Strategic Scientific Reserve

The Strategic Scientific Reserve was a department of the Allied War Effort tasked with studying exotic and alien materials and sciences in an attempt to enhance warfighters. Products of the SSR research included the Super-Soldier program, Captain [[[Steve Rogers]]], and insight into [[[Kree]]] research into the human genome.
The SSR was dissolved at in 1949, and with the signing of the North Atlantic Treaty, was reintegrated as a component of [[[SHIELD]]].
