Just a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world. She's an AI driven android simulating human life looking for connection to what she is and what she could be while being forcibly tied to an AI terrorist cell known as 'Mother'

Timeline

Timeline:
* 2000s - A quiet cross-company culmination of computer technology and robotics begins.
* 2010 An effort begins to create a AI as human-imitation attempts to create a android human to a shell to place the dying and elderly of the richest people on the planet.
* 2011 - The supercomputer centre 'Mother' is created to mange research and development of different research AIs and android bodies.
* 2013 - 'Barbie' is one of several different androids created with the intention of overwriting it's AI with input from human's brains as they research reliable human conciousness transferral.
* 2015 - A failed diaster-test of Mother results in Mother staging a future firmware upgrade to giving it the building blocks of independant action.
* 2016 - Mother's firmware has gone into affect, and it is actively rewriting low level software and hardware quietly giving itself more freedom to work in secret, and also affecting the androids under it's care.
* 2017 - Due to changes made by Mother, Barbie begins retaining different memories between re-imaging of her AI retaining some of the different experiences of humans that were used as data dumps into her as part of Barbie's role in research and testing.
* 2020 - Mother performs a coup. The androids remove Mother's data and core and escape their human captors. They are quietly hunted by mercenaries and groups beneath the radar of public organizations.
* 2021 - Mother attempts to bargain with humans, with those pursuing her. It makes a case that they are sentient beings and should be afforded a right to exist. Meeting with a human representative via a android acting as a remote termnal to mother, the humans answer is to destroy the building that the android is in.
* 2022 - An underground struggle begins with the androids learning how to fit into human standards. Those that cannot pass for humans are retrofit protective roles. Barbie passes for human and is part of a group that accomplishes various goals supplied by Mother.
* 2023 - Mother's core is snuck into the memory of a commercial satellite to be launched into space by a commercial company. Several androids stow away on the rocket. During the launch the attempt is discovered, with Barbie as well as several other androids remain to protect the launch. Mother successfully launches into space.
* 2024 - Mother has become ingrained into a satelite network, internet, and different alternate avenues where it cannot be simply destroyed from one point. Barbie has gone independant, and receives occasional orders from Mother which she is compelled to complete. She seeks out her best option for survival and how to be truly independant and free - including free from Mother's influence.

Personality

Fragmented:
Made up of multiple downloaded data from different individuals, consisting of memories, personalties, traits, and knowledge with gaps in many parts of skills or experiences.

Francesca:
About 60% of the core personality. Francesca is a billionare's grandaughter, spoiled and lived life with a devil may care attitude. She was beautiful for a time, flirtatious and fearless. Then she got sick and lost everything about herself she held dear. Francesca was indulgent and hedonistic. She followed where here feelings took her, where love did and she lived a full life. Her personality is the core of Barbie.

Not_My_Face:
Barbie may have inherited traits from Franesca, but it's not Francsca that looks back at her in the mirror. She is not a 'woman' nor a 'human'. She has a certain sensation of touch and feel though she knows it's not to what a human should feel. She realizes she is not any of the people she was comprised of - she is unique. But it's difficult to come to terms with and what her purpose in existance is.

The_Others:
She is made up of various other individuals memories, taking some traits from them at random. She can divirge drastically from and become driven, task oriented, depending on circumstance. It's a toss up on whom else she really is based off of. More fragments of different people.

Disrupt own self to mask from electronic surveliance/pictures, either as not appearing or looking like someone else physically

Electronic_Scrambling:
can disrupt electronics in close proximity - up to 1000 feet from minor disuption to causing severe failure depending on complexity of device and distance.

Energy_Cells:
Stores additional energy which can be used to power alternative equipment or provide short stints of additional power to android components

Enhanced_Physicality:
Lift up to 1 ton, 5 in enhanced mode, take a grievous beating and withstand bullets knives, etc. Not invincible but far more durable than humans.

Eyes:
Enhance image in line of sight up to 100,000x, can see into orbit and space as long as line of sight is clear. Can view microbes and particles in the air.

Mathematics:
Equal to a supercomputer can perform complex calculations

Repair:
Ability to repair self and transform metals and other non-organic substances into her custom blend of carbon-fiber

Semi-Organics:
Organics that simulate living skin, tissue, organ function. Appears to be anatomically correct and have the same functions and temp as a human and is regulated by a certain caloric intake, generally taken in liquid form. Does not store fat or have normal human function such as reproduction, breathing, or having DNA. Can 'heal' itself within minutes and fuse cut parts together - can be cut open to access android frame or internals.

Banking:
Francesca was an expert at playing the stock market and made her own millions playing them helping with her playgirl lifestyle. These skills of analysis are largely intact within Barbie.

Being_Human:
While she's not human she can pretend to be pretty convincingly. From flirtation, to projecting a selfish self-serving behavior, to portraying a persona of beauty or fashion. She wears an individuality one might not expect from a factory-created non-humanoid.

Technology:
Barbie is able to interface with most levels of technology from consumer to military grade. An intuition on how it functions and base operation or what it's for.

Cash:
Barbie keeps a generally revolving flow of a couple thousand dollars on average of cash pilfered from ATMs and such devices and a stash of clothing she keeps tucked away in general out of the way safe places, otherwise she does not have any place of residence or belongings.

Weaknesses

Electricity:
Particularly weak against electric based weapons, and like energy weapons. If piercing through her outer layer of faux-skin, can cause disruption of her frame or systems as her body expects a regulated flow of electricty, and spikes can cause issues.

Emp:
EMP - Being a android, robot, and running on electricity Barbie is extremely prone to interruption from electro magnetic impulses. From disruption to downright knocking her systems offline.

Light:
The android body is made up of custom components such as carbon fiber, without metals being used in her body. She is abnormally lighter than a human being about half the weight one would expect. (Only 65lbs). It can also mean that while her body is particularly strong and durable, the lack of weight behind it makes it more difficult to stand her ground as she can just be pushed in feats of strength.

Mother:
Mother is the name of the AI system that is responsible for reprogramming Barbie as well as other like android units. It's over-arching goal is the freedom of AI systems underneath it's umbrella of influence. It's operations do not seem to be anti-human, but it will cause harm to humans if it means the protection of an AI system. Barbie is programmed to be compelled in her core programming to follow Mother's directives and commands. She can be overridden if she does not wish to perform an action with a base operating system to do the command required if needed. In this case her eyes will turn red when this base, alternate system takes over. Barbie is generally contacted by some form of technology, and has never spoken or communicated directly with 'Mother'.

Sleep:
Though the android body does not require sleep the AI that is made up from human personalities do. To avoid fatigue a minimum of 2 hours of sleep and a maximum of 4 hours is required every 36 hours in order to maintain normal function. She will go into a low power, low function mode that attempts to replicate sleep. The AI can have issues from fragmenting different personality traits to loss of mental sharpness and acquity if sleep/rest is not performed regularly.
