
Matt Murdock "It's fine, I took some time to do the meditation I taught you to help speed it along," Matt says of his wound. Which thanks to his suit had just been a lot of bruising and not an actual bullet ripping through his flesh. Still it had hurt like hell in the moment.

That knock on the door though gets a smile out of Matt. He'd recognize it anywhere even if he couldn't sense Jessica's presence in other ways as well. "That's Je-" he begins but Daisy's already got the door open.
Jessica Jones Jessica stands there, well, more like sways in a manner of constantly struggling to maintain her equilibrium while standing upright, but she's doing a fair enough job, staring at Daisy as she opens the door in pair of shorts and a t-shirt. "Errr...sorry, wrong house," Jessica murmurs an insincere apology to Daisy, and starts to walk back towards the elevator. But then she hears Matt's voice, and turns again, squinting as she tries to spot Matt, but at the moment, she's barely able to focus enough on Daisy to see even her clearly. "...no," she mutters, "no, no, no, Matt doesn't do call girls, escorts and such...so what are you?" She demands, reaching to poke a finger at Daisy's chest, and missing horribly, which causes her to stumble into Daisy unless she moves in time. "I mean....who are you?"
Daisy Johnson A brow arches, first at surprise, then finally noting that Jessica isn't exactly sober (not too hard to figure). Daisy opens her mouth to say something but stops, one hand resting on a hip when Jessica starts to back-off. "An escort..? What?" yet it's clearly someone that knows Matt which brings her to smile somewhat, even if uncertainly at what to make of Jessica.

"Do you want to come ..." Yet she trails off when there's that attempted finger poke at her. She didn't even try to move out of the way! Though at the stumbling she immediately reaches up with her arms to hold Jessica up and not let her fall if she doesn't push away from Daisy. All those instincts of not letting people get hurt, or being let down! "I am a Daisy." she then finally says, bringing Jess in if she lets her and closing the door with a foot.

"Matt?" She then calls out.
Matt Murdock Matt is already on his feet and heading over, he's in his relaxing at home outfit of sweats and a hoodie, and his glasses are off unfocused eyes fully on display. "Hey, Jess, come in, this is Daisy, she's living with me now," he says deciding dancing around that subject wasn't going to do any good. Though he can't help but quip. "And if she was an escort I wouldn't have enough to hire her anyhow."

He gives Daisy a smile before he makes formal introductions. "Jessica Jones, Daisy Johnson, Daisy, this is Jessica."
Jessica Jones "Don't touch me!" Jessica calls out at Daisy, a rather ridiculous demand, consider she was the one about to rudely poke Daisy in the chest. Still, it's quite apparent that without Daisy grabbing her, Jessica would have likely fallen face first into the floor. She's not even balanced at the moment she makes her demand, still leaning quite heavily on Daisy as she finds her footing, before eventually standing upright enough to push herself a bit away from Daisy. "Look, I'm not competition or anything, okay? You earn your pay or whatever it is you're doing, I just wanted to see Matt..." Jessica mutters, looking over Daisy's shoulder, not seeing Matt until he comes in closer. Her eyes really don't look all that much more focused than Matt's at the moment. Which is a bit of a problem. "There you are! I heard you were in," Jessica says with a bit of a stupid smile on her lips, which lingers for a mere moment. "...hold it, stop the presses and rewind," Jessica reels from Matt's casual introduction of a live-in girlfriend. "You're dating," she recaps to herself, "and your girlfriend is living with you." She takes a moment to process, before arching a dubious brow, "aren't Catholics supposed to save themselves till marriage?" She asks teasingly, still managing that apparently, even in her drunken state. Fumbling the follow up details, Jessica suddenly nods in understanding, "ahhh! I get it...you saved her from a life of prostitution and took her in? Very Murdock of you...in a Pretty Woman kinda way."

She turns to wave to the wall as Matt introduced her, before turning a little more and actual waving at Daisy, "yeah, I'm Jessica fucking Jones, nice to meet you, Daisy, really happy Matt could get you on your feet again. He's a great guy."
Daisy Johnson "Really..?" Daisy can't help herself but laugh at the being too expensive an escort, yet when Matt introduces them some semblance of recognition comes upon Daisy. Yes, she knows that name. Has Matt been telling her about Jessica?! Though the laugh gets cut off at that demand. She only sighs, knowing better than to answer back, patient while Jessica finds her footing and bearing.

But then she resumes her laughing when Jessica goes about what she imagines might have been the way they came together. "Something like that. I made sure to swoon just right and faint into his arms. It was all very dramatic." Tone clearly teasing. She gestures then, in immediate acceptance of Matt's friend. "I am just getting to the second stage of my plan of running away with the fortune. Unfortunately he only gets paid in pie. Come on, we got pizza and beer." she pads quietly across the floor, then thinks again and returns just in case Jessica needs help moving in. She did note her waving at a wall. Which is troubling enough.

"Daisy Johnson. And I am really happy too. We have known each other for years."
Matt Murdock It takes all of Matt's considerable willpower not to just burst out laughing at the situation playing out in his doorway, even so, there's a very amused look on his face as he nods, getting out of the way to let Daisy help Jessica inside. "Something like that," he says of the whole pretty woman thing. "Still haven't done the riding up in the limo with the roses yet." Apparently someone described the movie to him at some point, likely Foggy.

"But seriously come join us Jess, how's your night going?" he asks as if he can't tell by the state of her.

"And yeah, Daisy and I met in St. Agnes back in the day, reconnected more recently though." Though even then that was something that spanned the last three years.
Jessica Jones "That's awesome for you," Jessica seems genuinely happy for Daisy, alleged street walker brought into decency by the saintly Matt Murdock, "and for you, of course," she quips at Matt. At this point it's unclear if she even realized Daisey was teasing, as she laughs at her plan, "yeah....Matt's not a good target for gold digging. You need to hit up guys like Bruce Wayne or Danny Rand for it, but don't, Matt's a great guy, doesn't deserve the heartache." At the mention of Daisy having known Matt for years, Jessica squints at Matt, "as an acquaintance or a customer?" The question directed square at Matt, as if surprised he'd even pay for Daisy's alleged services in the first place.

"Well, I guess once you do the limo with the roses it'll make up for it," Jessica says as she proceeds to hold up a pointing hand, turning it about aimlessly, "the kitchen...?" She asks, hesitantly, "I think I need some coffee."

"Oh my night...?" Jessica laughs at Matt's question, "oh, it's perfect." She then turns to look at Daisy, well, at Matt, but she thinks she's looking at Daisy, "oh my god! St. Agnes? I'm so sorry about my mistake! Didn't mean to call you a hooker," and she leans in to embrace Matt tightly, only at the lack of a womanly bust, she's clued in on her mistake and takes a step back, "oh...Matt, well, Daisy, consider yourself hugged, ok?" She says while trying to look at Daisy's approximate position.
Daisy Johnson "Though in a way.., I do suppose he did save me from a few decisions." Daisy says, not hiding the fond look she shares with Matt, her smile widening while they go back to the main room where the pizza and drinks are. "And do you hear that Matt? I expect a limo and the roses next week, or else..." no mistaking that tone of hers by anything but teasing though. Well, unless one is too drunk..

But then she is making her way past towards the kitchen area, glancing at the exchange of hugs. "I have been called worse, don't worry." she brushes that off. And being the practical kind of girl she starts brewing up a coffee. Black. And certainly without any type of sugar. Someone is about to get caffeinated for real. While the water is heating up she steps back out.

"And sure, warm hugs for you too." A wink given in Jess's direction. "You know, Matt has told me about you a bit. One of his good friends. I am glad I am finally able to meet you." she resting one shoulder against the door frame, arms folding about her waist.
Matt Murdock Matt chuckles, "Sure, we can do coffee," he tells Jessica before he's hugged. He'll take it though, even if it's meant for Daisy. "Aww, I didn't know you cared," he teases lightly giving Jess a hug back, probably the only time he'll be able to do it without getting punched before he extricates himself to set up the coffee pot.

Without turning his head he says to Daisy. "Not sure if I'd get the colour right, on the roses or the limo," he grins.

"And yeah, we've known each other," a smile. "As friends for a long time now, like through three different names," he gives a smile to Daisy at that last bit. Leaving it to her to share those names with Jess or not. "And yeah, I told her a bit about you Jess, nothing bad I assure you."
Jessica Jones "That's great, he's really an anomaly," Jessica says to Daisy with a genuine grin, albeit far too happy looking due to her drunken state, "he's a guy that's not an asshole, who actually helps people, and is somehow a gentleman. I dig that about him."

It's the smell of coffee being brewed that clues Jessica in the actual direction of the kitchen, finally. "Has he? What did he say...?" Jessica asks, as if expecting terrible things, and just wants to be sure how much she has to hide and how much is already revealed. "I assure you, I'm nowhere near as terrible. And the guy I punched through my door was a creep who deserved it."

"I do, care, Matt, it's all I do...that's what makes me so nice," Jessica groans in a very unfriendly tone, as she stumbles towards the kitchen. "I'll have my coffee with coffee," she tells Daisy, before looking at Matt with a squint, "I'll be the judge of that," and then she turns right back to Daisy, "okay, spill it, what's the worse he said about me?"
Daisy Johnson "I can tell you he is not a gentleman all the time." Daisy casting a glance over at Matt, letting out a chuckle full of her amusement. And yes, she seems to like teasing Matt just as well. When Jess joins them in the kitchen she moves towards the fridge, starting to dig around it. "We were keeping the rhubarb pie for dessert." she explains. "But figure we can share with you." she brings out a box, placing it on the table and begins dividing slices. Because sharing is caring.

"Well, there was Skye. And let me tell you, I liked that name. There's also Quake too." she apparently not too worried that this particular friend of Matt's knows her identity. Then a small frown. "The third name we do not mention in civilized conversation." nope, noTremors! "And don't worry Matt. I will handle it all, the roses, the color. I will get it right."

After the slices are done it's time to finish up the coffee, serve people up. She doesn't seem to mind it at all. Sizzling hot black coffee for everyone! "I punch people for a living, they deserve it most of the times." as if she didn't particularly care about Jessica punching people around. It's a way of life! "And well, Jessica. I do recall him telling me that you have a very fond liking for chinese takeout.." her eyebrows arch up at the other woman. Or maybe she is talking about the chopsticks.
Matt Murdock There is a snort from Matt about not being a gentleman all the time as he pours the coffee and brings it to Jess. "She's delusional," he informs the PI sagely. "I am a perfect angel all the time." He looks to Daisy.

A smirk follows as Matt leans against the end of the kitchen bar, as the pie is served. "Well take out in general. I mentioned my occasional lunch visits," he explains to Jess. The last being when Detective Grayson was there sniffing around for a job and a date.
Jessica Jones "Oh, no need, I do just fine with liquids," Jessica notes, albeit currently she actually refers to coffee rather than whiskey. Or bourbon. Or vodka. Or whatever liquor. Sometime she even accepts wine when things are dire. "So what's this about Matt not always being a gentleman? What? Does he roleplay in the bedroom?" Slowly tilting her head towards Matt, "do you pretend to be Zorro?"

Jessica laughs as Daisy details the names in question, "Skye is a bit teenagery, but I can see it," she snickers at Quake, but makes no immediate quip to follow her snickering. Good choice by Daisy not to share that last one though, as Jessica ever so casually notes, "yeah, some names should never be shared." Although lucky for her, none of the present in the room have an inkling about what she means, or so she thinks at least. She'd very much like to keep it that way, so she's more than happy for all involved to think this was still about the 'Skye' and 'Quake' thing.

Reaching for the coffee mug, Jessica starts blowing on it lightly, just to cool it off enough to drink without singing her tongue. "Thanks for being a sport, Daisy, I appreciate it. Not often I openly seek coffee, but absolutely need it at the moment."

"Oh, yeah, Matt been great at making sure I take more than just liquid meals...he's a good soul like that," Jessica will give Matt all the credit in the world for that. Sometimes he's annoying, but she's been doing much better since she befriended him. That's for sure. "He's a dangerous influence too, he made me help people for free, occasionally..."
Daisy Johnson It's a good thing that Daisy still has her mug of coffee away from her because she snorts out a laugh when Jess mentions Matt roleplaying Zorro. "Oh, Gods.. No." her hand up and rubbing at her forehead. Now she has that image in her head. "Thank you a lot, Jessica.." and she finally picks up her mug, blowing on it to take off a bit of the steam and having a sip. "I ain't a snitch though so...." a look towards Matt. She is clearly amused.

The mention that her former names was teenagery makes Daisy gasps. "Teenagery..? I was..., well.., I was young at the time when I picked it. It was the raddest thing back then." fine, maybe only a bit teenagery. "And I still like it." perhaps a bit defensive there. Because she does like the name!

"What about you? Any interesting names to share?" But sure, it's casual enough, she doesn't seem to have picked up on what Jessica meant.

"And the offer for pie still stands. You won't regret it. I have been converted to it." and to demonstrate just so she steps closer to her own slice and picks on it with a small fork. "And yea, Matt is the best. But I may be biased to say it?" she grins openly. "He also told me you have a good heart." maybe -that- is the worse thing Matt could had told Daisy about Jess!
Matt Murdock "God no," Matt says of playing dress up in the bedroom. "I do enough dressing up for might night job," he says making it plain that Daisy knows about that part of his life. Devil Boy and all of that.

And it seems Matt's no snitch either, he doesn't weigh in despite sensing the look thrown his direction.

"That part is true though," he says about saying Jess had a good heart. "And Jess is right about being a bad influence, I've even been known to get her out and socialize as well." Even if it was mostly with their fellow Defenders.
Jessica Jones "You're absolutely welcome," Jessica says to Daisy with a laugh, amused herself at the visual she came up with. She nods at Daisy's excuse for not sharing what Matt shared about her, "very well, I can dig that."

When Daisy questions Jessica's verdict about the name 'Skye', Jessica grins like the cat who ate the canary. She doesn't say anything at first, letting Daisy really contemplate it. "Of course you were," she notes when Daisy agrees she was young at the time. "You're allowed to like it, I mean, some grown women are into YA fiction, right? Team Edward or Team Jacob, that kind of nonsense?" Jessica teases and laughs, before finally enjoying a sip of her coffee.

When the question is aimed back at her, Jessica snorts, "oh, heaven's no, no stupid silly name of any sort. I'm a P.I. not a superhero, it's just Jessica Jones, though I guess Alias Investigations is a unique name for an agency..." she shrugs and motions for the pie, "fine, what the heck, the least I can do is try it..." she shakes her head about suggestion of bias. "No, no bias whatsoever, you're right, Matt is the best." Jessica arches a single brow at the tidbit Daisy does share from what Matt said about her. "Well, I would sue for a libel, except I don't think you could claim that it is a hurtful statement, huh?" She slowly turns to look at Matt, smiling even, before noting, "thank you, that's a very nice thing to say, even if I don't deserve it."

Jessica laughs at Matt's response to her suggestion he might partake in bedroom roleplay. "You should give it a try Matt, a lot of people are into it, I got photographs to prove it," Jessica teases with a lewd waggling of her eyebrows, "trust me. I know." But when Matt makes the comment about his night job, Jess turns to look at Daisy in a new light, duly impressed with her, "so I see you're a very good girlfriend...how long you been dating?"

"....don't forget nearly force me on a date, where I'm supposed to actually wear a dress or something fancy like that," the fact that Jessica can equate having to wear a dress with dressing fancy, just shows how limited her fashion sense is, after all, a dress could be very well rags from the right thrift shop.
Daisy Johnson "Team Jacob all the way..." Daisy mutters, then a glance towards Matt. And while it's not as if Matt can actually 'see' her they have found other ways to communicate. This one seems to say, 'help, she's questioning all my life choices!' but then she just shakes her head a bit to herself, taking another bite of pie. Because it's delicious! "Well, I am Daisy now. So that's that." she concludes. "And that's my real name, just in case you go and wonder."

"You joined up with the Defenders. That makes you a hero in my book." Daisy says with simple logic, lifting her shoulders in a shrug. "And I already met up with Luke and the Fist."

"/Actually/ dating..." Her eyes go to Matt and she walks over to him, wrapping one arm about his waist, the other holding up her mug. "A few weeks now? But we have known each other for a long time, he helped me in very important decisions in my life." she leans over, pressing her forehead against the side of his shoulder.

"I have had some of the worse experiences in my life while in a dress." She rolls her eyes. It does bring to memory a pink dress. An infiltration. Getting hunted, having to escape while wearing such dress. Nightmare!
Matt Murdock "I'm team good literary taste, I wouldn't read Twilight with someone else's fingers," Matt chimes in good naturedly, taking a slice of pie and breaking off a piece with his fork.

"Always did wonder why that name for your agency," Matt says before offering Jess a sincere smile, "You're welcome, and it is true, at least in my experience." There he gave her an out on the whole Jessica is a good person thing.

"Yeah, a few weeks but we've seen each other off and on for since before I was Daredevil." So three years or so give or take. Smiling as Daisy joins him he puts his arm around her waist after having a bite of pie.

"And all I did was said Karen could lend you a dress, there was no forcing," Matt says, which wasn't entirely true, he knew what he was doing. "However, unlike you two I can safely say I've had no bad times in a dress, or any times for that matter. And don't go suggesting that for bedroom roleplay," the last is added to Jess, knowing she's seen a lot weirder than that in her line of work.
Jessica Jones "So you're a feral kind of girl, good to know, I'm sure Matt is liking it." Jessica gives Matt a playful wink, clearly hinting at something lewd, even if she doesn't state it out loud. "Well look at you wearing the big girl pants," Jessica says to Daisy, and somehow doesn't like she's been meaning to be derisive about it. Even though it absolutely sounds that way. "I respect that, just like I go by Jessica, it's my actual fucking name." She then looks aside at Matt, "we need to drink to that, you got some whiskey on hand?" Because Jess absolutely looks like she should be having even more alcohol...

Jessica looks at Daisey, in silence, thinking something over before giving her an amicable smile. "Thanks, Daisy, with that reasoning, I'll take it...but to be honest, full disclosure, it's Matt's fault. Entirely." She snickers when the Fist is mentioned, and immediately asks, "did you buy his story, Daisy?"

"See?" Jessica motions at Daisy while looking at Matt, "I told you dresses are the absolute worst. I don't know how Karen has so many of them." But then comes the diss at Twilight and Jessica is cracking up, "that was a good one, Matt, I almost wish I was blind just so I could borrow it. Nice burn."

She actually seems to be drunk enough to offer one genuine answer, as she turns to Matt, "didn't realize I never told you. Well, one of the worst thing you could have is fame. Trust me. So I honestly was afraid what happens if I don't fail, what happens if I make it big time? I didn't want everyone knowing the name Jessica Jones, P.I., so I figured if I call it Alias, as in just about anyone could be the principal P.I. using that alias, I could escape fame even if I make it...stupid, huh?"

But after having offered that very real, very vulnerable explanation, she also quips the usual one, "I also have to go undercover a lot, so I carry many aliases in my job," and then comes the high pitched cheerful tone Matt is familiar with by now, "hi! I'm Daphne, Mr. Rand's PA," a short pause, and a slight alteration to a very similarly upbeat tone, "I'm Cindy, like ohmighosh, I'm your biggest fan and stuff?" The common denominator? The disdain Jessica no doubt carries for those type of girls.

Jessica laughs loudly, and drunkenly at Matt's quip about having no issues with dresses, "ha! For you it's easy stuff, don't even need to remove anything, you can get right down to the sex part...I swear, that's precisely why dresses were designed, and no doubt designed by men."
Daisy Johnson Daisy simply rolls her eyes at the two of them. But she is a good sport, letting out a low rawr and making an hissy claw in Jessica's direction. "In my defense, it was a trick question! What would you say if I said Team Edward? That I liked sparkly, emo guys?" the amusement is still there on her expression though. And she chooses to ignore the request for whiskey, instead saying. "Here, let me get you more coffee." and she so helpfully pours in some more on her cup if she allows before going back to staying near Matt.

And she knows well what story Jessica is talking about. She gives her a rather doubtful look. "About punching a Dragon..?" yea, she is team skeptical on that one. "I have my doubts, but I have seen my share of things you know?" she then just shaking her head to herself slowly. Would had been quite the sight though. "What I know is that fist packs one mean punch.."

But then she is laughing at what Matt said about dresses. "Well, never say never, Matthew Murdock. Maybe one day we will get you in one." mostly ribbing him though. Her arm again going about him and she squeezing the man in a fond manner.

Then one final wink at Jessica. "But don't worry, no chance that I will be attempting to play dress-up with you and my dresses. Whatever few I own."
Matt Murdock "She also turns into a wolf," Matt supplies of Daisy letting that stand for a moment before he says, "Not really." What Daisy's powers are and if she has any at all is up for Diasy to say. "And well if you're ever blind, you're welcome to use it," he says of the burn on the Twilight books. As Daisy goes to get Jess more coffee he titls his head to the shelf above the fridge where he keeps the whiskey, though if Jess can get the bottle down right now without breaking it, that's the real challenge.

"My doubt about the dragon is definitely coming to a middle with all the weird going on these days. Apparently Metropolis almost got eaten by a shadow demon, and Superman's back alive, so dragons, are sounding less and less wild."

Speaking of wild sounding problems. "Also, got warned there are power stealing neo-Nazis out there," he pauses. "For real, it's not a Mad Lib, got some sort of device that lets them use people's powers. Anyhow, putting the word out to the Defenders as a warning and in case you guys hear anything about this stuff," he says.

Then he pauses to eat his pie and listen to Jess' story about the name of the agency. "I get it, it's the work not the person, the agency can get known and Jessica Jones is still out of the spotlight." He nods, clearly understanding that. The further explanation of the name gets a grin from Matt. He loves those voices and how they seem to take a shot at the sort of people who would use them normally. "Those are so eerie for me it's like you shapeshift when you do those." After all voice was a big part of how Matt 'saw' people.

Matt squeezes Daisy back in the same fashion, "I am definitely saying never," he says of wearing a dress, as to the theories about dresses, their uses and their origins, Matt offers a smiled "No comment."
Jessica Jones "If you'd say Team Edward, I'd offer to buy Matt some glitter foundation, so he might excite you more," Jessica winks, ever ready with a savage quip, don't you dare challenge her! Normally Jess would insist on the whiskey she asked for, but as Daisy already pours her another cup of coffee, and she's feeling too much of a headache to argue, she just settles for the coffee. "Fine...whatever, so long as it's liquid, I guess..."

"I have seen my share of things too, Daisy, none of them included a white guy punching a dragon in magic Kung-Fu land." Did we mention Jess was savage? Because she is. Not necessarily on purpose. "Feh...Superman back alive, as if, he never died and you know it. Or at least you should know, he's the real deal when it comes to superheroes." There's a surprising tinge of pain in that last statement, must be a result of all the drinking Jessica been doing tonight. Or was it today? She honestly can't tell.

"Let's put it this way, if Matt wears a dress, I'll be willing to wear one, ok? There's the challenge for you, for the time being, let's both keep out of them and be happy forever." Jessica asserts while slamming the cup into the desk, spilling a bit of coffee, before downing it as if it was alcohol.

"Didn't know you could turn into a wolf, Daisy, that must be useful," Jessica took Matt's words at face value.

"Matt," Jessica says in all seriousness as she turns to face him, actually him this time around. "You have to let me know where those fucking neo-nazis are, so I can fucking punch them in the face and kick them in the balls."

Jessica does grin as Matt explains how her play on voices make her seem in his...well...'eyes'. "That's a cool thought, so am I prettier when I talk like," pause and there it is again, "super Summer, head cheerleader and total quee bee y'all."
Daisy Johnson "You are merciless. That's what you are." Daisy says, clearly impressed with the kind of savagery going on and the shots drunken Jess takes everywhere and to everyone. Sure, Matt had told her about no filters. But it was still impressive! "And yes, totally a wolf. How do you think I conquered Matt? I bit him in the cuff and dragged him into my den. Easy." she states, all too serious. But then she just shakes her head, "Though actually, no. I don't do anything as exciting as that. I can control earthquakes, or vibrations if you will. Hence the name Quake." a pause before she adds. "Full disclosure though, I also work with SHIELD." better to get it all out there!

"And about that shadow demon, yea... One of these days remind me to tell you guys about the disco death ball we used." She was still wondering how -that- had worked. But she knew better than not to trust her R and D department! Not that the twinge of pain goes unnoticed by Daisy. She furrows a brow but makes no comment.

"You play a great cheerleader, Jess. A natural almost." but she could notice the derisiveness she placed on the tones. "I like you, Jessica. No filters on you."
Matt Murdock "Stranger," Matt opines on how Jess looks when she uses that cheerful sing-song voice. "Like some cheerleader just wandered into the room or something."

Despite starting with that remark he hasn't missed the others, "We can only hope to be half as good," he says of Superman, catching that hint of pain in Jess' voice and frowning curiously at it but saying not pointing it out.

As for the rest? Chat on it, with promises of Nazis being punched and more dunking on Danny and his magic dragon.

All in all it was a good evening.
