Timeline:
2005 - Evening is born on an alternate, sunless Earth called the Black Planet.
2010 - The Black Planet is overrun by the Crim, an interdimensional parasitic race of invaders. Her father, a government scientist, works hard to build an escape route for their race, but is betrated by his government. In the battle Evening's mother, Abyss, is killed, and he pushes Evening through the portal. She arrives in LA, confused and lost, and able to now see ghosts. They lead her to an abandoned school, where she lives with them for almost a year before being taken into the foster system.
2011-2014 - Eve bounces from foster home to foster home due to her weirdness. Eventually her dad shows up and busts her out, and they flee to Pacific City, in Northern California. He builds a hidden, underground base called The Tomb.
2014-2018 - They attract other weird types, forming the found family of the Nocturnals, and her dad becomes a feared gunman and fixer for a mob family. Eve begins attending a secret private school for other weird kids, including but not limited to : ghosts, bog monsters, mutants, wolf people, vampires, and a half-dozen hybrid children she rescued from the evil Narn-K Corporation.
2018-2024 - Numerous run-ins with monsters, the Crim, the Narn-K corporation and a ton od spooky adventures. Eve graduates from the academy.
2024 - She convinces her dad to let her attend Gotham University sos he can began learning more about humans, and try and make 'boring/normal' friends.

Evening Horror was born to Abyss Horror and Nicodemus Horror on an alternate Earth known as the Black Planet. A world without sunlight, and filled with supernatural things people of this Earth would label as 'spooky', but was always normal to them. Abyss died when Eve was till very young, and her world fell apart when she was a child not too long after.
An interdimensional, parastic race known as the Crim began to overtake their planet, and her father was a government scientist working hard to find a way to save them. He built an interdimensional portal, but was betrayed by the government to the Crim as part of a plea deal. He managed to shove his daughter through the portal, and followed a few moments later. However, those few moments stretched out for several years on normal Earth. She ended up on the streets of Los Angeles, struggling to survive as a six year old.
She ended up discovering that she could now see and communicate with ghosts, and she hid out in an old, abandoned private school with her new ghost buddies. She was discovered, eventually, and ended up in the foster system. Due to her weirdness she was moved from foster family to foster family throughout the city. Three years passed before her dad appeared on Earth and sought her out.
He rescued her and they fled LA to the small Northern California town of Pacific City, where he created an underground HQ known as The Tomb. He became an enforcer and 'fixer' for a mob family, where he gained a terrifying reputation. They gathered other 'weird' types around themselves, forming a found family they called the Nocturnals. They fueded with supernatural forces, other mob groups, and a looming, evil corporation known as the Narn K Corporation, who secretly produced synthetic people, and also served as the Crim's Earthly agents.
After many years of insanity and adventures, Eve managed to conviced her VERY protective father that she needed to go out and experience life. So, she's been accepted to Gotham Univerity, and moved across the country!
