It's a miracle (well, technically it's deliberate) that the steps aren't extremely slippery or icy. They cause no unfortunate Home-Alone like tumbles: they have a good grit to them despite being made of ice.<br><br>The sculptures, roses spiralling up the handrail, move a little bit as the drink bearer approach, and open out of buds as she passes. In this interesting, graceful manner, they agree that yes, the door is the appropriate path, and it falls away smoothly open when touched, though any knock is muted.<br><br>The interior is artfully done, though there are some changes today. Little ice critters flit in and about the ceiling, which is alive with soft little magical activity.
