Howard Stark Jr. was the second in the line of the Stark Shipping Corporation. A gifted mechanical engineer, he would team up with [[[Nikolai Tesla]]] and develop a wide array of technologies that would impact the world for a century to come. His son, [[[Tony Stark]]], would become the CEO of Stark Technologies and the superhero known as Iron Man.

Howard Stark and his wife were murdered by the [[[Natasha Romanov|Black Widow]]] on December 16, 1995, in a vehicular assault on their car.
