Red Reign: Missing Roommate Found
Date of Cutscene: 13 May 2024
Location: Gotham City, Elementals Apartments
Synopsis: Late at Night. Sarah turns off the tv, following GNN's report on more missing cases. She finds herself worrying. She doesn't usually, but she worries. For all the chaos that happens in Gotham, she's always managed to steer clear for the most part. But, now she's been affected. Or rather, someone she knows. Her roommate Grace has been gone for a whole day. Last night, she sent a text about how she met a girl while enjoying the end of her work week, and apparently the two of them were hitting it off. Things like "I think she's into me." and "She's a redhead, she's my Type."

She mentioned that the girl was taking her to her place and then...nothing after. She wasn't answering texts or phone calls. Absolutely nothing all day. It's not like Grace had work keeping her busy. She didn't want to jump to any conclusions. It'd only been a day, and she was staying at another girl's place apparently...still, it seemed that GNN might be the push she needs to call in a missing report. She pulled out her phone and began dialing 9/11. Til she heard the door open.

Looking to the side, she saw her roommate right there. Oh, she's fine! "Jesus, Grace, where've you been?" Grace tilted her head down. "I told you I met someone." She smirked, a slight laugh in her tone.

"Yeah, but I haven't heard from you at all today. I tried texting, I tried calling!...I mean you didn't even tell me you were coming back!" Grace closed the door behind her. "...Lost my phone.""Oh." Sarah sighed. "...Sorry, it's just...people are getting like kidnapped or something left and right lately...When you were a no-show all day, I kinda got worried something happened to you."

"Something DID happen to me." Grace began walking towards her roommate. "Something wonderful...." "..Grace?" The other girl backed away. "...Are...are you alright?" Her roommie was off. Very off. She didn't know how, she just knew she didn't like it. "...You want me to show you what she did? What she and her friends did?...Want me to share it with you, Sarah?" Grace stood up straight, her lips parted, revealing a fanged smile. "Ah!" Sarah shrank back. "Grace!...Okay, ha ha! You got me, now take those off."Grace stepped closer, and Sarah backed away. "Grace?...Grace, this isn't funny anymore cut it out. Grace!" Grace's only response was some sort of inhuman hiss. Sarah got a good look at her eyes. Red. Red as a stoplight. Those weren't contacts, they were glowing. "C'mere, Sarah...Gimmie a kiss..." Then, Grace lunged for her.

Sarah screams, Grace feeds.
