Heavenly Host

The Host are those beings called angels, created to ensure the continuity of the universe and protect it from aberrant [[[ideologue]]]s.

Four of that number are Archangels. Creatures of supreme willpower and purpose, the archangels command Heaven's armies and dispense the will of the Creator to the lower forms of angelic life.

Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael remain in Heaven. Their brother [[[Lucifer]]] Fell after defying the Creator.

Subordinate angels are given increasingly stricter orders and reduced amounts of knowledge or power. Following Lucifer's fall, many angelic creatures had their independence and willpower vastly diminished. The lowest orders of Angels are practically automatrons, tasked with (relatively) simple orders and directives.
