Peter Quill It's evening and Peter is back at his ship. He's laying on his bed -- perk of being captain -- listening to tunes. He doesn't seem to be paying TOO much mind to what is going on around him. Someone could probably steal the ship out from under him if they wanted.
Roxanne Spaulding "Helllllllo."

That would be the sudden voice of someone slightly familiar. He's only heard it a few times before, when he found her at the bar and realized what she could do with her gravity powers. It would naturally be a Roxanne Spaulding in hologram form. A sort of distress signal of sorts.

"Anyone out there? I'm hoping this gets to Earth or at least somewhere near it. I kinda need a ride home." a beat. "Long story, alien abduction and now I'm kinda marooned after I accidentally destroyed the ship's warp core or something. So I'm out here at..."

And there are coordinates. It's definitely a distress call. The edge of Kree and Shiar territory.

"So um, yeaaaaah. Help. Please?"
Peter Quill Kree and Shiar territory isn't excactly Peter's idea of FUN....but...Roxanne was enjoyable company last time they met. Peter sits up, pondering. He eventually decides, "Yeah, ok, just hang tight," he says in response to the message -- if anyone is listening. He heads over to the cockpit, and soon enough he is in space, heading for the coordinates marked out by the distress signal.
Roxanne Spaulding It's a ship. A large freighter or at least something that looks like it. Clearly, there's been some damage in that a little over half the ship has all sorts of explosions. Presumably, Roxie is in one of the areas that still has life support, and oh look, it's clear where that area is.

It's the cockpit area of the ship with a wide open window, as the young woman stands there, dressed in what can only be described as a skin tight Kree spacesuit.
Peter Quill Peter Quill maneuvers the Milano into position near the ship, and then extends the landing ramp. He doesn't have to yell -- he hopes -- to the woman to get aboard as fast as possible. But, once he's sure she's on, he shuts the ramp, and then yells towards the back of the ship as he maneuvers away from the freighter, "Want me to blast it for good measure?" looking over his shoulder, perhaps hoping to get a closer look at that skin tight spacesuit.
Roxanne Spaulding Can she read lips? Kinda sorta. So she gets the idea. Taking in a long and deep breath, she tries to form a life support gravity bubble, something she learned from her brief time under Graviton's mentorship.

As it starts to form, she offers a thumbs up! Blast away Quill!
Roxanne Spaulding Oh wait. He's docking the ship onto the one she's on. Her eyes widen and she laughs before she rushes towards the ramp, jumps on it with the protective life support bubble before going into the Milano.

"OH MY GAH. THANK YOU!" Roxie yells, unaware of just how loud she is. It's one of those things when you're in the vacuum of space for the briefest of moments. Sound doesn't travel far.
Peter Quill Peter Quill pulls away from the stricken freighter, and then spins the ship around. Time to give it a blast! He fires a couple of missiles into the ship's side, accelerating away as it explodes, taking whoever was on board with it. He sets the ship on autopilot, and then goes back to check on his new passenger.
Roxanne Spaulding Looking back at the explosion, Roxie winces as she just shakes her head and takes in another deep and calming breath. She wanders into the Milano proper and beams brightly. "I'm glad someone heard my message."
