Usually Hell's Kitchen could be quite dangerous this late at night. But it just might be too late for even the predators and scum. That's what happens to be stalking the late night walker of Jessica during the witching hour of the night. Their predatory nature allows them to move almost silently in the shadows of the alleys through Hell's Kitchen.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;These aren't your usual mindless predators though. They're coordinated, moving as a unit. One lone walker far enough behind her to only be an irritation as he tracks her steps. Another two slither from alley to alley on the cross streets; flickers of dark movement against darker shadow. And one moving towards Jessica, the classic pincher attack.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The one approaching Jessica stops, eyeing her with a toothless sneer on his face. "It's a dangerous place to be out so late for one so vulnerable" he says to her. There's an odd sibilant hiss, too much of a linger on the S sounds of the words given. In the vague light from the street light something strange is noticeable about his eyes--particularly his pupils. They almost look like slits instead of the circles that most have.<br> <br>

She's actually used to being approach after she's drank her fill, just usually by creeps she can handle even while drunk. The last thing she expects is a supernatural assailant. "Yeah, yeah, I know the story, a woman shouldn't be out on her own this late...it's sexist as fuck, you know that?" She gives him a look at the hissing 's' and snorts, "...you don't need to over sell it, I got that you're a creep, just back off."<br><br>Having spoken her warning, she continues to stumble onwards, this time keeping her eyes on him. His second insicors and canines are elongated and look needle sharp.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;There is more hissing as two others move into the dim light from the alley across the street. Their movements are low to the ground and languid, like leopards on a hunt. They spread out covering as much of the ground as they can, cutting off avenues of escape.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"We are oh. So. Hungry. Would be a shame to waste it when a morsel comes into our clutches so readily..." comes another voice, this one from behind Jessica. A shadow slides up beside her position. There isn't a light that should be casting a shadow in the direction that the black silhouette is coming from and it shifts and writhes with an abnormal senes of solidity just to one side on the ground.<br> <br>

His white hooded cloak--likely what allowed him to make the rooftop drop with no damage--billows around his ankles. His face is hidden completely with a white featureless mask. The only truly identifying features on him are the crescent at chest and forehead, standing out only slightly aganist the costume.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"They are however dangerous, especially in numbers" he says, facing the opposite direct to the cornered woman. There is a light emenating *from* him. A dull silver glow that pushes against the darkness the creatures are somehow creating. "I know you're hesitant to fight... but this might be a call for it... if you're willing."<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The vampires--what else could they be--hiss and recoil at the sight of the man and his silvery light. A literal fucking knight in white armor jumping in to save her from distress. It almost pushes the sexist point the vampires were accidentally making and it irks her to no end. Then again, she has to admit to just how drunk she is, and maybe it's a good idea to have someone else to even out the numbers. That knowledge is what keeps her from straight offending the new challenger.<br><br>Jessica, naturally takes advantage of the arrival of Moon Knight distracting the baddies, and immediately proceeds to sucker punch the one facing her straight in the jaw, very likely suprising him with the revelation that she has super strength.<br> <br>

That unnature darkness seems to slow his progress acting more like jelly than anything immaterial. Still the force that he strikes the building to one side is bone snapping and his neck jerks in an unnatural fashion and he lays still for a moment. And then starts to slowly rise to his feet.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The attack is all the others need to jump to action. Hisses and sounds that are more animal than human come from the other three. Another one of them, a woman with silver-blonde hair and pale brown skin that shows patches of scales that shimmer, lunges for Jessica, her mouth open and hands tipped with serated claws instead of fingernails.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In the meantime, two others jump for Moon Knight. He grabes the one lunging for him and slams a fist into the side of its face. There is a brutal impact and the vampire hits the ground, bouncing back up with complete disregard for the unnatureal shift of it's jaw. The final one, the one that had been behind Jessica this whole time doesn't move, still something like a tendril of pure darkness flashes out and strikes Moon Knight across the face, there is a thud of connection and the Knight staggers a bit from the shadowy strike.<br> <br>
