Donna Troy     It has been a few days since any of the Titans heard from Supergirl. She had last been seen during a mission with Nightwing and Knockout, heading out over the bay with an exploding laser.

This is not entirely true - several of the Titans had seen Supergirl at the Themysciran embassy, though she had not been Supergirl then. Before that meeting, the Titans had spent some time trying to locate Supergirl, concerned she may be somewhere at the bottom of the bay after being caught in an explosion. Scans of the sea bed had been done with sonar and magic, and shown no signs of her. A sonic boom had been detected in the upper atmosphere at about the right time to assume Supergirl had left the scene after the explosion, presumambly in one piece and un-drowned. The T-Sub had been dispatched for a search and rescue effort, but at that point it was more an excuse to get the T-Sub out of mothballs and check it was still working properly, and there was little expectation of finding a wet Kryptonian.

The current status of Supergirl, as far as the Titans are concerned, is 'missing, presumed safe'. The exact basis of this presumption may or may not go beyond the lack of a body and the presence of a sonic boom, but if so there's no more detail on the files. Perhaps she just doesn't want to be found; Donna has apparently decided there is nothing to worry about, anyway.

In Supergirl's case, anyway. There's always something to worry about. Donna sits, with her legs crossed, on the big couch in the main room, a tablet in her hand, finger tapping away at her chin, deep in thought. She's working on a weekly update report. She'd prefer to be in the Danger Room, punching things. Nevertheless, this needs to be done. The Titans is a big group these days, and you can't just rely on everyone to have picked up on what's going on.
America Chavez America walks into the room with a very large plate of food, a huge steaming pile of nachos to be precise, and a huge stein filled, not with alochol, but rather with Dr. Pepper.

She walks over, half-flops (but carefully so as not to spill) on the other side of the couch of Donna, "You know," she says, setting the plate in her lap which allows her to grab the remote so she can turn on the screen and see what's on, "You really should relax more. You look like an old lady when you scrunch up your eyes like that," she teases.

And, she begins to channel flip, "We should fight sometime," she then says, cheerfully as if fighting Donna would be -fun-, rather than dangerous. She turns her head to meet Donna's eyes, nacho poised in hand, "Could maybe learn a thing or two from you. Could always use a new way to kick someone's ass, you know."
Dick Grayson Nightwing is in the tower tonight. He has been kept rather busy, recently, between duties in Gotham and Bludhaven, let alone his Titans duties. But he still makes an effort to visit. The eldest Robin comes down into the main room, stretching his neck, having finished a shift on monitor duty.

"Hey!" Dick says to Donna and America as he sees them. "Hope you all are doing all right?" He asks after hopping over to the kitchen to grab a large glass of water for himself, sipping from it as he returns. "You guys doing all right?"
Mary Bromfield Thunderbolt comes in from upstairs, "Hey, no word yet?" She sounds... well, not exactly concerned, mainly because Kara is pretty tough. But she is a little worried, more for Donna from the looks of it as she regards her, then she looks over at America.

"Well, you haven't tried to spar with /me/ yet." She grins cheerfully, then makes her way over, stealing a nacho from America's plate as she sits down in a nearby chair. Her eyes flicker back towards Donna, concern for the Amazon lurking there.
Kara Danvers It's one of those rare days where the sky is dark, threatening rain or storm but never quite delivering. Supergirl hovers just beyond the clouds looking down at the Titans Tower. She turns her T-com back on after a few days away suffering some serious emotional rollercoaster. First at her own trauma, then at her cousins, and again as they discussed the state of Kandor.

What she needed, Kara decided, was to embrace Kara Danvers a little more, as a way to escape the stresses and dangers of being Supergirl. There was so little time to simply be Kara Zor-El, perhaps as Kara Danvers should could find some time out. But the Titans as a whole were unaware of Kara Danvers.

She touches down on the roof of the Titans Tower, dressed in her usual blue, red, and gold uniform. Her blonde hair flowing over her shoulders like a veil. Her hands behind her back as she drops down the empty elevator shaft and steps out in to the main room. She has returned and has an apologetic smile upon her face. She seems well at least, though is holding herself in a posture of serenity and quietness, like the enlightened has returned from the tallest of mountain peaks.

"/ehrosh :bem/ Greetings Titans," the young woman says.
Dawn Granger Wheelie overnight bag clicking over the threshold behind her, Dawn stops, backlit in the elevator door then rolls into the room. She backs her bag over to a corner out of the way before going into the kitchen area, passing Dick then someone with a mouth-watering plate of nachos next to Donna.

"Hi. Evening. How's everyone?"

The other elevator door opening draws attention to it. Kara's appearance behind her seems to rivet everyone's attention. It does hers. She can feel the other's concern for her without having the slightest idea why. With a glance at the others, she raises a hand, shyly, aware of being a newcomer, "Hi, Kara! Ah. /eeh-rosh/."
America Chavez "Princess Crackaboom," America greets Mary, telling the other girl, "DId you know at least in four different dimensions stealing nachos off someone's plate is a capital offense?" A warning glance, friendly and mostly playful, is shot Mary's way before she lifts her hand. "Hey, Nightwing. Long time no see."

And, she seems about to ask who Dawn is, and greet the other girl when Supergirl shows up, and takes center stage. "Well, no mistaking who you are," she says after a few moments. "Welcome back, Supergirl. And, hi. America Chavez," she tells the other heroine. She looks impressed enough, at least initially, to pause on her nacho-nomming to be polite.
Donna Troy     Donna looks up from her tablet when America comes over to join her, and beams a broad grin at the teasing. "Reports. Someone's gotta do this stuff," she says in her defense. "There's so /many/ of us these days. Back in the day when something was going on, everyone just knew. These days I spend a lot of time introducing Titans to other Titans. It's weird."

She does put the tablet down though, and stretches. "Yeah, let's do that. I'm always up for a bit of sparring!" she replies with a grin. It /will/ be fun! Donna loves training and sparring. "And I'm always happy to pass on a few tips to anyone. Well anyone on the right team, anyway. I've been training in the Themysciran fighting arts since I was six, and if I can share my experience with my team-mates I am more than happy to!

Dick arrives, and is closely followed by Mary, and Donna concludes that work is just not going to happen right now. Or at least it's a good excuse. She shuts off the tablet and greets the pair with a smile. "All good, Nightwing. You? Gotham keeping you as busy as usual? Thunderbolt. You know, I've been thinking it might be a good idea for a few of the heavy hitters to take a trip on the T-Jet into orbit for some training where people can really cut lose, you up for that?"

A response to Mary's questioning after Kara proves unnecessary, because at that moment the Kryptonian herself arrives.

"Supergirl," Donna says with a smile. "We were worried, you know." She hops to her feet to go to greet Kara. "Everyone's free to come and go as they like, but please Kara - if you need some time to yourself don't take off without a word when you were last seen in the middle of an explosion in future. We've been worried. You could have saved us the effort of scouring the sea-bed with a quick message, you know?" She doesn't exactly seem angry about the admonition though, a point emphasised when she moves in for a quick hug.

Apparently she's not going to make a thing of it either, because with this complaint delivered, she turns to Dawn with a nod and a smile. "Hey there. Hungry? We seem to be developing a crowd. Maybe we could order pizzas or something."
Mary Bromfield Thunderbolt grins over at America, "Whatcha gonna do about it, America?" She looks positively chipper at her successful nacho theft, then smiles warmly over at Supergirl, "Hey, you're back! Glad to see you're okay." She waves over at the new arrivals, focusing her attention on Dawn.

"Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Thunderbolt." She gives Dawn a friendly smile, "Don't think I've seen you around before, but then the Titans have so many people, I'm not sure I'll ever meet everyone." She glances back over towards Nightwing, giving him a grin, "Oh, and hey, how are you doing?"
Dick Grayson Nightwing nods to Thunderbolt as she arrives, "Doing all right, 'bout you?" Donna and America each get a nod, "Yeah, Gotham keeps me busy a lot anymore, but you guys are stuck with me," he grins and nods to America, "Same to you!" He takes a sip and leans up against the wall.

Supergirl's arrival gets a nod and a smile, "Supergirl, glad to see you. Hope you've been doing all right?" His voice bears some concern, though tinged with relief as she is doing all right. Dove gets a wave and a nod, "Hey! Glad to see you around, enjoying everything so far?"
Kara Danvers Kara lifts her chin a little bit as she is inundated with greetings, a small crinkle at the edges of her eyes indicates her delight at this adopted family she has come to know. And there are more new people, which she likes as well. She tries to make it a little easier for Dawn to say, "eh-ro-sh n-be-m." Her hands slip out from behind her back and she waves in return to Dawn.

Supergirl has a presence about her, partly a societal expectation because of Superman's great deeds, but also party that's just who she is. She has to work to hide it when she's Kara Danvers. The House of El was always a force to be reckoned with back home and that's no different on Earth.

"/bem shovuh/ America Chavez," she replies to her with a friendly smile. She gets one step in to the room before she is returning a hug to Troia and whispers to her, "It was not intentional. But I am mending."

Kara raises an eyebrow, "You scoured the sea-bed for me?" She looks but adoring and surprised at the same time that her team would do that. She nods to Mary and says, "It's good to be back." She looks to Nightwing and nods her head again, "I have been better. I'm glad both you and Knockout are okay though." Not that Knockout is around, but 'somehow' she knows she's alright.
America Chavez America raises a nacho covered in cheese, onions, bell pepper, jalepeno, and chorizo up to Kara like one might offer a glass of wine in a toast. "Glad to finally meet you, Supergirl. I'm new, still on the tryout roster, but I'll make it sooner rather than later. Everyone here's pretty fun. Too bad Cybog's not here. Probably still playing with that tech-scrap he got after we trashed some Doombots." She grins, widely, glancing knowingly at Mary.

"Anyways, really good to meet you, finally!" Chomp. She devours the nacho with that, as if the ritual were completed and looks over, then, to Dawn.

"Haven't met you either," she says, offering her name yet again. "America Chavez." Given the apparel she's wearing, red, blue, and white, stars and stripes, it's not a bad guess to think that is probably her costume, too. Or at least, one of them.

"You can never have enough friends," she says, sincerely, but with a smile. Then, she offers Mary another nacho or three off her heaping pile, as people are met, and the small pocket of friends she's made here seems to get even bigger. She seems quite good with that.
Dawn Granger Something went down while Dawn was at school; the concern for Kara and relief at her return is palatable. And, no wonder, Kara brings that out in people. Witness her taking the time to correct her pronunciation. The young woman repeats the greeting quietly to herself, unwilling to call Kara's attention away from her friends and teammates.

Eyes widening at Donna's mention of ordering pizzas, "Oh, yes. Absolutely. Do you have someone on speed dial? I can do it if you tell me what to order.

"Hi, America, I'm Dawn or Dove, whatever you'd like?" She shrugs, grinning at the idea of being called Dove, happy to be among the Titans.

While she waits for Donna's answer, "Hey, thanks, Nightwing. I've been here on weekends since classes started - trying to get settled here and there."
Donna Troy     "Understood. If you want to talk in private I'm always here for you Kara," comes Donna's whispered response during the hug, quiet enough that probably only Supergirl will hear it.

"Scouring may be too strong a word for it," Donna says more loudly as she moves around the kitchen area to fetch herself a drink. "We had the advantage of magic and the help of an Atlantean which helped a lot. And we picked up something unlisted breaking the sound barrier shortly after you disappeared. Don't worry, Supergirl. We won't tell the DEO." Donna flashes Kara a wink.

"Dawn is our newest recruit, everyone. Though in an odd sort of way she's... well, she's the new Dove. Dove used to be a member of the team way back. Apparently it's a role that gets passed on, and this is who it got passed on to. The previous Dove was... special. If the entities who decide these things picked Dawn, I'm pretty sure she's going to be a great addition to the team. Dawn? We have not only speed dial but a 'regular order'. If you ask Wendy or Marvin, the tower systems AIs, they'll put in the order. "

Donna bites her lip throughtfully, a little disturbed by Mary's comment about not knowing everyone's names, however joking it may have been. She glances towards Dick, suspecting he may be feeling something of the same thing. "You'll meet everyone, Thunderbolt," she says. "That's... look guys, we are growing fast. I know it's hard to keep track. But what makes the Titans what it was... and what it is and will be, is friendship. We have always been a very tightly-knit group. It... it helps a lot. I know it's all pretty confusing right now with the rapid expansion, but have faith. Get to know everyone as best you can, and we'll make sure there are plenty of opportunities for socializing. Train together, eat pizzas together, spend time together. Believe me, it makes you feel a lot more confident going into a dangerous situation with people you know are your friends."
Mary Bromfield Thunderbolt grins at Donna, "That'd be pretty good, and wait, Dove... that sounds familiar." She looks over at Dawn, tilting her head, "Lord of Order, right? Well, not you, but your patron." Her eyes light up a bit as she nods at Dawn, "That's really awesome."

She does take the offered nachos from America, flashing a grin to the Latina, "Yeah, we did take down those Doombots pretty easy. Makes me wonder what he was really up to. Especially since he wanted to leave his stupid blimp downtown." She shakes her head, "What a sore loser."

She nods over towards Donna once again, "And I'm always down for getting to know teammates better. Especially if we can dust off the training room some and work on some scenarios."
Dick Grayson "We're fine," Nightwing says with a nod, "Worst was having to get the bike fixed, the thief we can deal with later." He gives her a smile, "Been there before, though. If you need anything, you let me know. Even if it's just someone to yell at as a lightning rod of hate." His tone betrays his seriousness.

Nightwing nods to Dove, grinning at the pizza references. "It takes a bit, but you'll get used to it, trust me." Donna gets a nod, "It takes time, it will be a little rough, but we'll get there." He sighs and takes a drink, "But at least things could be far worse, I'm glad you all are here."
Nadia Pym-van Dyne Nadia wanders in actually wearing her Waspette suit though the helmet is off. It's a bit unusual when she isn't on a mission of some sort but not unheard of.

"Bike fixed?" Her attention immediately gravitates towards the words relating to things within her wheelhouse. "Did something happen?"
Kara Danvers Kara's eyes flit around the room and she nods to the nacho cheersing from America, her small smile growing a little bit more. She clears her throat and begins to speak with a captivating tone, "Some of you I have only just met and don't know well, but you're here and you're special and amazing. Others I have known a while now and you have gotten to know part of me well. But this last ordeal has left me realising that I need to make a change in my life."

She pauses for effect. Giving speeches is something she's building up on. She steps further in to the room. "There are currently only two people on this beautiful planet that I can truly be myself around and that must change, for the sake of my own mental health. The Titans has become more than just a group of friends for me, it has become family too. So I wish to share with you all more about me."

She tucks her hands behind her back again and lifts up the tip of her boot momentarily as she glances down to it, "The DEO has advised me not to go ahead with this, but I'm sorry, this is my life and I must live it the best way I can." She pauses once more and says, "I have been living three lives. There is the first life, one a few of you know exist. The me before I even came to Earth, the me that is really me - an alien. My name is Kara Zor-El, daughter of Zor-El and Alura Zor-El." She twists her lips to the side with raised eyebrows and spreads her hands, "That is, this is me. Not Supergirl. Supergirl is another of my lives I have been living. The version of me who tries very hard to show no fear, to show no weakness, to bring hope to as many in this world as I can. Supergirl is.. who I think my mother was."

She takes a deeper breath, puffing out her cheeks momentarily and then says, "And then there is the third version of me, the one concocted with the help of my cousin and the DEO. My secret identity. I know I have been very tight lipped about my life outside of the Titans. I know I am very hush hush about my work with the DEO even though most of it ends up in newspapers and on television. But I have come to realise I need down time with my friends. I do not wish to hide myself from you any more. And you are the friends who can save themselves if danger comes looking for Supergirl."

Those who track the way Supergirl speaks may notice she is using contractions all of a sudden. Though, she still sounds kinda Swedish. She disappears from the room at super speed and just as quickly returns wearing jeans, a loose knit brown sweater, glasses - and has brunette hair. She presses her lips together, "Hi. I'm Kara Danvers, and I would absolutely love some pizza." Kara Danvers somehow seems to far less 'presence', but that body of steel is still there underneath the lazy looser fitting clothes.
America Chavez America, mouth full of delicious nacho flavor, waves instead of verbally greeting Nadia when she wanders in. She moves the nacho plate onto the coffee table in front of herself, offering to share it with her friends despite her original intent to consume it all herself while binge-watching some television.

After swallowing, she claps, briefly, at Kara, giving Supergirl a smile of approval. She says, "I get why you'd hide all that, Kara," sincerely. "It's - different here. But, I'm from a different dimension, myself. Not even an alternate dimension. An entirely different one. So, I'm just America. Here. And out there. I can't imagine how hard that is. But I get why you'd do it. We just met, so," she ventures, putting on serious face as she sits forwards, elbows on knees and somber expression on her features, "I appreciate your trust. And, I promise you," she sits up, double-tapping her heart with her fist, "I will earn that trust with you. With all of you. I chose this dimension because it has something -special-. And I want to help defend it. With all of you. And keep it safe."
Dawn Granger Talking to the AIs. Welcome to the future, Dawn Granger. With a smiling nod to Nightwing, she moves closer to Mary and America settling on the couch's edge.

"Hey, hi. It's been," she spreads her hands, eyebrows arcing at the immensity of explaining what it's like to have superpowers dropped on you without a by your leave, "interesting. People have been....well, it was hard, meeting me, I think. It is something that's passed on, yes. Everyone has been so kind."

Then, Kara bravely tells them about herself. Head tilted to the side, head bobbing on occasion at how problematic having more than one life can be, Dawn listens raptly. America says a lot of what she is thinking. "Nice to meet you, Kara Danvers. Thank you for that, for showing us how to do it. Though I'm new, I don't think you could have picked a better group of people to be yourself with."
Donna Troy     "Who'd want to yell at you, Nightwing?" Donna asks with mock-horror. "You're far too nice." She gives him a quick wink, before continuining the mock-horror expression in Mary's direction. "Dust off?" she repeats with disbelief. "There's no dust in there! I run training sessions every day, you know! Spend some more time in there and you'll see we do plenty of scenarios, not just Brainiac drones."

It's possible there are those who, since the Brainiac invasion, have been avoiding Donna during training sessions. She was relentless.

When it becomes clear just what Kara's speech is turning into, Donna moves subtly closer, just there for a little moral support, and gives Kara's arm a quick squeeze half way through. She remains quiet though, until Supergirl disappears and Kara Danvers appears. "Congratulations Kara," she says quietly, barely above a whisper. Then back to normal volume, "I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thank you for placing your trust in us." Her eyes cast around the group. "We are honored, Kara. To have share your secret, and to have you as part of the team. As our friend. I am glad that you feel comfortable enough to relax around us. We will keep your secret, do not worry."

If Kara had been expecting an 'I knew it!', it's not coming. She does receive a knowing smile from Donna though.
Mary Bromfield Thunderbolt blinks at Kara, and smiles, "Thanks for the trust, Kara. I appreciate it a lot." She pauses, then looks around at the others, as if realizing that isn't something she's exactly shared with anyone here.

So, she looks over at Donna, "I'm not sure if Nightwing wants me breaking more drones, though! I mean, I could pretty easy I suppose, but it's definitely nice to work as a team. Like when America and Victor and I fought the Doombots." She gives Nadia a warm smile when she arrives, waving in her direction.
Dick Grayson Nightwing looks over to Nadia and waves, "Hey, Nadia! I got it fixed. A bank robber did a number on it, but it's not the first time and probably won't be the last." He then is paying attention to Kara's speech and stands silently, respecting the fact that she has the floor and uses it to good effect.

It takes a moment for him to process it all, though her third form is one that he recognizes and raises a brow, though he is quick to lower it. I guess that made them even in terms of who knows who. He does look to her and steps forward and says, "Kara," it takes a moment for him to say it, mainly because it was new at that point. "I understand the need for secrecy, but also the burden it bears. Whichever you prefer, I will support it. Thank you for sharing that with us, for trusting us." He smiles in support. "You are one of us and we will be here for you, though I will admit I had no idea you were Kara Danvers." He smiles again.

Donna's comment gets a chuckle, "You'd be surprised." He grins and winks back, to Donna, and then says to Thunderbolt, "Though I would not be mad if you broke more drones, though glad teamwork worked well against the doom bots, it does seem to be effective."

America gets a nod, "I fully believe you will. Same for you, Dove. And everyone else," Nightwing relaxes a little and takes a drink.
Nadia Pym-van Dyne "Oh good." Nadia smiles brightly at Nightwing, "I'm glad you got it fixed. If you need some help with it again, I'm a pretty good mechanic." she winks.

And then Kara makes her speech and that's a lot to take in. She blinks a few times, "Wow, I never really thought about it that much, I've never really been anything other than Nadia. That has to have been hard, Kara?" She ventures seemingly not sure which name to use now. "I'm glad you decided to share this, I think the Titans are really like family, too."
Kara Danvers Kara smiles warmly, a familiar smile for those who know her well. "I knew you'd all be wonderful about this. It - I'm not just Supergirl. I lost my whole planet, almost all of my family. Recently I felt that trauma hit me harder than it ever has before. I had almost forgotten what that terror and panic felt like. This was a fresh reminder that not all wounds heal with the touch of the sun. I appreciate you all, new, newish, and old friends."

She continues, "And if anyone does not know my secret identity but happens to wander in to the Tower and see me as Kara Danvers. I'm a journalism student at Metropolis University and I'm here doing interviews and am a friend of the Titans in general. Easy." She places a hand on Troia's arm and a hand on Nightwing's shoulder. It's now a thing to feel the strength of Supergirl adorned in very human attire. "I am. I'm truly sorry I worried you all so much," she says and adds, "I must honour who I am, so in the company of those who know who I am - please, call me Kara. Or if you want to sound more formal, Kara Zor-El. Despite everything, I wear my fathers name with pride."
America Chavez America frowns, about hearing about Kara, and her planet. She says, gravely, "My entire dimension was almost wiped out. My mother saved it but they were smeared across the universe in their sacrifice. I vowed to protect other places, to make sure nothing like that ever happens again." She nods, on some level feeling a connection to Kara, there.

She inhales, deeply. Exhales, deeply. Then, nods to Kara, agreeing to conform to her wishes without hesitation. "Anything we can do," she agrees, wholeheartedly. "And, hey. Help yourself to some nachos while they're still warm." She takes some for herself, grinning. Nothing like comfort food, right?

"Looks like I picked the right team to join."
Dawn Granger "Pizza. I'm going to talk to the AIs and order pizzas for everyone." Dawn walks in the kitchen so she is not talking over everyone. "Wendy, can you bring in the standard pizza order for six of us. No, make that eight, in case someone else shows. Thanks!"
Donna Troy     "Certainly, Dove," Wendy's gentle synthisized voice chimes out over the intercom. "The order has been placed with Giorgio's pizza. They will deliver to the tower within half an hour. I will alert you when they arrive.

"Being here for each other is why this team started in the first place," Donna says. "Doing what we do is not easy. Having the support of friends who have your back, not just in the fight against evil but in our own personal battles, makes it a whole lot easier. Secret identities are a complicated question and one each of us has to find our own answers to."

"For some of us it's a choice we have to decide on our own. For others it is something that we don't really have a choice in." She glances towards Dick - although she knows his identity, most here do not. Her own secret identity is a secret no longer, but there was a time it pained her to keep it. "But all of you, whether I know your real names or not - it does not matter to me. You are my team-mates, and you are my friends. I don't need to know your names to know who you really are. If you wish to reveal yourselves or not, you all have my full support, and I will always be here for you."
Dick Grayson "Sounds good!" Nightwing says to Nadia, and then nods to Kara as she places the hand on his shoulder and he returns the gesture, though not at the same strength because well... human. "Don't apologize. You did nothing wrong and I will continue to believe so. You did what you needed to do, and I am glad you are here and happy to talk with us." He nods with a smile. He looks to America, "Also nachos are /never/ a bad call. Ever." His tone is light.

"Donna is right," Nightwing notes and returns the glance, "For some it is complex. But I will always respect you all for whatever decision you make regarding it, and like she said. You're one of us and that doesn't wash out." He grins and nods about the Pizza.

Nightwing then grins and says, "Dibs on some 'za without pineapple."
Nadia Pym-van Dyne "Near as I can tell nachos are one of mankind's great inventions, up there with the wheel and alternating current." Nadia concurs.

She seems to be in agreement with the other sentiments, too. "We all have complicated situations, it's really... nice to have others who can actually understand what it's like sometimes, even a little bit."
Kara Danvers Kara replies to America, "Your whole universe? I can't even imagine. I'm sorry about your mother America." She does join her though for the solidarity and the nachos. The two go hand in hand sometimes. "You really did. The Titans are wonderful." She plucks out some natchos and eats. Some of the cheese drops to the table and she chuckles, "Oops."

There is a long nod from Kara to Donna, "It is exactly that Troia. I appreciate this family so much. And if those weird alien weapons that guy had at the bank circulate more widely, we'll need to work as a team more than ever." She teases Dick a little, "I can't believe you let that smarmy guy get away."
America Chavez "Mothers. Both of them," corrects America, though neither painfully or upset. It's more with an accepted loss, and pride. Then she exhales, "But, enough about that."

To those who mention their love of nachos, America gestures, "Help yourselves. I just didn't realize I was making a party plate when I did," she chuckles, warmly.

Then, she teases Dick, to Kara, "That's because he didn't have me there to knock some sense into him, I guess. Though, to be fair, he did see the invisible SOB, or rather, noticed something that said he was there. I completely overlooked it, when I first fought with him. That was pretty slick," she praises.

"Glad the party went so well for you the other night, ladies," she says to Donna. "You ladies really kicked some butt. Figuratively, I mean." Of course, she's referring to the the announcement and gala at the Themyiscarian Embassy. The rest of you should've been there. Was pretty fun."
Donna Troy     "Don't worry, Nightwing. The AI filters out any order with pineapple automatically. Unless that got removed again. It's kind of a war sometimes." Donna flashes a grin at Nightwing.

She leans over the back of the couch to nab a couple of Nachos from America, giving her shoulder a quick squeeze in passing. "Nadia's right, we are all complicated. I guess a complicated life is one of those things that leads people here. I know that I was really struggling to find myself a place here in the World of Men when I met Nightwing and the others. The Amazons are my family - and I'm glad you had a good time at the Embassy - but you guys are my family too."

"It's a worry, Kara," Donna says with a nod. "We can expect to see more dangerous gear in the hands of the wrong people thanks to Brainiac. I wonder though - given how much he networked things, perhaps it will be possible to remotely disable much of it. Vic's work on the Brainiac OS may continue to be useful to us even with Brainiac gone."
