Sitting on her lap for meals became their little thing, or at least his. Besides, Ted had seen her through her awkward super strength phase, feeding her dumplings. Now it was his turn as his hand and arm were still bandaged. This was due to Joan not knowing her own strength. She was getting better. Truth be told, Ted liked having her close and there was no Booster around to make snide remarks. So Ted was getting his share of dumplings. <br><br>To be exact he was happy as could be and being quite cutesy. <br><br>So was Joan. In Ted's opinion.<br> <br>

To an outside observer, the seating arrangement that involved Ted in her lap might raise questions and there was a simple explanation for everything.<br><br>She's sure of it. She just doesn't know what it is yet. Guess they just had to be there to figure out what was going on.<br><br>Having mastered the chopsticks enough to eliminate the growling tummy effects that Ted no doubt felt against his newfound perch, Joan is continuing to practice her motor skills by passing some food off to Ted. It did involve a few extra movements and only one failed attempt early on when she had to twist her wrist a little bit further to reach it's intended destination. She'd probably break that within a second before there was a chance to admire it. But then again, she could eat the evidence too. She's going to be eight feet tall and carry him in her purse or keep crying and crush him. Then he realizes her flying power cut out. So she's heavier than she was five minutes ago. But lighter and smaller than this morning. <br><br>Joan is not objectively speaking, a petite woman. In fact she is on the tall side of average, a few inches shorter than Ted and a lot less volume. <br><br>But at the moment she feels absolutely tiny, delicate and precious. <br><br>Ted grabs some tissues from a box near the couch and nudges Joan to her feet and she sweeps at her face.
