Alexander Aaron     The texts went simultaneously out to both of them and it was the same message. Delivered in brief and revealing little, it still had a measure of portent in its small selection of words.
<< I met our mutual friend. Had words. Need to talk face to face. >>
And that was all that was given. Precious few words little direct information. Though it hopefully would draw a response designating a time and a place. Once that was received Alexander grabbed his coat and sent another text to Thea to let her know he was stepping out, and the why by referencing the night the two of them had met Lucian. She might be miffed at him for going without her... perhaps he was overly protective, but he had his reasons.
When that designated time rolled around they would get the call from downstairs that they had a visitor. And should clearance be given he'll be shown to the private elevator and ride it up to the rooftop penthouse even while he mentally tried to compose exactly how he would convey this information.
Elektra Natchios Night chez Elektra meant a particular visitor, Selene. It also meant it was leg day, and Elektra never skips it. So she is in the middle of giving one of the gym bags a good kicking for it's worth when that phone chimes in. A message. It has her arch a brow to go and check it, brushing a towel over the back of her neck.

"Seems like Alexander found something. Words though?" she looks across at Selene, "Thought he was going to help us fight them." a message is sent back with the building and floor on where to meet them before she smiles dangerously at the vampire. "I suppose we can do the dirty work ourselves." oh yes, Elektra intends to make a killing out of those lycans. Maybe she's becoming the first human death dealer.

"I am going to take a shower." She is still sweaty from the training. "Mind receiving our guest?"
Selene Corvinus Selene is seated at a small table, her hands on the keys of a laptop as she is typing something out for her team members to deal with. She looks up from the screen toward Elektra, then toward the exit of the suite. "Ah... right." She says softly, sending the mail off, then closing out the windows she had pulled up with surveilience cameras watching parts of the city.

STanding, Selene grabs a black hoodie off the back of her chair, and slips it on over the tanktop she'd been wearing. She pulls the zipper up to mid chest and puts her hands in the pockets, a light ghostly grin given to Elektra.

"Don't be too long in there..." She chides the other as she makes her way in to the living room of the penthouse apartment to wait.
Alexander Aaron     It doesn't take long.
The young Olympian wanders out of the elevator and into the hall to find the door down the way. Into the living area he's shown, moving silently for the most part. His pale hazel eyes wander the room taking note of the surroundings. Nothing is offered until it seems as if they've come to a halt when he turns to face Selene and gives a nod.
"You have a leak of some sort, or just are observed well. The lycans knew that I had been approached and 'hired' to give you a measure of aid." He undoes the buttons of his pea coat, but doesn't take it off perhaps expecting he's not to stay too terribly long.
A glance is given down the hall in the direction of where Elektra is likely taking her shower, he turns back and tells her, "Do you want the full tale now, or should I wait until we're joined?" Since he's lazy clearly and doesn't want to tell it more than once.
Or perhaps there's a reason he thinks that Selene might need some measure of support from someone near her.
Elektra Natchios "I only take long when I have company.." Is Elektra's retort to Selene, fingertips brushing over the other woman's shoulder briefly before she has disappeared within to take her shower. It doesn't take her that long and when Alexander makes his way into the apartment Elektra is coming out of her room, damp hair with a hoodie and yoga pants. Very casual. Still, does she have weapons with her? Most likely, yes.

"Interesting." She says, having heard what the young man had said, "Something we should consider later." this about plucking out traitors. She gestures to the living room. "But please, come along, and sit."

She makes her way over towards the living room, "Do you want a drink, Alexander?"
Selene Corvinus Selene is just standing there when Alexander arrives. Her pale skin contrasting against her dark clothing, and long dark hair. She looks toward the backrooms of the penthouse before back to him. "It's always wise to wait for her." She says with a slight grin for the man.

Elektra arrives moments later though, and Selene turns to walk toward the sofa where she lowers hereself down on to its edge. Her arms unfold to place hands upon her knees, wearing black sport pants, she grips her own knees as she looks between the two of them.

"So what did they tell you?" She asks softly, her voice chill as ever. "They have impressive tracking abilities, they were likely watching us that night at the tree..."
Alexander Aaron     A small smile is given to Selene, he nods as they wait. Though it's not long.
Following after, Alexander's footsteps are even and his gait is calm as he moves in Selene and Elektra's wake. Now that a seat is being shown to him he does take the pea coat off, sliding one arm free then the other and folding it to tuck it under one arm as they walk that short distance. It's left on the back of the chair once he takes a seat.
The offer of a drink is given a nod as he replies, "Whatever you're having," That said he settles in the seat then looks to the others.
Once people have gotten settled as well he says simply, "While I was out and about with my significant other we were tailed by a group of men. This was in New York, near Greenwich and ESU. A car arrived and discharged several more. We spoke with them, they asked to parley and said they had important information to share. My rationale for accepting was intel is intel, and usually better to have them bring you to their comrades instead of having to hunt them down one at a time."
He tilts his head to the side, calm eyes drifting from Selene to Elektra... then back again. "I was brought to a side street where several vehicles had blocked the road off. It was there that I met a man who called himself Lucian, and he held a leadership role it seemed."
Elektra Natchios With a brief nod Elektra pours a couple of whiskeys to glasses, walking back to the room and handing one to Alexander. The other? She keeps it in her hand and moves to settle down next to Selene, one leg folded under her, "Bold." she says about them tracking Alexander through New York, "Did they know *who* you were?" she then questions with some curiosity.

The name Lucien brings elektra to look at Selene. It's a familiar name her expression seems to tell. Eyes narrow as she looks at Selene for her own reaction to these news, then back to Alexander. "Are you certain he called himself Lucien?" is the first question she asks, a frown framing her expression now.

A sigh later and she tells Selene, "Seems Kraven was full of shit about having killed him. I suppose that's to be expected." one of her hands rests on Sel's knee, squeezing it. A signal that she is there for her.
Selene Corvinus Selene sits still upon the edge of the seat as Elektra joins her, she has her eyes upon Alex's as he tells his tale. She speaks after a few moments of silent thought though.

"They knew who he was..." She answers Elektra's question. She glances over to the other woman beside her, then back to Alexander.

"If they didn't, they would've attacked you, and your friend... Outside contacts do not get treated well in this war. Their ... holding back signals they knew what you were capable of."

Selene looks down at the thought of Lucien. "Not much surprises me now, at this stage, about Kraven's deception..." She says in her naturally husky voice.

A few seconds later and sh squeezes Elektra's hand, then looks back to Alex. "Lucien is the leader of the Lycans. He's been fighting this war, since before I was alive. He was thought ... killed, in 2001. It is what supposedly spurred his forces to flee to the United States. But... apparently that is not the case..." She mutters those last few words.
Alexander Aaron     A tilt of his head is given as Alexander answers Elektra but after he accepts the whiskey in one hand. "They claimed they did, though they made no mention of specifics. It could have been a blanket statement for them to seem as if they knew more than they did, but there did seem to be a hint of fear to them or anxiety, so perhaps they did know my capabilities." Yet when Selene offers her insight he nods to her, surrendering to her greater insight.
"He called himself such, and others seemed to defer to him." His head cocks to the side as his eyes distance and he recalls the memory, then murmurs. "A pale man, a few inches shorter than myself, smaller. Angular face." Then his lip twists up a little as he murmurs, "Weasel nose."
That small attempt at humor is tempered and he says, "He said he wished to argue his side of matters, that I was not getting the full scope of the story. I told him in essence that it didn't matter to me, that I had given my word and my obligation was bound to it. So he instead charged me with delivering information."
Which is when he looks to Elektra and frowns slightly, a glance given to Selene. Barely a fraction of a second, but the hint of body language there for her to perhaps brace as she can.
His attention shifts back to Selene and he murmurs, "He had someone come forth, a young woman. He told me she was your daughter, Selene. That her name was Eve and he wished for you to meet her."
Elektra Natchios "What's his move though? He knew the moment he appeared to one of our allies that we'd know he's alive. Does that mean he's not working with Kraven?" Elektra is still somewhat suspicious even if she does smile in an attempt of comfort to Selene when she feels her hand squeezed. Not that she is that good in this all empathy thing but .., she tries at least. Sometimes it's all about trying one's best.

It's when those last news come about Selene's daughter that Elektra freezes momentarily, then blinks. That's unexpected for sure. She is in silence for a good while before eventually speaking up again. "What?" she asks as if she hadn't heard correctly. "Selene's daughter?" she looks at the vampiress near her, hand turning to hold hers.

"Another ruse of his or ....?"
Selene Corvinus Selene's facial features stiffen a second after the mention of a daughter occurs. She seems to fade out of being 'here' as her eyelashes flutter and her eyelids slip closed. The words that Alex and Elektra speak don't seem to garner any reaction out of her there-after for several moments before her lips part and she lets out a sharp exhale.

Her eyes flash open again. "He's alive." She says. "I just saw him..." She speaks with a airy emptiness to her voice. Her stare goes between the two of them. "I just saw him... and she. She just saw you..." She tells them both.

"They know where we are now..." Selene says as she stands up unzipping her hoodie and tossing it off on to the sofa as she starts to walk back toward the master bedroom!
Alexander Aaron     Taking what Selene says as a cue, Alexander rises from the chair he had been sitting in, but not before downing that whiskey with a quick tilt of the glass. Once that's done it's set aside and he takes his coat off the back of the chair and swirls it on in one smooth motion...
That might make one think he'd practiced that move before.
With the buttons done, he straightens up fully and nods. "Do you need my aid tonight, or shall I perhaps try to distract them in some manner?" A look is given to Elektra, not words of sympathy about the likely future of her penthouse. Easy come easy go might be the sentiment see in his hazel eyes.
Elektra Natchios As Selene goes into that 'off-body' experience there's a worried look from the Hand assassin, "Sel..?" she asks her, shaking her head briefly until those words come from the woman. It has her getting up to her feet the moment after, a sharp nod.

"Lets go." Priorities first. Which means safety. In that she and Selene are in sync. She begins walking to the master room as well to go fetch her armor and weapons. The house itself? Ah well, she has some tricks up her sleeve.

"If they want to talk with us you may not need to distract them." She tells Alexander.
