The Rocketeer, pulp hero of the 30's flier of the skies and defender of justice. He's a
true blue american hero and he's here to save the day no mater the threat foreign or domestic.
Timeline

Timeline:
*1906 Born into a loving family Cliff helps his father out on the farm.
*1916 Clif's
father goes overseas to assist in the great war.
*1917-1918 While his father is away in the
great war Clif uses the family crop duster to bring in money for the farm. Gains a love of flying in
the process.
*1938 Events of The Rocketeer take place. His plane is shot down by gangsters,
he discovers a rocket pack that allows him to become the rocketeer and foils a nazi plot with help
of Howard Stark.
*1939 Work on the new and improved rocket pack is completed.
*1940
Clif is drafted into the US Army Air Corp as a pilot. He continues his work as The Rocketeer in
Secret assisting the war effort in disguise.
*1943 Shot down over enemy territory, Clif is
experimented on by HYDRA scientists for months. Though the super soldier serum is deemed a complete
failure it grants him drastically slowed aging which won't be noticed for some time.
*1945
At the end of the war Clif signs on with the SSR seeking to do more good for the world.
*1946 Jenny gives birth to twins.
*1983 Jenny Blake dies of complications during
surgery. Clif takes an extended vacation from shield at the realization that he's not aging the same
as those around him.
*1992 Clif Officially retires from SHIELD to spend time with his
family.
*2021 With SHIELD branded as Terrorists, Clif dons back the mantle of Rocketeer to
investigate the situation hoping to figure out what's happened to the organization.

Ready to take on the world if needed he's a headstrong individual who never knows when to quit
even when it's in his best interests to do so.

He's a protector at heart willing to give of himself to take care of those around him no matter
what the cost may be.

Stalled Aging:
Due to the HYDRA experimentation Clif no longer ages like normal human beings. His physical
status maintains as that of the age he was when he was subjected to the experimentation all though
it does not improve his healing factor or provide any other benefits.
The Pack:
The Rocket pack allows the user to maintain prolonged flight at speeds of 500 miles per hour.
It's fueled by simple alcohol.

Piloting:
Clif is a master pilot with a lifetime of training and skill under his belt. He knows everything
that goes into flying craft from biplanes and triplanes to propellers to rockets to jetfighters and
everything between. He's especially skilled in flying his custom built rocket pack.
Shield Training:
Having passed through all of the required shield training and kept up with it over the years
clif is skilled in the arts of survival marksmanship and cqc making him a good all around operator
if not particularly remarkable in any one area.

Pension:
Clif has served his full 30 years in the military granting him a full pension from the us army.
This allows him all the finances he needs to live his life, though he still works from time to time
to pick up the extra slack left behind.
The Pack:
The Rocket pack allows the user to maintain prolonged flight at hypersonic speeds. It's fueled
by standard rocket fuel which is mixed with a proprietary chemical mix to improve its efficiency.

Overconfidence:
Overconfidence is an insidious killer. Clif is fully confident in his abilities and one of these
days it's going to get him killed. He's not willing to give up, and he's not willing to back down,
meaning that he often puts himself in life threatening and potentially life ending situations
because he fully believes that he can come back out the other side.
