Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie looks over to Alexis, the two of them have looked at a few places and now considering a break. He looks over to her from the driver's seat of his car. "You up to letting me see a bit of your powers hon? I am thinking we could head out to some places I know about.
Alexis Carr	"Wh-why would you want to see them? I bet loads of people have firepower. Probably all obnoxious edgelords though, or giant nerds." she states quietly, seeming --- shy about her power.     "... besides. It's so destructive. I've already burned out places." she whispers. "It's probably not safe at all."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie looks over to her, and says "Well first off, cause I want to know everything about you hon." He takes his hand in hers, and says "Also I want to help you learn more about your powers and how to control them. You spoke about people not taking responsibility with their abilities, learning to control them and what you can do with them is part of the responsible thing to do hon.
Alexis Carr	"Don't you use common sense and logic on me." Allegra mutters quietly, crossing her arms before she sighs, and surrenders. "All right... just 00 someplace without a lot of flamables. I don't wanna burn down a national forest."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie nods a bit and leans over to give her a soft kiss, and then he heads out to the outskirts of the city. He will stop at a thrift store, and looks at her "Give me a minute, and will be right back ok?
Alexis Carr	... a thrift store? ALlegra eyeballs the store, then look back to Sam, and rubs her head. "All right." she states, rubbing the back of her head.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie heads inside and is not in there too long before he comes back out with a box of stuff, and slides it into the back of the wagon. He comes back around and says "Got a few supplies that will help." He drives down to where some hold warehouses are, and will say "These should be workable." He says of one he knows where there was a fight a while back so should be empty.
Alexis Carr	"Perfect, precisely what we need, old, abandoned warehouses. Mother told me there'd be days like these." Allegra replies wryly as she wraps her arms around herself, and she looks at the box.     "Seriously though what did you get at some random thrift store that's going to help?"
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie will smile and leads her inside and says "A few things." He will set the box down on some old crate that is inside, like you always find in the movies. He starts pulling things out of it. first is some old clothes, a stuffed animal, some ugly nick knacks, and some candles. "Some things that will burn, some that aint supposed to be and other things." He smiles to her.
Alexis Carr	"So basically 'this looked like a good idea, Sam, good job Sam'? Is this one of those 'thi is probably a bad idea' moments?" Allegra considers as she slips out of the ar and follows Sam into the warehouse.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie shows her the things he has and will take the stuffed animal, a one eyed lizard about half the size of a build a bear. "Ok, first off you said you can create flame on your own right?" He takes the bear to sit in the middle of the concrete floor away from anything else flameable.
Alexis Carr	"I can... provided...y'know, I eat enough." Alexis states quietly. "Otherwise it gets fuzzy and I feel sick." she adds, rubbing the back of her neck a moment, before she brings her hands out, palms up.     The temperature directly around her warms by a few degrees, and after a moment there is a little ball of fire, sitting in her palms.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie looks over to her and nods his head a bit to this. He will move over next to her and rubs her back not seeming being worried about the fire she makes "Interesting can you create it as a distance?" He will ask her.
Alexis Carr	"I don't know... I don't think so. I've never tried. But, once it's created?" she breathes out, and she bounce the fireball, about the side of a golfball, back and forth on her hands. "It's easy to keep going. I've never had to test it." she admits, "I... think this is the first time I've ever shown it to anyone."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie nods a bit to this and says "Ok, hold it steady, Ah am going to move my hand to it, trying to get an idea of how hot it is since Ah aint got a thermometer on me." He will wait for her to be ready and then will step closer and brings his hand towards the fire ball, testing side and from the top of it for the heat.
Alexis Carr	It is definitely fire. Like bringing your hand too close to a particularly large candle flame, or a torch, or a small cooking fire. It's real fire, and it is *hot*     "Careful! It... it's still hot. But fire doesn't affect me..."     She pauses.     "It *will* affect my clothes."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie smiles a bit and says "Oh so can get ya all naked and flame covered?" Interesting." He grins a bit at her, and says "Ok, now, can you shape it into other forms besides a ball?" He will ask drawing back to watch her.
Alexis Carr	"And walk out, covered in ash and three baby dragons and eventually cause several kingdoms to collapse?" Alexis replies good naturedly, "Pretty sure if I stole 'The Human Torch's' act, I'd get sued by his publicist." she grins, and then she looks at the fire.     She draws it out in a line. She coil it into a cirle, running her fingers along it. She drops the circle, compressing it, and then brings it up in a flat wall, heat pushing her hair backwards a little bit.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and seems impressed "Nice nice, seems like you did do some practicing he teases abit to her. "Ok, now see if you can toss the ball and hit the lizard." He nods towards the stuffed animal.
Alexis Carr	"... but I don't want to hurt him." Allegra mutters, sounding a little sour as she lets the fire go out, and she rubs the back of her head. She purse her lips, her fingers curling a little at her sides.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles and says "I tried to get one that was not to cute." He will tell her but does not push it "So you want him as yours?"
Alexis Carr	"... I wasn't allowed to have stuffed animals. Disruptive, my father called them. Distractions from practice... I'm afraid I never really had toys." she gives a slight laugh, embrrassed. "I know, it's bollocks."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie will walks over and picks up the lizard and brushes it off and brings it to her "Ok, so, if your gonna keep him you have to name him." He tells her with a grin.
