Owner Pose
Roberto Da Costa Roberto da Costa is sitting in the lobby of the Fantastic Tower... Baxter Building... Four Freedoms Plaza, whatever it's currently called. he is sitting there, looking at a tablet, going over something or other. Uncharacteristically devoid of security or entourage but it is the home of the Fantastic Four, the safest building in Manhattan and possibly the eastern seaboard. Roberto sits in the waiting area, it really is what he gets for showing up without an appointment. He has spoken to the receptionist and she had called upstairs to let Franklin know that the young Brasilian man is down her asking to see him. something about the President, Captain American and business from Shield, anyplace else he'd be written of as a nutbag but this is FantastiCorp and you just never can be sure.
Franklin Richards With the people walking around doing buisness here from the tourist to the gift shop attendents currently the visable security is at the front desk just watching moniters of the floor though relaxed as not much happened here unless it was the big names. Through all this keeps going on around him as a young adult in head to toe in Fantastic four mechandise, from the hoodie, and hat with the black and blue design to the pants. Even the shoes and socks are fantastic four merc, but no-one seems to give it a second look as to them it is just a fan, and here, though no-one had all of it, a lot of people had parts of it as well.

The young adult sits right next to Roberto silently with a smile and though his face might be hard to see beause of the hooded up hoodie, when he is this close it should be easy to see. "Did you call for me?" the young man asked a bit surprised. "Ya know my dad is usually the one people come here for... though once I saw ya there was litle doubt why." as he reconised the man they had run into each other multiple times out there.

As the two sit there, no-one around them seems to notice who he is, or move close enough to listen in. With the crowd around it would be harder to spot the two just sitting in the open.
Roberto Da Costa Roberto da Costa smiles and nods looking Frankie up and down, "Yes, I called for Kity Pryde's pal, Franklin Richards." he smiles, "You know as someone who makes a living off the familiy business I am one to talk but you are really selling the brand, here." Roberto hands the tablet to Franklin and nods, "We may need to bring them in but I saw you in Aquirra and alos at the presidents thing in... Indiana? The one with the Sentinesl." How many president's things can there be right? Three? Four? Roberto smiles and lets you persuse the document, "You seem like you want to make a difference and this is going to ruffle some feathers. The way we're fighting HYDRA isn't working, it hasn't been for decades. I want to try a new approach and I need the right people on my team. I think you can be one of those people. We've tried tried fighting them as villains and fighting them as an army. I want to try fighting them in the boardroom like a corporation, they are a global conglomerate whose products are hate and fear with a byproduct of chaos. Cut off one head and two take its place, why bother when we can sell the whole thing of for parts." The document on the tablet is a flashy presentation showing the organization of HYDRA and some idea for moving aggressively against their business postions.
Franklin Richards Franklin smiles, and nods. "If you know Miss Pryde is new news, but yes. I also believe we met at the riot, but I only heard you as there were way too many people there." and shakes his head at that. "And this.." he streches out his shit as an example. "No-one expects the kid wearing this to be actually part of the group so it hides me." and chuckles a bit at that. He looks down at the tablet and thankfully he was rather well trained at computers, looking through the information as he listens.

He listens to his proposal, and nods though he also must smile as this isn't what he thought he was going to ask him to do. He though maybe make an army disapear, or more as if he knew what Franklin could do. Though when he asks about buying them out he frowns a bit. "I see if you buy them out then they will not have the resources to carry out such glorius plans... Starve them out." he ponders a bit, "How do you know these are what you say they are?" he nods at the papers, "If done wrong you could fund them other then starve them making it a much larger problem."

He doesn't mean to shoot his idea down, but there was a bit to lose here if it was done wrong, and he wanted to check. Besides if this did move forward he would need more money then just them backing them as it was a multi-national conglomerate. "Also there might be some who.... won't sell as they are idealist.. What will you do with them?" he asks curiously.
Roberto Da Costa Roberto da Costa smiles and nods slowly, "Well, it comes down to toxic corporate culture. This is an extreme example but it's not an uncommon phenomenon. By buying them out we cold take control of the organization and set it on a different direction. Sure, there are idealists, mostly in the upper echelons, radicals zealots but those are what 10% of the organization? Twenty? The majority are people who are making a living and if we pay them a decent wage, give them good benefits to do good work, well." He looks around, "Your Mom is a well known example of how positive reinforcement in leadership can yield big dividends." He nods, "It's a common misconception that we'd be funneling money into the hands of the heads of HYDRA. We would be targeting the organization throgh they're legitimate shell companies. They're publically traded and HYDRA is only required to maintain a majority share, most of the rest is small disinterested parties who follow HYDRA's lead, they don't have the votes to change policies even if they had the desire but as long as they are making money, most don't care. We would target these neutral third parties buying from them accumulating shares and only taking the minimal portion form Hydra to ensure we had the majority, at worst 51%. In some cases considerably less. It is going to need to be a well orchestrated plan and timed nearly perfectly to acheive our goal as once they realize what we're up to they will circle the wagons and do what they can to shore up their positions in other companies. So we may only get a portion of our targets but we can organize it to make the biggest impact."
Franklin Richards "I see... well how much ownership would we have of not only our purchases, but of the buisnesses themselves?" he smiles a bit at that as he looks at the other man. "I mean if we are putting skin in the game, what control do we have of the outcome?" he quotes a little Johnny in there. He still flicks through looking at the list, "But you also didn't answer the question, what are you going to do with the ones that will not sell, even if it is ten percent, most companies are owned by what was it one percent?"

He sighs a bit and looks at it. "I am going to have to convince others about this, and they are going to have even more questions then I do. As I said if your going to do this you need some big names." he thinks about his friend Damian, and his new Friend Oliver as they could do something like this. "It isn't a bad idea and I am trying to give the proper questions so maybe you will succed at it," he sighs abit "And I think you misunderstand if we purchase these shares someone is selling them. If they are Hydra agents ment to collect funds?" he looks at him, "I understand what your trying to do, buy out the subsidiaries, and shell companies like you said all at once so they do not have them to hide behind, and have no tools to gain money for their company." he holds up a small flat item.. "Do you mind if I copy this, I will need to show it to a friend of mine who is actually a CEO before I agree and have our personal lawyer look at it."I will keep it in house so no-one will find it out from me not to mention Hydra isn't even looking at me." he smiles and nods to him as he would be surprised if Hydra even knew anything beyond the public stuff about him.. Maybe there were fans.

"Oh! Also need to know how long before you plan to enact this plan.. As I am assuming with or without us you plan on doing it?" and grins at the man as he sounded more like someone sharing it more then asking for permission.
Roberto Da Costa Roberto da Costa says, "Well, we would have complete control of the businesses, we could use them as we see fit, even strip them down and sell them for parts, distribute them to others to enhance ongoing business concerns, or re-task them. Right, it's 1% of the people owning a large enough voting share of the stock, say 30-57%, they just need a block larger than anyone else has. That's one of the reasons I'm coming to you, DI has the funds but a coordinated attack by organizations that aren't associated with each other will be more effective, The other reason is like you say. There are less eyes on you. if I was in your Mom's office or your Dad's lab questions would be asked.

"Are we? I have some ideas on that but most of the people in our line of work are not that good at the business aspect. I mean if they were someone would have done this already." Roberto smirks at the phrasing, "It is big of you to admit this isn't a bad idea, thank you." He shakes his head, "Not everyone who owns shares in theses shell corporations are HYDRA assets, that's kind of the point, they're legitimate businesses that HYDRA funnels money and resources through. But which 70-47% are owned by people who have no affiliation with HYDRA even in passing, they just like money. These are the people we're buying from in the most part, yes, a small portion will have to come from HYDRA resources to achieve our goal but that is the last portion, we can set the rest up before hand. So, yes some money will find it's way back into HYDRA's pocket but let's just say we have a shell worth 10 billion. Hydra is holding a 40% share of the company, so 4 billions, with loyal parties holding the remaining 1.1 billion, we need to either bring those loyalties over to our side or offer them a better deal. They're proxies who don't necessarily have a stake in HYDRA's plan, like I said they just like money. So, we offer them an better value in Stark, or FantastiCorp or DI, something like that to shift loyalties or we offer them a good deal to stay quiet while we make our move. Then we buy 4 .1 billion in stocks from the remaining 5.9 billion of share holders who are not Hydra minions. And we're off to the races." He smiles, "It's more complicated than that but that is the gist. As for the whole companies that won't sell? If we can get enough of these pieces onto our side, it's like Go as we disrupt their businesses others will fall and make vulnerabilities we can then attack. It's not foolproof but if it was it wouldn't be a game." He shrugs, as he pulls a usb form his pocket and hands it over, "It has the presentation and some data on HYDRA affiliates and shell corpoations to review.""
Franklin Richards Franklin nods, "So let me ask you this, "What do you want from me? I do not have access to Billions of dollars, and if I were to start drawing that out questions would be asked." he nods to him, "My folks are relaxed, but it is because they are smart enough to see something in the works. he chuckles a bit, "If I am hearing you right, and you just need me to buy some shares like I said I am not against helping. Something to keep in mind though, there is a reason why no-one really messes with me one way or the other."

When you getting upset at someone might wipe them from reality all together people tended not to deal with you much after that, but sometimes people didn't know until they found out the hard way. Though he just smiles as he thinks of this not saying any of it for now as how much he could actually do was not super well known. With a final glance at the papers, "Be specific as if I am going to help I need to know what steps I need to take of course."
Roberto Da Costa Roberto da Costa smiles, "Mainly, I am exploring options. You are a mutant with vast powers and a trust fund that could make you a Wayne. Yes, because of your reputation and affiliations people tend not to mess with you, making you a person, who would not bear the same risk of reprisals others would. If you need to ask your parents, don't hesitate to do so, though they are famously neutral on these sort of things. In terms of baby steps I wouldn't mind getting more mutants in the doors of Fantatsticorp. Though that is off-topic. Yes, some level of money would be nice, though it doesn't have to be much, we can make do with what's available and having you as even a passive threat would make most rethink using extranormal means of opposition or reprisal." He shrugs and smiles, "It honestly comes down to knowing who our friends are and taking advantage of what we can get."
Franklin Richards Franklin nods to Roberto, "Alright, well I will take it to a couple of people I know and very quietly pass it around. Also this is between us so if I do go with it then if it is a mistake it is mine not the teams." he also clearifys, "When you are ready to move let me know, though I am going to need a few days to get things in order, though if everything is on the up, and up I would not be against getting into owning, and reframing some shell buisnesses maybe even try for a profit so it is not a bad deal for me either."

Franklin takes out a card, and hands it to him. "Call me in a couple days and I will have update news or if it is just me, and as far as mutants being here it doesn't happen often, but I am often there so maybe I will see ya around at times." as he ment the school as he did go there a lot as to help the X-Men on missions. "Finally if you are getting into this you should double check with your sources to make sure who is who as this could blow up in both our faces if we get it wrong. Measure twice cut once, so next time we talk I expect all the details have been checked."

He stands up, and holds out a hand though he keeps his head down so it is still hard to tell who he was unless yyour were in Roberto's position. "Good luck... I am sure we will meet again soon." and takes a couple of steps back into the crowd, and though you can kind of seen him at times moving away he disapears into the numbers fading back into hiding in plain sight.
