Emma Frost     "Welcome to Super Match Game." The fanfare begins to play as the lights begin to flash on and off rapidly as the gameshow flairs to life. The new guest hostess walks out on stage wearing a pair of white pumps that slip under the hem of a neutral charcol pant suit. Emma Frost with her hair allowed to curl lazily around her face and shoulders, steps up with a microphone held up to her lips and she gives it a smile but aimed at the camera. "Welcome back to Super Match Game, it's been some time and yes, there is a current guest hostess tonight. Me, Emma Frost." She says with a smile, motioning the camera towards the panelists,

"Welcome our celebrities tonight, the amazing, Nick Drago, Hank Pym, Diana Prince, Pantheon, Shazam, and amazingly Power Girl." Emma says with a motion towards them all and gives a smile, "Well be talking to each of you later in the show. First we need to introduce the contestants."

Emma turns and crosses the stage slowly towards the twin desk the two will be playing on as it spins around to face the cameras and the audience who applauds them. "Welcome our two contestants..."
The Joker Contestant one is a tall, whip-thin man with pale white skin, shiny green hair, and bright red lips twisted into a wide smile. He wears a purple and green suit, carefully pressed, a thin tie and a flower on his button hole. There's a little name take that says 'JOE KERR'.

It's a little tasteless, really.

"Hello." Joe Kerr says into the microphone. "I suppose I'd better, ah hah, explain myself. I'm a member of the American clowning, japery, and hilarity society. Part of our mission is to work to take back the bad reputation of this particular 'face'; slap first designed by the legendary Johnny Three-Waist in 1909, during the Vaudeville days. It's association with a certain self proclaimed super-criminal is, as far as we can determine, a cruel accident on a respectable clowning tradition."

"Thank you for your understanding." Joe Kerr says, that pleasent little smile seemingly stitched on his face.
Jon Kent      Jon let the 'Joker' go before him, and while he had his sip of a Soder-Cola. When it was his turn, the camera pointed at him.

Contestant number two is a wiry young teen, shaggy black hair, and deep blue eyes. His hoodie has a distinct 'S' symbol on it, but it's most definitely not a costume, moreso a young man's zip-up hoodie. "Well, I guess that makes me Superboy!" A short chuckle from Superboy as Jon's blue eyes twinkled a little while he smiled at the camera. "And I'm here playing for the Metropolis Food Bank. The nice folks from WMET thought I should be on here after they did a story about my food drives for the hungry."

"I hope everyone has a good time and we can get the Food Bank a healthy shot of funding!" Its so sweet, he just might give you diabetes.
Emma Frost     "Lovely meeting you two, I wish you both a great game." Emma says as she turns away, and with a look towards the camera she gives a large pantomime frown. She then walks over towards the panelists, and looking at the top row.

"Well, tell us who you are and a bit about yourselves, bottom row, we'll get you at the start of the next round."
Michael Hannigan Seated top left, looking rather small compared to those in Muscle Row below, is a wild haired man wearing a black t-shirt. Taking advantage of the leg room provided by being on the end, the man is leaning back. The right arm is lifted and bent back to allow for him to rub at the back of his neck while exposing the old scar on the lower forearm. Set in the cup holder before him there's the slightest bit of steam coming from the styrofoam cup betraying the contents not to be of the alcoholic variety.

Brow lifted, pale eyes seem fixated upon Joe's outfit. Maybe it's the bright colors? As his peripheral vision picks up the camera cutting over to him, the rockstar smiles to Emma.

"Thank you Emma, I'm Nick Drago, musician and actor with the obligatory plug for my latest album 'Stand Strong'. Released last Tuesday. Keep an eye out for tour dates starting in June." He gives a bit of a wink to the camera, looking back over to Emma when he sees it moving on.
Hank Pym Hank Pym looks a round a little overwhelmed by the lights and people and then very deliberately places a plushie ant on his desk. "I'm Doctor Henry, Hank, Pym. Formerly Ant-Man, retired Avenger and now teaching science at Happy Harbor High School. This is my service animal ... Sugah." He nods.
Diana Prince Diana is seated at the upper right box and is wearing a crimson dress that is sleeveless and connects behind her neck and mane of dark brown hair in large curls. She's wearing bright red lipstick and has fine jewelry upon her neck, ears and wrists. She is dressed to the nines, as they say.

Her eyes roam over everyone as the show begins, smiling at the contestants and listening to their intros. The clown is certainly, interesting, and Jon's charity gets a soft 'aww' from the Princess. She turns her eyes to watch and listen to Nick's introduction, which has her grinning, followed by Hank's who gets a happy smile from her as well as she was even recently talking about him with another member of the Avengers.

When it comes to her turn, Diana looks toward the host and cameras then speaks up in her naturally huskied and foreign accented voice. "Hello. I am... Diana. Prince." She states with a smile again. "Otherwise known as 'Wonder Woman', as they say.... I am... a member of the Justice League, and an Ambassador to my people, the island of Themyscira. I am... very happy to be here, and very excited to get the fun underway... and thank you to my sister, Donna for getting me on this program here today." She states with a bubbly little laugh to follow it as she is clearly in to this show so far!
Emma Frost     Looking back to the camera Emma laughs and chuclkes as she turns away. "That's wonderful. We're more than happy to have you all here with us tonight. We'll be back with you in a moment." Emma then walks back across the stage and gives a smile and then another pantomime frown towards Joe Kerr.

"Well as our first contestant we'll let you be the first to answer our first question." Emma then reaches up to the card and pulls out the one labeled 'A' and then she holds it out before her face.

"The Avengers have been out saving the world, and the first thing they do when they get back to the mansion is BLANK?"
The Joker "Saving the world, huh? And which Avengers? You go through so many, it can be...bewildering. Though, you know, I was talking to my pastor, Doctor Achebe, and..." Joe Kerr holds his mouth with his hand, as if swallowing something. "Oh excuse me, we are live after all."

"Bathe. I know if a robot punched me through a country I'd want a hot shower first thing after getting home." Joe offers, giving Pym a wink that you might miss unless you're paying a great deal of attention. "Those tight little outfits, too. Must chafe like a bear."
Michael Hannigan Nick gives a grin as Hank sets the plushie down on the desk surface. Reaching over to the cupholder he picks up the styrofoam cup to sip at its contents before putting the container back. Once the camera is off of Hank he leans over, gesturing to the plushie and giving a thumbs up. He looks over to Diana at her introduction, smiling at the laugh.

Hearing the question, Nick glances to Emma for a moment before he turns to his card, scribbling down a response and flipping it over. With time left over, he grabs his tea again and sips casually.

When his turn comes up, he frowns, setting the cup back down.

"Okay." He sighs, "Saving the world is a big task to do. They're probably working up a sweat, getting hit with who knows what is getting thrown at them, and coming across some of the weirdest shit possible." (This is a gentle reminder to censors to be on their toes) "So, by the time they're getting back, they've probably just DONE with it all. So what better thing to do than to go -"

He flips the card up showing the word 'Shower' along with Cartoony Captain America frownie face with stink lines coming off the head. The frown twists into a grin,

"-Shower all that stuff off?"
Hank Pym Hank Pym looks a little embarrassed and holds up a card that says, 'Pee.' "It's hard to get into and out of those uniforms you know. Saving the world can take a while and when I get back well I mean usually the ladies get first crack at the restrooms but I usually hit the head." He makes the plushie ant nod solemnly. "There you see? Sugah agrees. And the uniforms don't chafe with the right tailor. Unstable molecules suits actually breathe pretty well. Anyway shower comes after bathrooming. Sorry."
Diana Prince Diana's eyes go to that of Emma who gets a little grin as she preps for the first question. When it's delivered the Princess raises her hands up to place them gently on either sides of her face, her fingertips brushing across the edges of her hairline on either sides of her forehead. Almost like she KNOWS the ACTUAL answer to this!

Her eyes sweep to the Joker as he speaks and his answer has a soft laugh come form the Princess. She averts her eyes then next to Nick who lines up his response, before Hank.

When it comes to her, Diana has a smile on her face and she nods once. "I uh... was very blessed to get to spend the past three years as a bit of a satellite member to the Avengers, and I can say without a doubt that after a mission, we would all go back to ... wherever, and open a bottle or two and get our drink on."

She of course starts to laugh at that afterward. "Showering would come later though, at least for some of us." Big smile!
Freddy Freeman     Pantheon almost misses the cameras turning to him for his answer, listening to Diana's answer like his life depends on it because, well, a good part of his ego does. It's Wonder Woman, for god's sake. "Um..." The paragon of a man (who also happens to have the grace and awkwardness of a fifteen year old) flips over his card, which reads 'Debrief'.

"I'm not an Avenger, but I know they take their work very seriously. After every mission," Pantheon coughs. Patrols are more the Philly boy's speed, but that doesn't sound as cool. "I make sure to analyze what happened and why it happened, and how I can do better for next time."
Karen Starr     Power Girl has this whole time been somewhat slumped over in her chair. Bottom right, last seat. There's a mild look of... Displeasure. As if she doesn't want to be here. Resting on one elbow, her cheek sitting calmly on one gloved hand.

The young contestant was the entire reason she was here- and she looks out towards him for a moment, gauging his reaction to the first question. She couldn't tell the kid No- or, rather, when he got at her with the puppydog eyes and the 'auntie Karen' she couldn't make the decision stick.

Still, nothing he could do would make her enjoy- For a split second, Karen's eyes hit the crowd, and she catches a look from a representative of the Daily Planet. The reaction is pretty swift, such that it's immediate. Her posture straightens, and she starts to look more like the other panelists.

Clearing her throat, she flips her card around, reading a single word: "Shawarma" A brow raises, and she looks out over the others. "Listen. Drinking doesn't do much, and people always crowd the showers. You try hitting someone with a building six times in ten minutes and see if you're only thinking about getting a bite afterwards."
Billy Batson An overly enthusiastic wave comes from Earth's Mightiest Mortal, Billy in full red jumpsuit with gold accoutrement and white cape looking out from his section on the panel, trying hard not to look to the one side with Power Girl, even if he holds up a hand to block a pointing finger while he mouths her name at the camera before turning nearly as red as his jumpsuit.

Then he recalls that he is being looked at for a reason, "OH! Hi! I'm Shazam I..." blink. Blink. "I'm like... I guess I'm trying to be a hero?" smooth.

Santana and Rob Thomas level Smooth.

"I'm the champion chosen by the leader of an ancient council of wizards to be their chosen opposition to evil." there you go, that'll fix it. Good job.

A card is lifted up reading 'Pizza and HBO Late Night' and now he's pointing at it and making a 'know what I'm sayin' face is in full view of the cameras.
Emma Frost     Emma steps away from the panelists and back towards Joe, "Well, seems you got yourself a singular match this round, but you can still make up the five remaining points next round." Emma says with a charming smile as she steps over towards the cards.

Plucking up the remaining card with a manicured hand, the card is flipped open and Emma looks from it back towards Jon, and then back to the card. "I hope your mom isn't watching." The woman says with a cheeky smile before she shrugs her shoulders and continues.

"Flash is the world's fastest man, Batman is the worlds greatest detective, Wonderwoman is ..." Emma pauses and looks towards Diana, and says boldly, "Blank."
The Joker Joe Kerr actually has to hold a laugh back, there. Poor kid.

In the crowd, Clark Kent adjusts his glasses and wonders if this question isn't, somehow, Karen's little revenge for having to play nice.
Jon Kent      Superboy's face brightens as his opponent gets points on the board. With the other answers he chuckles, in Pantheon's case he gives a thumbs up! But...in the case of Shazam...his eyes just flare out. His 'auntie Karen' though gets a hearty nod and light clapping in approval.

Jon's white teeth flash a smile as he looks toward Emma. "Oh, she probably is...but" Then the madlib ..."Oh no..." As he looks from Emma to Diana, and back again. "Umm...Wonder Woman is...she's the..." Then a glance to Power Girl. "Miss Frost, I'm going to say she's the World's Kindest Woman." He commits to the answer with a nod, folding his hands on the dais as he awaits the panel's fury.
Michael Hannigan Nick's brows raise at the prompt momentarily before he looks over to Diana. He looks back to his card. "So it begins... Always beware question B..."

Giving a shake of his head, the time spent writing is a bit longer than last time. He flips the card over, giving Jon an apologetic look in advance.

As his turn comes up again he gives Jon a smile. "That is a good answer, Jon." He turns his head, sharing the smile towards Diana before turning back.

"Well, following in the pattern of World's something something, I had to go with what makes her stand out. She's a hero who has many admirers. But she's an ambassador as well. How many people who don't have to work with them can name more ambassadors than heroes? Much less ones they like? So..."

He lifts up the card, showing 'World's Favorite Ambassador'.

"World's Favorite Ambassador. Odds are. It's true."
Hank Pym Hank Pym manipulates the ant toy to hold up the card that reads 'World's Most Wonderful' in a very nice cursive. He hides his face behind it, blushing a little. "I mean so /everyone/ says..." He trails off and sets the card down. Rubs the back of his neck.
Diana Prince Witht he next question being presented to Jon, Diana has to tilt her head and just let her red lips upturn in to a pleased smile at the proposition of hearing the answers to this one. She takes a moment to write her own answer down on to her card and get it registered within the system before she sits back to watch the 'show'.

She reacts to the audience, looking out to them to smile at their faces before looking back. Jon's answer makes her melt a little and place a hand over her heart. "That is so sweet." She softly says with deep sincerity.

Her eyes go then to her right to look down the row to Nick, whose answer gets another smile from her along with Hank's. When its her turn she glances down at the table in front of her. "This is a bit embarrassing, I did not know there'd be such... direct questions." She says almost showing signs of actual shyness before she looks up and flips her card up with a larger smile.

"Really good with a lasso." She says of the card and her answer, her smile a little softer then as she just had to give something with a bit of humility, right?!
Freddy Freeman     Turning over his card, Pantheon reveals his answer 'World's Greatest Fighter'. He gives Diana a sheepish smile and adds, "With or without the lasso. Really. I actually think I have strands of the Lasso of Truth back home. I don't know if they're authentic or not, though? They definitely broke my piggy bank, but they don't glow or make anyone tell me anything besides that I'm a nerd." His face continues to turn red, and the card goes over his mouth. "Okayyy, shutting up now."
Billy Batson 'The Princess of Power' is on Shazam's next card when he flips it up, blinking at Jon before he looks back at Karen, mouthing 'What?' at the man before he looks out, "I dunno what else I can say, I've seen what she can do - really... I mean. How do you put what she does and who she is into words?" looking at his card and back out towards the cameras.

"Really everyone else here is really great." motioning around, "Hank Pym was Ant Man... and P-p-p-power Girl," ducking his head and blushing again, "when the cameras and mics actually keep their focus on her face she's usually got something intelligent to say." jerking a thumb towards Freddy, "And he's gotta be the most dedicated friend a guy could ever not tell he was appreciated." fingers drumming on the table a moment,

"But yeah. She-Ra joke. Wonder Woman is the Princess of Power." bobbing his head, Billy is all shoulders again before looking at his cards.
Karen Starr     Someone's eyes may be burning a hole into the side of her head through the podium, demanding that she play nice or some level of nebulous Or Else that regardless of his level of follow-through, still eats at her enough that she abides. The niceness doesn't necessarily drop, even as the second question is asked, and she gets to writing.

When finally it's time to reveal her card, that her answer doesn't match Jon's makes her eyes flit for a quarter-second to the crowd, one of whom she's definitely supposed to be making happy now by being on the same nice, wholesome wavelength as her nephew. She taps the card, waiting a time to reveal it.

"Okay. Hear me out. Okay." she states, flipping the card over such that it reads: "Overrated"

"I figured, you know, playful banter, right, but I just figure, right, that none of us should be held up on a pedestal as the greatest anything, and is nobody going to talk about the other answers? I think they're more interesting than mine."
Emma Frost     "Jon with zero points on the board. Such a shame." Emma says with a frown as she looks towards the bottom row of panelists and offers them a chance, "Feel free to introduce yourselves to the camers and give the people at home something talk about tomorrow and for years to come when we go into syndication." Emma smirks, giving pause for each of the panelists to shine.

A few moments pass before she's walking back over to the contestants and picking up a new set of cards. "Alright, Joe Kerr, you're in the lead, so you get to go first and we'll see if you can grow your lead at all." Emma unfurls the card and looks at it for a moment before taking a deep breath and fighting her own desire to laugh.

"Canada has Alpha Flight. California has the West Coast Avengers. Who protects Mexico?"
The Joker "I'm sure you'll have better luck next time, young man." Joe Kerr says amicably. He doens't have a ton if vitriol for the extened super-family, even if they do grow like weeds. They're all so WHOLESOME, and you can only have so much vanilla every night. "Well, Ms. Frost, if I were a supervillain I'd think twice about a job in Mexico because of the water."
Michael Hannigan In a game of opposites, the green light in front of Nick indicates that he stops participating with Joker's round. At some point when the cameras were not focused on him, he managed to get a beer from backstage.

Hank leans forward, slowly lifting up a card in front of Sugah. : Whoever is Closest "Because, response time." He gives as his explanation.
Diana Prince Diana just grins down at Karen but lets it lay as so. She looks back up to the game as it continues before noddingly softly at the question. "This one is trouble." Diana says when it comes to her turn to answer it.

"But yes, the answer is simple. We all do." She says, showing that to be her answer on her card. "The Justice League, the Avengers, so on and so forth. We are all there for the people of Mexico, as much as we can be in this busy and chaotic world we live in."

She flips her card down toward the back of Karen in front of her then.
Freddy Freeman Pantheon gives Jon a sympathetic look before quicking scribbling something down on his card. When it's his turn to show the cameras, the card says 'Speedy Gonzales'. "Pretty sure this mouse is just as fast as the Flash. Maybe faster. Mexico's in good hands."
Billy Batson "Anyone who knows anything knows the defender of Mexico has a compatriot known as Esquelito. Even if the eggs were a LIE. They gave him no eagle powers! They gave him no nutrients!" Snickering, Billy flips his card to show 'Nacho Libre' written there while he does his best to try not to break into juvenile tittering.

"I woulda said Ramses, 'cause at first everyone thought he was a super great guy - but turns out... he's a real dooouche." giving a bit of a right lipped smile, while dancing his card around some.
Karen Starr     Karen spends some time thinking, but for some reason, this particular answer seems to be a kind of no-brainer for her. Very soon, she's writing something down onto the card, and seems pleased with herself for a time.

Soon, she's revealing what she wrote: "Justicia"

"They have their own team, in Mexico. Iman, El Muerto, Acrata, led by El Dorado- Am I the only one that's looked this up?" she asks, momentarily pausing, and trying to remember if it was only /her/ Earth...
Emma Frost     "Sorry about that Joe, but no extra points for you this round, but you still have the lead." Emma says along with a shrug of her shoulders before resetting the microphone before her face and stepping to grab the last card and giving a look towards Jon, "You ready, you only need two matches to take the lead and the game." Emma explains before she looks to the card and takes a breath. "Mister Fantastic has the brightest mind, but Superman has the brightest... blank?"
Jon Kent      'Superboy' sits up straighter, and adjusts his seating once he is called to answer. "Oh umm, Superman has the brightest eyes. You know." He takes two fingers and puts them sticking out from his eyes and makes a shooting sound. "Zzzzzzap!"
Michael Hannigan Nick turns his back to the camera with the beer, and without a church key takes the cap off the bottle before turning back around to replace the cup with the now open beer. He downs a bit of the beer. Pausing to listen to Emma's prompt. Giving a snerk, he sets down the beer and writes down the response rather quickly. When his turn comes up, he holds up the card which says 'Shorts' "Bright Red. Right on the outside of the rest of the outfit."

Hank gives Emma a look for the question prompt before he looks down to the card, writing his own response. Upon his turn coming up, Hank looks over to Nick and then looks back to Emma, slowly lifting up his card to show his answer: 'Logo' "Well, If you look a bit higher you would see the bright yellow to go with that red."
Diana Prince The question about Superman has Diana smiling again as she listens to the answers unfold from the contestant in Jon to the guests beside her. She looks over to Jon and nods once to him.

"You are right, to be sure." Diana states. "Superman is a dear friend, and though yours is rooted in his ability to keep us all that much more safe, my answer... is more about my appreciation for what he also brings. His kindness."

Diana turns her card over and shows off 'Smile' as her answer. "I have not been much help to you this evening, Jon. My apologies!"
.
Freddy Freeman     Superman happens to be Pantheon's favorite superhero, so this is an exciting (and obvious) question for him as indicated by the quickness in which he writes down his answer. Pantheon's card reads 'Power Source'. "Because he gets his powers from the sun, and what's brighter than the sun?"
Billy Batson Billy makes a 'PfffFFFFffff' face and wavy hand gesture at the mention of Superman before he lifts his card up to show 'Bald Spot' written there before resting his chin on his fist. "I mean it's Superman... I can't shoot lasers out of my eyes, but can he summon lightning at a whim?" both brows up while he ticks the card back and forth.

"But nothing beats the power of his shine top! Up in the sky! Is it a bird!? Is it a reflection off a satellite!? No! Superman's receding hairline!" brace for boos. Giant grin.

Side-eye for Freddy's answer. PffFFFffFFFFFffffFFFFffff
Karen Starr     Karen isn't entirely sure what's going to happen when Superman- who definitely isn't watching right now- finds out that she didn't match with Jon at all. A couple beads of sweat form on her brow, and she holds a pleasant, if momentarily awkward smile.

"Well, I put that he has the brightest smile, because I know my heat vision is stronger, and I'm really hoping that wherever he is, he's happy right now." The mood shifts a moment, and Karen looks ever so /slightly/ irate. "I just /hope/ he's happy."
Emma Frost     Emma pauses as the tension in the air between Superboy and Karen seem to be almost palpable, and yet, the telepath smirks before facing the camera, and putting the mic before her lips. "That leaves us our winner tonight, with a ... single point, Joe Kerr!" Emma says, tossing the question card she had in her hand up in the air and allowing it to fall where it may. "And with a flourish, the clowned man gets a handful of cash and happy day." Emma says, dropping her arms to her sides exaggeratedly as she seems defeated by the awkwardness and tension of the last hour of filming. "My goodness." She bemoans and steps to the back of the stage to take a break.
