Bobbi Morse     As the klaxons sound and the HYDRA stormtroopers near, Bobbi looks back at Lance. Despite what he just endured prior to her arrival and after her arrival.. he seems surprisingly in good spirits. What kind of strange blind faith must this man have to still follow her after what she did to him?

Slowly, she shuts the door again and lifts up three fingers, then two, then one.

The sound of the quinjet guns bursting through the corridor windows and mowing down the four HYDRA agents outside is loud and sudden. It's rare for SHIELD to go lethal with quinjet weapons. Not as rare for HYDRA. The sound of the bodies dropping is masked by the quinjet's guns.

As quickly as the quinjet appeared, it stealths and disappears. It's not the only one out there.. they are circling the building, picking their targets and letting bullets fly. The destruction of the Triskelion has begun.

"Okay now," she says to Lance and opens the door up. It was a mistake to say 'bodies dropped to the floor'. More like bits of bodies dropped to the floor. The ground and walls are scorched with armor piercing bullet fragments.

Not missing a beat Bobbi indicates, "This way." She starts heading up via the stairs. There's an escape plan in her mind and it involves Quinjet Prime.
Lance Hunter "Bloody hell," Hunter says as he steps into the hall, it was less a exclamation and more of an accurate description of what's left of the guards after the Quinjets' 20mm cannons sorted them out. He looks away as he passes what used to be bodies and follows after Bobs. "Where are we heading from here?" he asks, he's pretty sure he's not lucky enough that this building lines up exactly with the Triskelion in the real world.
Bobbi Morse     Bobbi looks back to Lance, "The roof. My Quinjet will be waiting for us to get out of here." She is taking the stairs two at a time and only slows when two HYDRA agents enter the stair well trying to run down it toward them. Bobbi tilts her head as she observes their weapons aren't yet drawn.

With a quick draw her machine pistol fires and she sweeps it across the well in full automatic mode. The bodies drop and she steps past them as they slide down a few more steps before coming to rest in a corner.

The stairs end at the lab interrogation floor. "We need to cross this level to get to the next staircase," she warns and opens the door just a crack in time to see another HYDRA stormtrooper get ripped to shred by a loud blast of quinjet machine cannons.
Lance Hunter Hunter keeps pace with Bobbi weapon raising when the two men appear before Bobbi chops them down with automatic fire. He dodges their corpse on the way up. "Sounds good, I definitely need my own quinjet when we get back to our world," he says as they stop to let the quinjets make short work of the opposition. "Any other surprises I should know about?" he asks between breaths.
Bobbi Morse     Bobbi hmmmms at his comment about a quinjet, "Am I still the sky commander in your world?" It's also her world, but her head hasn't quite wrapped around that yet. She enters the hallway just in time to see a quinjet aimed down through a window. It ... waggles ... then cloaks.

Her eyes are drawn through the window in to one of the interrogation rooms. There is Melinda May, The Cavalry. She smirks a moment and then replies, "If I knew about them, they wouldn't be much of a surprise. I think my fleet of sky death is more than enough of a trick.. but I did come packing tools."

She puts one of the 'lockpicks' on the door and there is a small *pfff* as the lock is blown out. She opens the door and enters the room, "May." The smug look of superiority on her face is telling that she is enjoying seeing May strapped down like this. "Did they break you yet?"
Melinda May May definitely looks like she's seen better days. Her right arm is caked in blood that has run down from a wound on her shoulder -- though it's hard to tell where the wound was. She's staring fixedly up at the ceiling where, if they happen to glance up, there is a small SHIELD logo rotating like a little hologram in the air. Written beneath it in a graffitti script are the words 'Help is coming -- The Operator'.

Her eyes roll toward the door when Morse enters. She can't move her head. It's been restrained by a headband strap. There are electrodes tucked into her hair and some burn scars in tears in her close fitting black tank top that match the prongs of one of the cattle prod battons the shock troops favour. "Fuck you, Morse," she says, deciding she's actually got nothing to lose by wasting the breath. She always wanted to say that to her.

So, safe bet: Not broken, yet.

She is opening and closing the fingers of her right hand almost rhythmically, rippling them like she's trying to restore feeling in them.
Lance Hunter "Just a commander, of something called SPOT and before you ask it's not our canine unit," Hunter remarks as they move into the hall, his gun is raised and despite his flapping gums his eyes flick about alert for signs of danger.

Lance comes in the door after Bobbi and seeing May laid out like she was with the hologram above her, he just blinks. "Well you don't see that every day," he says. "This Operator mean us?" he asks May as he moves to unhook her from the table taking care with her injured arm when it comes time to remove those restraints.
Bobbi Morse     Bobbi scoffs and really was about to ask if she was in charge of the K-9 unit. Bobbi has to admit, she's not seen a random hologram with a SHIELD logo on it like that. Not in years. "Sadly," she remarks to Lance.

The 'fuck you' gets an actual laugh from Bobbi and she places a hand on May's forehead, then pulls away the strap holding her in place. "Yes.. yes I bet you've had that one stored up for years haven't you."

She takes her phone out of her pocket and flicks to the photo gallery. She holds it up in front of May's eyes, "Look. It's Radcliffe. We're trapped in a virtual world by that piece of shit. I have a plan." The guns blaze through the windows mowing down more HYDRA shock troopers. One drops dead in front of the door way, "Tear the whole fucking thing down. You in?"
Melinda May The fact May's useless, mangled shoulder has been knitting itself back together in ways it simply shouldn't be able to do, combined with the fact that little rotating SHIELD icon went entirely unnoticed by the various HYDRA people who have walked through the space, added to other subtle things she's noticed changing around her... and then everything Daniel and Sharon has said? May stares at the photos Morse shows her.

Well. That explains Daniel. And vindicates him, too.

"Fuck HYDRA," she says, her voice a rasp in the back of her throat. A beat. A predatory grin. "I never thought it'd be you." No, seriously. She'd never have expected to hear those words out of Bobbi's mouth. As her head is freed, she looks over to Lance. "Who's he?" She struggles to sit up as he frees her from the rest of her straps. "Who are you?"

She slides off the table, staggering to her feet and ripping the electrodes off with her left hand. She favours her right much as Bobbi has in the past. "Wait. Does this mean we have to save the Doctor?" She's *really* not keen on that. "We need to get the others out. They're on the detention level."
Lance Hunter That predatory smile gets a grin from Lance. "Good work Bobs, I think we got her back," he says clapping Bobbi on the shoulder before removing the last of the straps from May.

When May stands, asking who he is, he answers, "Agent Lance Hunter, I'm with SHIELD," he says. "The one from the other world."

As for the doctor? "Fitz? Yeah, we got to save him, he's not like how he is in the real world, it's this place that's messed him up, like it did to the both of you."
Bobbi Morse     The look she gives Lance suggests she's not used to people slapping her on the back, let alone touching her without her permission. "The road not taken, a ghost from the past, my level six promotion? my ex-boyfriend who for some reason still believes in me and seems to think we're a couple outside of this stupid simulation," she says less charitably than Lance's upbeat perspective.

As Lance says 'Yeah we got to save him' she replies, "Fuck no he can rot here for all I care." She peers at Lance again as he says the opposite of what she was thinking. She shakes her head to him, "You don't understand Lance. We did what we had to do to protect this country... Leopold... he does it because he likes it and he will talk your ear off about duty and purpose all the while that little psychotic twitch of a smile creeps at the corners of his mouth."

"I just hope you have your Inhumans under control back in your world or else this was all for nothing," she says darkly. A small shrug is given to May, "Fuck HYDRA. Sure. SHIELD, HYDRA. What's the difference, they're all the same. I'm done with being someone else's puppet. I'm done with Radcliffe, I'm done with Garrett and I'm sure as shit done with The fucking Doctor."

She pokes a finger in to Lance's shoulder. It doesn't hurt like it would from super soldier Bobbi. "So why the hell would we go back -down- to rescue more people?" The loud blast of quinjet cannons strafes down the corridor again and the wilhelm screams of HYDRA storm troopers can be heard.
Melinda May "Wait," May says. She looks at Bobbi. "*That* Hunter? Your dog?" She shakes her head. "Yeah. This world can't be real. Nobody stays dead."

She rakes her hands through her hair to free it from the last of the glue, pushing that thought away. "The Doctor's bad news," she tells Lance. "I don't care how friendly you think your world is, it won't stay that way, if you let him loose in it." Yeah, okay. This is from two of his most trusted lieutenants, who are fucking scary in their own right. That should be terrifying to most people. When the monsters are afraid...

"This isn't Radcliffe, though," she tells them, finally getting her bearings. She looks around for something she can use as a weapon, but -- unsurprisngly -- finds nothing. No matter. She'll survive. She's made it this far... against surprising odds. "It's his assistant. That fembot. AIDA. This is all her. He's a figurehead. She's taken over." She looks between the two of them, settling on Hunter. "And she wants out into your world, SHIELD."

She moves toward the door, listening to the screams. "You keep going, if you want," she tells her, cracking the door a small way to see just what's happening. "But Daniel, Peggy, and Underwood are down there. I won't leave them."
Lance Hunter Hunter glances to the door as more screams are heard on the outside. "We need to remember that trick when we get out of here," he says before getting back on task. "Again with the dog," he mutters before saying. "Bobs is mean, but right, I'm from the other world along with Daisy, Simmons and the rest of them, and we're here to get both of you and /ALL/ the rest out of here and that includes Leopold Fitz," he says looking them both in the eye one after the other. "I know here he's some sort of monster, but in the real world he's a good bloke, he and I have served together, we've drank a ton of beer and watched football together, I can't leave him behind, so if you lot want to get the others downstairs, tell me where I can find him and if either of you know where I can get an ICER I'll go get him myself and drag him back home."
Bobbi Morse     Bobbi smirks as Lance admires her 'work' and May realises this is the guy she named her dog after. "A rogue AI attacked HYDRA a year ago. I'd never seen Madame HYDRA so riled up. Crazy things transformed themselves, built laser cannons, all kinds of flying drone chassis. We eventually took it down. It was built off some old SHIELD technology from the 70s."

She does look pleased with herself, "So I revived it from storage and explained my intentions to it. We made a deal and I uploaded the thing in to all of my quinjets." She looks back to May, "Like I said, tearing it all down."

There's a glower from her as Lance explains what Fitz means to him in his world. "Hell I risk my life coming back for you Lance and now you want to follow her," she motions with her machine pistol to May, "back in to the nest of goons??! What is wrong with you."

With an exasperated sigh she lifts up her wrist to reveal the control pad and presses a button on it, "Change of plans. There's more SHIELD to rescue before egress."

"Alright.. lets go," Bobbi says reluctantly, ejects the spent pistol magazine and inserts another.
Melinda May Bobbi's opinion of going after the Carter-Sousa family reflects May's opinion on going after The Doctor. If Hunter wants to go on his own... more power to him. Bobbi can always get another dog in the so-called real world. Despite that thought, however, she studies him a moment, sensing his determination and conviction. Another unique emotional overlay in a world generally devoid of them.

The things AIDA said to her are now beginning to make sense. She notices that Hunter didn't respond to Bobbi's comment about having Inhumans under control in the other world. And, for just a moment, she wonders if that's actually a good thing. If what AIDA says is true.

"C'mon," she says now, as the gunfire pauses. "Let's just go." She slips out of the door and starts jogging toward the nearest stairwell, stooping mid-stride to pick up a discarded rifle and the ammo that goes with it. She holds it in her left hand still, her right arm still not quite perfect -- but it's getting noticeably better.

Time to go back down into hell.
Lance Hunter Hunter looks pleadingly at Bobs. "I know you went out on a limb for me Bobs, but these people, where we come from they're our friends, hell, Peggy's your bloody hero, so trust me when I say when we get back to the real world, you'll understand, more than that you'll be happy we saved them Fitz included, Just trust me on this one Bobs, okay?"

He waits for an answer but either way it goes when May goes he goes right after down into the detention level.
