Singularity It's a drizzly evening in New York. Raining just a little bit, temperature enough to make it muggy. It was fairly mellow for those who went outside - at least, not in this day and age with angelic invasions. But for one blue-star.. Well, a humanoid blue star. There would be a 'ping' and a 'pop' as Singularity would cheerfully teleport in and out of each of th epuddles present.
Blake Riviere Angelic invasions had been...a problem, it very much limited her usual feeding methods. Not too many people going to nightclubs or bars at the moment.

Not quite having evacuated yet, Blake was still doing her best attempt as the whole 'superhero' thing now and then....but right now? She was simply making her way down the street, a simple black umbrella to defend her form, outfit and hair from the minimal downpour.
Singularity There's a 'ping' over as the blue girl that is teleporting through the puddles would get the sensation ofs omething strange. Then she would teleport to turn around, picking out Blake amongst the streets..

Then there would be another blue 'pling' as she would teleport over and move to flicker in over next to Blake cheerfully.

"Hi!". A blue girl appearing out of nowhere might not be weird. A blue girl that looked like a crescendo of galaxies could be!
Blake Riviere Such movement was probably a little strange to her senses, teleporting was a little hard to track.

Of course, a sudden glowing blue girl made of constellations was...a little strange in itself. Whincing a little at her gaze having to adjust from her light sensitivity...then she blinks, a tilt of her head.

"Hello..."
Singularity Singularity would be standing in front of Blake. Her light would shift, growing dimmer so as to not be disorienting and blinding. "Hello! Are you a vampire?" She would query as if asking someone over on a street if they were a vampire was completely normal.

The constellations on her body would twirl, flash, and rapidly spiral about over in a look of excitement.
Blake Riviere That was...forward, the dark-haired woman blinked again in sheer suprise, actually speechless for a brief second or two.

"I...am..." she speaks after that moment, looking the apparent female figure up and down. "What exactly are you?"
Singularity Singularity would pling up and down, teleporting up a few inches and then teleporting down and chirping back, "I am Singularity!" Her body flashing with spirals of galaxies, stars, flickerings of dancing milky ways..
Blake Riviere "Illuminating," Blake offers, a little chuckle of amusement at how actually little she'd been told. "And how did you determine what I was exactly Singularity?" Blake questions, her accent hanging to her words. "I thought I left my cape at home."
Singularity She does shine ever a little more brightly at the compliment! Singularity would chime, "You feel different. You have different energy flowing through yout. It stands out against everything else." Cheerful, peppy.. Not phased at all.
Blake Riviere "Different..." an understatement, but Blake wouldn't address it further. Instead the woman simply shakes her head in amusement, a small glance sidelong down the otherwise empty street. Just checking, since if there'd been witnesses she'd probably be less agreeable to chatting about her nature if mortals were there to overhear her discussion with the glowing girl.

"I suppose one could say the same about you. 'Singularity' doesn't exactly suggest you are one of many."
Singularity Singularity would nod, "I am the only one of me that I know of. I was.. Alive, inspired by the heroes of this world and others and I want to help them. They helped make me." Inspired the sentient pocket dimension. She would teleport around.

"You are very unique! What should I call you?"
Blake Riviere "I am Blake," she speaks softly, no explainations to how she'd come into being what she was. To be fair, most could 'guess' the basics of how one could be a vampire after all. Absently twirling her umbrella in her fingers, the vampiress closes her eyes for a moment. "And I suppose I am unique in my own way, as we all are."
Singularity Singularity would nod, "Yes, you are. Everyone is. Even when we are the same in different places, we all have our elements that make us different." The.. Same in different places may not necessarily make a lot of sense the way she said it.
Blake Riviere A small step taken, Blake's path steps around but she's not quite moving to 'walk' onwards yet. Singularity was strange, seemingly more energy than anatomy as best she could tell and the vampiress was still 'hungry' after all. "So you...travel around in your spare time, sensing and speaking with strangers?"
Singularity Singularity would chime happily, her stars literally twinkling as she would go to hop-port along after Blake. "I like to visit places! And come to check in on my friends. And to make new ones." No, she's not asking if Blake will be her's. Singularity definitely had a humanoid figure but.. Well, perhaps staring into her would be like looking existence in the eye for just a moment.
Blake Riviere "I...see..." Blake speaks, a slight tweak of her lips. Centuries old and powered by an even older vampire she'd consumed to gain her freedom, in a city besieged by the divine...and this was one of the strangest encounters she'd had. Huh. A little stride continued since the glowing girl could keep up, the vampiress shrugs her shoulders. "I am seeking the means to relax and...a meal this evening."
Singularity There's a light float over of Singularity, her tkaing a small hop through the air, body rippling and spinning in a series of spirals, all of them looking like miniature galaxies twisting against the void, "I see. You're looking to feed on someone." She would say that over like astatement of fact. no real judgement behind it.
Blake Riviere "I am," she answers, fact met with fact as they walk. "But they will suffer no lasting harm from it. Most find the experience immensely enjoyable. By design I am sure, but it suits my needs. Most awaken thinking they have had a more traditional but no less enjoyable evening."
Singularity Singularity would nod, floating along. There's no sign of judgement in her or telling her that it's an evil thing. "Then you do what you must. And so they do not feel any harm from it." the blue girl flickering along.
