Owner Pose
Bart Allen Bart Allen knows most of the Titans know him as Bart, and since they do, he decided to pop in after work, before heading home. It is the wee hours in the morning, cause Bart does work the late shift. So if anyone is watching the monitors or such, the sensors record Impulse's entry and heading to the outsiders kitchen. There is a blur there as he starts setting stuff out, but then he steps back, and checks things. Bart stands there in his brown kaki shirt and shorts, even wearing a hat that matches all with the logo of the Gotham Zoo.
There are tupperware containers in front of him. Some with some names, like Streaky, Yap, MMM, and ones with just the words dog, cat, rodent. on them. There is also one with the name Scout on it, Bart closes it and sets it aside almost reverently.
Damian Wayne      Robin had been watching the monitors, very late at night for most, but of course, the Bat clan were always active at night.

He made his way downstairs, cape flapping as he made his way down. "Allen." He said, his boots made no sounds as he approached, but his face looked...interested at Bart's attire. "Spend a lot of time at Gotham Zoo?" He noticed that particular logo on the hat.
Bart Allen Bart Allen will jump just a bit as he was not expecting that, and while he maybe used to Tim and maybe even Cass doing the just appearing thing, he is not at the outsiders base. He looks over and says "Oh hey new Rob." He has heard Damian does not like to be called little so avoids it. "I work at the zoo." He offers in explanation. He pulls a blender out of a box of stuff he brought with him. "I do mostly clean up, but I get to help more with the nocturnal animals, and since I have been taking classes they are letting me help more." He explains. He does start setting some things on the counter, meats, fish, vitamins, as well as some veggies.
Damian Wayne      Good play avoiding epithets that refer to him as small or little. That is saved for a select few of the Family. "Classes in what? Animal husbandry?" Watching as Bart continues on setting up for different diets. Obviously, Robin is a little more interested in animals than most people.
Bart Allen Bart Allen loosk over and says "Veterinarian Medicine, I got the job at the zoo, cause I like animals and figured at night, I could use my speed when no one was looking and then if needed have time for hero stuff or just hanging out looking at the animals." He offers with a smile. Then we had Geoffry the new born Giraffe last year, and the Cheetah cubs earlier this year, I have been getting to work with the animals more. I have started setting up, special treats and such for the animals around the tower, and the roost. I want to help keep them healthy and happy."
Damian Wayne      Robin's face grows just a little softer at the explanation. Realizing that Bart Allen, someone he had kinda written off as an aloof guy, likes working with animals...not just working with, but is learning to be a vet. "So...ever seen a bat-dragon?" He asks, looking to Bart with a serious look on his face. Most would ask if he is joking, but anyone on the Titans knows that Robin has never said a joke.
Bart Allen Bart Allen 's brow raises looking over to Robin and says "A Bat-Dragon? I have seen the T-Rex in the cave did not see any dragons." He comments, and starts chopping up some of the veggies. "It is like a Komodo dragon, or something that is kept at the cave. Rob aint told me about any animals down there, well figured there are bats, but you know thats sorta a gimme."
Damian Wayne      "There are bats. And I have named every one of them." Damian adds, before stepping over to the window, overlooking the island and Metropolis in the background of that. "A Bat-Dragon. They are the guardians of the King of Bialya, or were..." Those last two words spoken with a level of solemnity that Damian rarely uses. It is something that the young hero doesn't speak of, but there are things he's done in the past that he does not like.

"There's one left in the world. As I know." His green gloved hand reaches into his tunic and takes out a necklace, with a skull on the end. There are a number of electronics inside, and the very real skull of a bat adorns the necklace. "Want to see something that no other veterinarian, past or present has seen before?" He asks, looking to Bart's answer before he smiles.
Bart Allen Bart Allen nods his head and says "Sure, give me just a second, and he finishes dishes up the treats and such at super speed, till he has all the containers with items in them, and then pauses "What kind of things does he like to eat, I can make him something while I have the stuff here." He offers.
Damian Wayne      "Fish. He knows not to bother the fishmongers on the pier, but I know he will swim around their trawlers to take some of their bounty." There have been stories of immaculate fishing nets having holes ripped in them, but it never was more than a light news story. Never explained, just a story fishermen tell about a sea monster in the ocean.

Damian's whistle is left out of the tunic for now, before he makes his way to the open elevator shaft, normally designed for fliers, but there are marks where Damian has used his grapple gun on every floor. The piece of kit is removed, and fired, holding his arm up, Damian mentions: "Meet me on the roof." Before the motor whirrs and takes Damian up at high speed.
Bart Allen Bart Allen nods, and will make a few fish based snacks and puts them in one of the larger tupperware containers and then is up the stairs perhaps even beating Damian. The young man is interested in meeting the bat dragon. He asks Damian, "So if I may ask, who intelligent is he? Dog, horse, Dolphin, or somewhere else on the scale?"
Damian Wayne      Damian is beaten to the top, looking to the speedster as the inertia takes him high enough for his feet to reach the floor of the roof. "My estimation has him as high as a dolphin, perhaps higher. But he finds my attempts to test him...boring." The whistle is grasped, and with both hands, he holds the bat skull. He inhales, and presses the skull to his mouth. A sharp SKREEEEEEEE! Sound emitting from the whistle, and is let go just as easily. Moments pass, before Damian looks to Bart. "Hmm." He comments, before he looks out to the skyline.
Bart Allen Bart Allen looks about and for a moment does wonder if Damian is pulling his leg. He will look around a bit more, and says "There are a lot of things about the world that man has not found yet. I have been planning a trip up to the savage land to check things out there sometime." He admits.
Damian Wayne      "He must still be in Gotham." He says, looking towards the bay again. There was a moment or two of silence before a faint SKREE! is heard in the air, and soon after, the sound of massive flapping wings. Above Damian, a shadow looms in the air, billowing out his cape as the beast descends. He gently lands and his true color can be seen, a bright crimson, black skin under the red fur, mostly seen on his wings. The beast wears a harness that holds a saddle where it is obvious Damian can ride on. Even though Goliath stands on his hind legs, after landing, he also goes down on all fours, looking to Damian and noticing that the boy is not in danger, he automatically goes into a happy mood as he sniffs all around Damian, where the young Robin cannot keep up his gruff and grumbly front. "H-hey, stop. Yes I smell like places, it's good to see you too." Right before Goliath reaches for Damian, and as easily as a child grabs a stuffed toy, Damian is brought into a tight embrace, a happy moan emits from the titan of an animal before Goliath releases Damian. "Bart Allen. This is Goliath." Making the introductions. Goliath's yellow eyes grasp the ambient light, an much like Damian's own eyes, seem to shine brighter as Goliath looks over Bart.

Almost immediately, the friendly bat-dragon inches close to Bart, sniffing and smelling to ascertain where he's been recently, who he's been with, and what other things he has done.
Bart Allen Bart Allen has eyes that actually match Goliath's in color, and will hold his arms out letting the giant beast smell him. For places Bart has been there are quite a array of smells there, but more recent being the zoo, here, and of course the food he has with him. Bart will resist the urge to zoom around the beast, wanting to see him from all sides, instead for what to Bart maybe painfully slow, he holds his hand out to the beast letting him get a good smell, and showing no hostility, his energy and curiosity maybe able to be sensed by the beast.
Damian Wayne      Goliath definitely doesn't consider anyone Damian is with a threat, part of the beast's training: assess the situation, protect Damian if needed. If no threats are present, then he is just...a big friend.

Damian watches the two, smiling a little as Goliath lets Bart walk around him, once he's had his fill of sniffs. His bat-like wings are tucked on his side, remaining on all fours for now.
Bart Allen Bart Allen will open the container to offer the treats for the big bat dragon. Once he is offering it to him, he will reach to gently give the bat dragon a scritch behind the ears, "Whose a good bat dragon, yes you are." He tells the creature. He looks over to Damian and says "He is so neat, you said you think he is the last one of his kind?" He hmmms and says "Good thing he has you."
Damian Wayne     Goliath's reaction to the offer of food and a scratch is heartily accepted, though the bat-dragon scarfs down the treat in a quick manner. "You don't have to talk to him like a dog." Damian adds in, before Goliath looks over to Damian and snorers at the boy. "Okay, fine, talk to him like a dog if you want." He says, making Goliath happy there. Before being the last of his kind is brought up, and Damian remembers quite clearly, being fourteen, in the cave, all the bodies of Goliath's family around him, and the little whelp of a bat-dragon looking up at Damian, not judging, not afraid, just loving. "As far as I know." Then Bart's final comment. "It's a mutual benefit. He saved me...from being something else." Much as Batman saw something better in Damian, Goliath did too.
Bart Allen Bart Allen hmms and nods his head a bit and says "Well, he is a good Goliath, and if he is helping take care of you even more a good guy." He says as he continues the scritching. "I will look into seeing if there are any rumors of anything like him. I wish I had looked more into animals when I was being raised up, but I did not get my interest into animals till I was back here and met real animals." He admits.
Damian Wayne      Damian gives a singular nod at the comment. "Yes, he is." He adds. Goliath extends out his wings a little as he sits down. There are some scars there, fresher than the scant others on his body. "I wish I could take that back, Goliath." He says, placing a hand on the flank of the beast. "And now you wish to be a vet?" He asks, looking to Bart. "I doubt you'll hear anything, but if you do, maybe this species has a chance again." Yes, even Damian has a soft spot, and animals are it. Especially -this- animal. "Yes, future and all that." He offers, before looking back to Bart. "Are there no animals in the future?"
Bart Allen Bart Allen looks over and says "Well, when I was in the future, I was raised in VR, cause I was aging at superspeed, in a year or so I was physically 12 years old, so I was like raised inside a videogame. " He tells the younger hero. "My mom and my grandmother sent me back to this time, so Wally could try to rest my ageing clock, and he did. I have been back to the future to visit my mom and others." A brief moment of shame/worry or something darkly remembered crosses his face, but it is there and gone at a speed, only other speedsters or those trained by the bat might notice. "There are animals there even alien animals like the lightning beasts, sorta like a rhino crossed with an electric eel." He offers.
Damian Wayne      "Oh." Clearly, Damian hasn't bothered to look up more about Bart before. "Well. Good that you had that fixed." Awkward much? But still, the lightning beasts is an interesting creature. "I have taken care of Goliath since he was a pup. But if I ever need him to get looked over..." Damian let's that hang there a moment. "Would you mind? I mean, I cannot take him to a normal vet...and you may know others who can be...discreet." He leaves that there for now, it needed nt be answered yet.
Bart Allen Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and says "Sure, if you don't mind will have a look at him sometime soon give him a physical to get his base lines, and such. "You ok if I check you out Goliath, so I can be your doctor." He looks to Damian "Anytime you need me, you can get me on com, or through Rob." Yea he still calls Tim Rob.
Damian Wayne      Goliath looks toward Bart, then to Damian, and back. Snorfing in the affirmative. Obviously if this guy has fish treats, then he is good. "I will remember that." Damian comments, before looking to his gauntlet. "Okay, Goliath, time for a patrol." He comments, before climbing up on Goliath's back, right in the saddle. "Thank you, Allen." He says, before pulling up on the saddle horn, and with a jump, Goliath is in the air.
