Former lead singer of rock band 'Clockwork Meow Meow' October Everhart never thought she'd make it past twenty seven. Now in her thirties, she's determined to keep on living a party lifestyle alongside her role presenting a podcast on nineties music.
Best friends forever with 'Clockwork Meow Meow' bassist Kim Hayes, the two former roommates have had their bond challenged by October relocating to Gotham in 2022. Can they manage to keep the closeness they've shared since high school or will life get in the way?

Timeline:
* 1994: Born in Roslindale, Boston to teenage mother Amy. Amy and October both live with Amy's parents Helen and Christopher.
* 1998: Amy starts training to be a nurse.
* 2002: Amy gets a nursing job in Portland, Maine and she and October move there.
* 2005: October joins her school choir and gets praised for her singing voice.
* 2007: October tells her teachers she wants to be a rockstar when she grows up.
* 2009: October and her high school friends form shoegaze band 'Clockwork Meow Meow'. October takes on the role of lead vocalist.
* 2010: October runs off to New York with her bandmates to explore their musical careers. Amy gives her blessing for her daughter to pursue her dreams.
* 2011: 'Clockwork Meow Meow' releases self-titled EP.
* 2012: 'Clockwork Meow Meow' breaks up. October and bassist Kim Hayes continue to be roommates.
* 2013: October gets a job in a second-hand clothes store.
* 2015: October starts dating heavy metal musician 'Faust' who only ever performs on stage when wearing a gas mask.
* 2022: October moves out of her shared apartment with Kim and into a new place in Gotham with 'Faust'.
* 2024: October starts presenting her own podcast on the 'Favourite Things' network. The station specialises in shows asking guests their five favourite things in various genres. October's show focuses on nineties music.

Lazy Bones:
October would happily lay around all day, listening to music and chatting with people she loves. If only she didn't have to earn a living! This laziness spreads to other areas of her life too, such as her appearance. Despite having conventional good looks, she does little to make the most of herself. Her hair is often messy, her clothes creased and unwashed and her makeup, when she can be bothered to wear it, always seems to be slightly smudged like she slept with it on. Her apartment is utter chaos. She often believes she's lost a beloved item, only to find it weeks later under a pile of stuff. As for doing the dishes? Well there's always takeout if there's none clean.
Nineties Throwback:
October feels like she was born at the wrong time. She wasn't even alive when grunge was at its most popular! She envies her mother Amy who was born in 1978 and therefore got to spend her entire teens years in the nineties. To make up for the fact that October missed out on what she sees as the coolest era ever, she dresses in nineties clothes, watches nineties TV shows, listens to nineties music and even presents a podcast where she interviews guests about their favourite songs of the decade.
Party Girl:
Despite now being in her thirties, October has no plans to stop her party girl lifestyle. She's pretty much always in the mood to be sociable. This is something that can annoy her boyfriend when she brings back people from bars to share a bottle or two at their apartment. Away from his stage persona, the heavy metal star is actually very shy and would much prefer to keep their home life private.
