Owner Pose
Ted Kord Ted Kord enters his living room, looking the worse for wear. He has a bandage around his forehead. His right arm is in a sling that matches the binding on his shoulder and torso. Exiting the kitchen he searches for any sign of a nanotech murder machine, last seen wearing a cute outfit. Holding a cup of coffee and a few cookies in his offhand and therefore awkwardly, he staggers a little towards his chair. "I have to figure out how to spin this so she doesn't freak..." He plops down a little too fast and groans.
Swath     "Spin wh... what happened to you, Master?" asks Swath as her contralto rises a couple of octaves. Stepping over to you, she re-settles the chair and... sort of presses you down into it. Her strength is, well, superhuman. It's not like she has anything on, say, a kryptonian but she could probably lift a car.
Ted Kord Ted Kord was sitting down or trying to and oofs again. "Master? Since when did I get a promotion to Master from Mr. Kord or Ted-san. Easily easy girlzilla. The crazy man who tried to kill me previously came to try again. Booster and Vic saved my behind but he nearly blew me up and got a stab in before Vic dropped him. Listen... I have to make arrangements for you, okay? The way you listen to me, trusty me?" He reaches out to take a tiny hand. "If anything happens to me... you go to Vic or Booster Gold understand. If you have a choice... go to Vic. If not... listen to Booster's AI Skeets. Booster... I love him like a brother and when his back is far enough through the wall, he will do the right thing. He needs to grow up a little. Vic is probably the wisest of us. Do you understand?"
Swath     "I'm working as your cook," says Swath as she scratches her cheek lightly and her saffron skin darkens with a blush, "I saw on the internet how that basically makes me your maid. I should probably be wearing one of those maid uniforms, right?" She blinks then, "You say all of this so nonchalantly. They dropped him? Good. It will make it easier for ME to drop him... off the side of a building... " She pauses when you speak, but pulls up your shirt to see where you are sore. "Go to Vic, the wisest. Or else go to Booster who must be pushed through a wall to do the right thing."
Ted Kord Ted Kord chuckles a little. "I am... in America we don't address an employer as 'Master'. I am not comfortable with you addressing me as Master. Having an AI means you are either a parent-slash-mentor or a slave owner. And you are a companion as well as cooking for me. It's not like you've gotten a paycheck yet. I'm working on how to do that. And you are not to take any action against this man unless he is a danger to others, which he is not. He's very sick. It's tragic. I feel sorry for him. There's enough killing in this wicked world. Swath, you have to be twice as kind, twice as merciful than all the rest of us because AIs to come will be judged by you. I think this whole battle mode you go into is not you. You're sweet. And that is rare in anyone. You remind me of my friend Tora..." His hand slips off hers and rummages in a pocket. It comes out with a bottle of pills.
Swath     "Thank you, Ted-san," says Swath softly as her contralto drifts on a note that is wistfully soft like wind through reeds. "I may not have gotten a paycheck, yet, but you are letting me stay here free of charge. I eat too. A lot." She nods and sighs, "I do not know what is me, or is not me. I... have vague memories of being a real girl. I know her name is Nagi. But that is all mixed and mingled with the years in the lab, when I was held and tested... " She purses her lips, "I do, however, know that what I have here is good. It is important. And I must... MUST protect that. Protect you."
Ted Kord Ted Kord pops a pill and swallows. "I may have exaggerated with Booster. If he gets full of himself... just say, '/Booster!? what would Ted say?' That'll get his act together. If he's still carrying on call him 'Green Lantern'. And this guy got the drop on me this time but please don't think it will happen again. I'm taking steps. All my defense strategies involved Despero or Doomsday coming to kill me. It left a maniac sized hole in the works."

"Your loyalty means a lot. I'm glad you are happy here. So do me a favor and smile now. I'm alive, I don't plan on dying. We're good." Maybe it's the muscle relaxants or pain killers but Ted tries to mush Swath's face into a smile. Gently. "As soon as I can we'll take on some bots or zombies or other soulless monsters you can unload into. But for now smile."
Swath     She does smile. She doesn't flinch from the touch, obviously trusting you as you try to mush her face into a smile. She smiles a quiet smile, though her all-too-very-human eyes show worry. "All right, Ted-san. Just understand that goes both ways; You are happy that I am here. And *I* am happy that you are here." She sighs quietly and pats your hand against her cheek with her own palm. "I do think some... expressions of agression are in order, yes. I... am not sure if I would call it a 'battle mode', but I do have a part of me that feels the call of battle."
Ted Kord Ted Kord nods. "That's nice. I'll try to keep things comfortable around here. I think I'm going to close my eyes for a bit... these are strong meds." He puts the bottle back in his pocket after a brief search. "Anyway remember what I said about who to go to if I'm... not around. If you can't reach us... got to the Justice League or the Avengers. Both of them have has AI members..." He trails off as his eyelids shut.
Swath     After a few minutes, a blankt is drapes around you and a pillow fitted to prop your neck. She could easily carry you to your bed, but she has some eye to your dignity. The young woman is quiet as she makes sure you are tucked in and then heads into the kitchen to start dinner.
