Bobbi Morse     Bobbi's motorcycle comes to a stop underneath the cameo netting hung between tall trees. This region of America is thick with forest and the location has been a great way to hide the Inhumans from HYDRA, especially while so much of SHIELDs higher ups were all stuck in the framework.

Helmet in to backpack, sunglasses on, she wanders down the quiet path toward the small community that the survivors of Afterlife had been building, or perhaps rebuilding. Some people recognise her and wave. She recognises them too.. unfortunately.

A guilty nod is given to them as she passes by and she is met by Gordon. "Agent Morse, we haven't seen you here in a while. Jiaying is waiting for you in the main cabin."

There's another small nod and she places a hand on the man's arm just for a moment, just to make sure he's ... real. She walks with him to the cabin and she enters. Taking off her glasses, she is stoic, sombre, not quite her usual combatitive self.
Daisy Johnson There's a certain resemblance to Afterlife in the way the people are organized out in the forest, some small wooden housing having been built, a sense of community of the people around. There's a lot more noise around though due to the forest and all the animal life surrounding them, something that didn't happen with the snow-clad Nepal but the people are strangely quieter.

Gordon looks a bit surprised at the hand on his shoulder and might even raise a brow if he had any use for those. As it happens he simply smiles faintly and leads on, "Daisy was here earlier, thought you would had come in with her." but that's pretty much his only comment, stopping outside Jia's cabin and opening the door to let the Agent in.

Jiaying is waiting inside, the cabin sparse and without much of the life it had back in Afterlife. Most has been lost afterall. And maybe it's time for new beginnings too. She is sitting at a table, a pair of teacups and a mug. "Just on time." she states in a calm voice, eyes examining the other woman. "I just got another mug prepared."
Bobbi Morse     The backpack slides off of her shoulder and she leaves it by the door. Dressed in civilian clothes, jeans, a burgundy shirt and black leather jacket. She isn't quite sure how to do this, how to explain to Daisy's mother what happened in the framework.

The offer of tea brings a small, tight, smile to her face. She takes a seat at the table with Jiaying and says, "I thought about it. But given everything that happened I figured she'd want alone time with you."

There's something off about Bobbi since their last few encounters. Before she was all spy and no trust. Now she seems broken. It's something Jia has seen plenty of times when Inhumans try to face the world alone and get beaten down by it. Say what one will about their gifts, but Inhumans the world over almost always change their outlook on life once they've been through terrigenesis.

Except Jia knows Bobbi never went through terrigenesis. "Thank you," she says and accepts the mug. A small sip. She asks, "I suppose Daisy told you everything that happened already?"
Daisy Johnson "She has told me about some if it." Jiaying confirms. She is dressed in a blue-white traditional cheongsam, embroidered with yellow flowers, hands elegant as she fetches the mug of tea, pouring a cup for Bobbi and then one for herself. In the meantime she listens. She studies. Watching the other woman's mannerisms. The defeat.

"You are Bobbi, but at the same time you are not." she tells her, not yet touching the tea, hands folding over her front.

Yet besides that comment she speaks nothing further, a gesture as if in invitation for Bobbi to say her mind while she finally reaches for her mug to take a brief drink, those eyes so similar but also so different from the young Agent that is part of the SHIELD family.
Bobbi Morse     It's a bit like a dam bursting as she lets out a startled laugh. She is Bobbi but she is not. She slumps a little in the chair and says, "That's the problem. I am me, through and through. I just lived another version of myself all because of one man. In one life, I saved his life.. in another, he died. Just one little change and my whole life went down a totally different path..."

She cups her face in her hands a moment and then lets out a long sigh. "I killed you Jia. I hunted down Inhumans and I handed them over to a psychopath who tortured them and experimented on them." She presses her lips together and rests her hands on the table top.

"I'm no better than Reina. And I understand if you never want to see me here again." There is something different about her, besides that. It's almost like she's truly Inhuman now. Not just.. borrowed. Jia has an eye for such things. Bobbi has taken the first step along the road of letting the world of humanity go.
Daisy Johnson "Isn't that what life is about? Decision, and consequence. A long time ago I put duty before family. And now it is family again. It is interesting how things can go full circle." Specially to someone who has been alive for as long as this woman has. Jiaying watches the distraught manner in which Bobbi is though, even allowing a faint, sympathetic smile to grace her lips.

"Not many get to see what their life would had been with different choices. To some it's a constant remorse, doubting themselves for their choices. You though ..., you were privileged to see what would had happened differently." A beat, "Makes one appreciate what they have more, I'd hope."

She only lifts a brow as Bobbi speaks about having killed her. Apparently Daisy didn't tell her about *that*. A brief look of defiance goes over Jia's expression, almost as if saying 'good luck'. A defense mechanism against all the pursuit she has been targetted with most her life.

It takes her a moment to speak again but when she does there is a firmness to her tone. "And where would you go be if not with your family?" she gestures around her, as if telling the woman this is her people now.
Bobbi Morse     Her fingers gently fiddle with the twisted band of gold about her ring finger, with a beautiful stone set in to it. Family. She furrows her brow slightly as Jia speaks about family. "When I first came to Afterlife and saw some of the people you were harbouring there.. I didn't get it."

She places a hand over her heart, "But I really get it now. I went through terrigenesis in that place. In that other life. I felt the.. wholeness, completeness, inside the cocoon. It was so brief and so confusing. I know it was all a simulate, fake, but it was so real. So real it did something to me."

She holds out an open palm to Jia and says, "To my gift. Please take my hand." Another way of saying 'please trust me'. Because she really needs to find ways to atone for who should could have been, who she was. Reina must have felt the same way - but she turned inward, Bobbi instead is leaning on those she loves.
Daisy Johnson A nod comes from Jia when Bobbi speaks about finally getting it. Indeed Jia had her doubts about Bobbi ever 'getting it', she didn't go through the process. Her way of reaching this point was different, but as Jia always said the powers find a way to reaching the right person. And then it's only a matter of the right person finding upon themselves who they truly are.

"I am glad you are finally opening your eyes."

One hand reaches out to rest on Bobbi's and she waits.
Bobbi Morse     Bobbi smiles at the irony of opening eyes as she shuts them. Gone is the nausea like being slapped sideways when she touches someone with Inhuman DNA. She takes Jai's hand in her own and sees a world within a world, the symbols. Different with every Inhuman, like a badly tuned analog television. It just needed some fine tuning.

A flow of alien is presented to her inner mind and Jia can feel a strange warmth coming back through her, like all the parts of her that give her her gift are alive. Nothing in her changes, Bobbi knows it can be done but she also doesn't know what can be done or how.. but her instinct is there now.

"Do you feel it? Reina was right about many things. She called me Sky Commander.. she called me The Combiner. Both of those things came true. A ghost from Daisy's past tried to kill me, fearing that I would be the end of all Inhumans. I don't see how that could possibly be.. this is. It's beautiful."

She lets go of Jia's hand and opens her eyes. She can still feel what Jia is. There's a small smile on her face and she says, "I'm not saying I'm staying - I think you shouldn't hide away in one place. You should work with Daisy, with SHIELD, to make all of Earth your home. I'm not saying that'll be easy.. but."

She tilts her head, "I'm going to be living with Lance and studying my gift. Now that I know how to do this, I'm going to begin with myself. I'm going to fix the heart attacks that Jacob created to stop HYDRA."
Daisy Johnson "About many. But not all." Jia admits. Perhaps not about the most important ones for her. "She did predict I would die by my daughter's hand, but that did not come to happen." she confesses, gesturing with one hand. And despite all that Jiaying had made all she could to find out more and learn about her daughter, bringing her to become a full Inhuman.

Touching Bobbi's hand makes Jia breathe in sharply, blinking once. She feels that warmth, of her powers being aligned. She finds herself smiling and then offers Bobbi a slow, kind nod.

"You know our doors will remain open for you." Once you change your mind that seems to say. She is patient. But as for Inhumans living outside Afterlife? That's still an hard thing for her to swallow. "But I will speak with my daughter about our options." that seems to be the most compromise she is willing to offer right now.

"I am glad you are finding your path at last, Bobbi Morse."
Bobbi Morse     Bobbi presses her lips together and nods her head, "I.. am finding a path. I know who I was and can be without the right people in my life. Things need to change. I don't entirely trust myself anymore. I know more about myself than I ever thought possible."

"When I have figured out how to heal myself, I will.. walk back through your doors. I know people here need a special kind of help when things go wrong. I know Jacob was trying, and failing, to be that person. But I may be able to do better than he could. I hope. I need to learn the Kree language first though. There aren't too many people who can help me with that.. Captain America perhaps."

"But Blackagar. His people know the language. I'll ask him to teach me and hopefully he'll say yes. That man seems to be very patient. Like you I suppose. I need that kind of patience in my life right now."
