Synopsis: Batgirl and Elektra track down more Lycan jerks. There's fighting, blood, explosions, and some chit chat in the dirty Gotham Narrows.
Cast of Characters: Barbara Gordon, Elektra Natchios

Barbara Gordon has posed:
With Batgirl manning the front chair within the cockpit-styled cabin of the Batmobile that Babs employs, this leaves Elektra seated behind her, slightly elevated enough to peer over Babs' shoulder just enough to see her display screens, should she wish to look, but her own display screens show essentially the same amount of information, which is to say a whole lot. From car status, to Gotham City status, to even the Clocktower itself, the displays within this heavily tech-based armored vehicle are quite modern and quite nice! Nothing less for the Tech-Bat of the Gotham Bat family...

The hot city night is yet steamy outside the chilled air of the vehicle's interior, the Batmobile rushing down the streets of the Narrows toward the abandoned Roller Rink not too terribly far away. The city map shows how far the vehicle is in fact, along with reports of activity pinging around the city... It's a treasure trove of Gotham City surveilance.

Babs' green eyes look up in to the mirror hanging from the canopy of her cockpit, she looks back to Elektra. "Do you need anything before we do this?" She asks, her feminine voice contrasting quite a bit against the otherwise dark and broody Batmosphere of all of this...

The city buildings rush by outside, dark and mostly abandoned, derelict and rundown. The vehicle's rumbling engine bounces off of the walls enclosing them, and the heavy huge wheels splash through dark water puddles gathered around the rough Gotham City roads...

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Elektra will admit that she thought the Batmobile had a shotgun seat. Because how -fun- is it to have the other seat be *behind* the driver? She finally has the proof that the Bats get -no-fun at all in their cars. Ahh, if only she had brought her sports car. Alas...

It's these kind of amusing thoughts that run through Elektra's mind after the brush with death they just went through minutes ago. Living life at 100 miles per hour, all the time. Because life was just too short to do anything else. And she still had much to do. Still, she had seen the sparkle of excited green on Barbara's eyes when they were fighting before. Elektra had an inkling she knew how to have fun. "I have never been inside one of these." she admits as they race through the city.

"I don't suppose you have a few extras for me." Extras. Because Elektra is known for blowing up cars like they were nothing.

Yet the more they get closer to their target, the more she sees the abandoned, derelict buildings she also knows they will be fighting again soon. It gets her blood running hot again, focused in the kill. The question is answered, "Not until we are done with them." whatever does she mean with that!

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Barbara shows a smirk at this request. "I'm afraid not. These things are barely street legal as it is, and even that... might be open for debate." She replies with her eyes dropping back to the road as she makes right hand turn down another side street, the heavy vehicle bounding over a dip in the old unmaintained roadway!

More water splashes across the street outside, after the heavy rainfalls earlier this evening. The Batmobile roars down the street with a few homeless people outside looking up from the liquor store that they mill about outside of. One of them shouts something at them, and Elektra will see the car's computer targeting his face and ID'ing his name, and past police record, automatically...

"Besides. If we gave these things out, then where's the excitement in getting to ride in one?" She poses with a dry sense of humor edging her words before she turns down an alleyway with a hard vibration rolling through the vehicle at the sudden turn!

The armored car bounds down the alley now, sending refuse up in its wake, as it makes a small jump across a drainage ditch, landing on the other side with ease, and heading toward another mouth on to the next street.

The sensor pings indicate some vehicles up ahead, and Babs' green eyes look down to them on the city GPS map. Up in the sky there are several Bat-drones flying high above, giving the Batmobile this sensor information, and live feeds of whats happening in the general vicinity around them, and as they come up on the street, Babs is looking in the mirror again.

"Are you familiar with--"

She's cut off before she can finish that question, as the Batmobile pulls out on the street, and is instantly peppered with gunfire! Bullets ping off of the armored car, sending sparks flying around it as it is turned sharp to the right, its heavy wheels skidding on the wet pavement outside! Babs works the controls and guns the car forward with a roar of its engine! "We have friends, it seems..." She says then, with a van behind them, one man hanging out of it with a fully automatic Uzi in his right hand, that he's aiming up at the back of the Batmobile!

"Have you ever fired a turret before?" Babs finishes her question finally, as a thud above Elektra's head is heard, when the turret behind her chair raises up in to place, arming itself, and showing off its armament options on Elektra's video displays.....

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Whatever made you think..., I care about street legal?" A drawl to Elektra's tone. Now she's just teasing the other woman as they take that turn to the side street. One doesn't even need to look over the rearview mirror to see the sparkling amusement on the assassin's eyes. Maybe this is how she keeps her head in the game. For one can't be a killer all the time.

Her eyes roam over the computers in display. It's very impressive. "I will give you a point for that one." about the excitement on riding in one of these. Then she is tapping on the computer, "I do wonder what you have on your files about me..." uh oh.. But her search is interrupted when those vehicles are pinged ahead.

Danger.

One doesn't need the computers to figure it out. So when the shots come she doesn't flinch. "Friends..." she smiles, "I believe it's time to greet them then..." oh yes, she is definitely a go to using that turret.

"I am a quick learner." This about if she ever shot one. She looks at the various options in display and...

"Let's go with .50 cal." See? She didn't even go for the missiles. Maybe she is showing restraint. She takes hold of the commands and then turns it towards the source, "I promise to try not to kill them." 'try' is the keyword here. And then she presses the red button.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The mini gun on top of the Batmobile opens up with a barrage of fire from its three long-barreled guns! The vibrations that roll through the Batmobile cause the gun to sound muffled outside, making it sound repetitive and loud, but still not as loud as it would be outside of the vehicle's cockpit! It just starts to tear at that Van, the man hanging out of it jumping back inside for cover, while the van itself rocks from the left of the street, to the right, with its windshield bursting in to small shards of glass that rain down upon the driver who is also ducking behind the steering column for fear of his life ending!

Babs watches Elektra's shots, while she keeps the Batmobile behind another of the vans in front of them. The two doors open up on the back of the Van in front of them, and inside it a sudden appearance happens... a Lycan...

It roars as it leaps out of the van, and lands right crotch-first in Babs line of sight. It looks down at the two women inside the bubble canopy, snarling loudly as it raises a mighty paw up to slap at the glass with a hard strike! a splintering crack can be seen in the glass, right between where Babs and Elektra sit within the car, as the beast reaches up to smash at the top once more!

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"So this is why she spends so much time on those stupid video games..." Elektra murmurs as she fires that minigun. Admittedly this is a lot of fun. Yet who is that 'she' she mentions. Probably someone young considering the way she said it. Does she have a daughter or what the heck is happening here? But no time for chit chat because....

"That's a fucking lycan." State the obvious, Elektra. And she didn't need the crotch-first landing on the batmobile. At least it's not right in her face like it is for Babs. Maybe it's a good thing there isn't a shotgun seat in the Batmobile.

"I can't get a good shot.." This as she tries to turn the turret towards the lycan but it's stuck. This isn't good, but ....

"Switching to the electricity burst." Hopefully it will be enough. She taps on the screen and starts to feel that rising hum of electricity charging. Oh boy....

The bar that appears on the screen starts rising. Up and up. Red. A blink. She clicks.

Electricity shoots out.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"He's trying to crush the turret!" Batgirl shouts from her forward seat in the cockpit. She's maintaing the vehicle's course via her controls, and the screens in front of her providing a few of the street, so she doesn't have to stare in to Lycan crotch! Babs pushes the throttle forward while Elektra charges the electricity cannon now, and the Batmobile barrels forward right in to the back of the van that he leapt out of!

The huge Lycan monstrosity slams his paw down on the canopy again, while holding the cannon with his other, partially just for stability, as Babs drops back again, only to lay on the gas once more to ram the van again!

Just as the cannon charges, and is fired, the drones from above launch tiny rockets that all swirl in circles around one another, six in total, all descending toward the Lycan as well! The electricity burst stuns the beast, as the rockets slam in to its chest, just as Batgirl slams the vehicle in to the back of the van causing the final thrust of the Lycan to get launched back inside the open doors of the bulky moving van ahead of them!

No more Lycan crotch in her way now, Babs pulls hard on the steering and sends the Batmobile around the left side of that same van, gunning it to cause the Batmobile to drive up on to its side, her eyes looking over at the man driving said Van. She glares at him.

"Take them out." Batgirl says back to Elektra then.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Music to her ears. Maybe there's hope for this one still. At least that's what Elektra was counting on and she was rarely wrong. And with the turret now back to full operation? She goes back to the basics. Good ol' .50 cal. Aiming right at that truck driver. And that they aren't silver? It probably won't matter much considering the caliber. Or at least that's what Elektra is counting on.

The minigun starts rotating again, a whirr of action, right through that van door as if it was paper and to the still-to-transform lycan that was driving. Shots burst through the man at speed and even as the man attempts to transform in the cramped quarters of the driver's seat he just starts getting sliced apart by the bullets. It's not a nice sight. But then again in Gotham that was common. Death in everyone's tongue, just around the corner.

The truck starts verging out of control but she knows there's still one lycan. Inside the back.

"Open the canopy, Batgirl." That's a gamble. If she misses the lycan will be right on top of them. Her words are firm though, void of any emotion or playfulness of before. It's the assassin talking.

And if she does open that canopy Elektra stands up, drawing out a long blade made of silver. It reflects off the moonlight as they continue driving through the streets and she waits, blade held high, waiting for the lycan to come out of the back to jump towards them.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Babs eyes are jumping all around her displays, the road, the van beside them, as Elektra pours bullets in to that driver's door, and the driver on the other side of it. She remains calm, though, just driving the vehicle and keeping them lined up precisely with the van as it goes through this ordeal!

When the command to open the canopy comes, Babs slams the control, and the canopy raises up a few inches, then starts to glide forward to let the hot wind from outside rush over the two women inside!

"Be careful!" Batgirl warns as she drives, just in time to see that side door thrust open, smoke pouring out of it, as the Lycan inside roars, recovered from the damage it took moments ago... it grabs on to either side of the van's right side, then lunges toward Elektra to try and tear her apart! Only her skill with a blade is damn near unmatched for a mere street thug turned muscled were-dog-man!

From the sky, the Bat-drones whirl down between the buildings, six of them buzzing above the fight, as they monitor the situation, and through them, Barbara gets a birds eye view of it all.

"I'm taking the van out." Batgirl says, as she just pulls hard right on the steering, and sends the armored Batmobile in to the side of the van, causing it to run right in to a cement column beneath a elevated train track above! The van slams hard, and instantly catches fire as its engine overheats!

Rushing under the train tracks now, the Batmobile roars down the street... both vans eliminated...

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Just as Elektra expected. The Lycan jumps right into the warm embrace of the Assassin. She waits till that last moment, almost feeling that spittle coming out of the lycan's mouth as it opens it's jaws to bite her head off. She moves fast as a serpent, body weaving to the side and down and instead of her head what the lycan finds is her silver sword. It slices through him, top to bottom, a shower of blood that is thankfully mostly to the side even if some of it still splatters off her armor.

The lycan falls on the road. Dead.

She slides back down, sheathing the sword, cranking the canopy close. She watches what is happening through the monitors, the use of the drones.

This is certainly a Batgirl she wouldn't want to get on the bad side of. Well, depending on the bad side really.

Yet as that last van explodes there's a release of breath. The danger was gone. "This was what we needed to." an assurance that they did the right thing in killing them.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Batgirl sees blood on the canopy when it slides back in to place after Elektra settles back down in to her seat behind Babs. This has the green eyes looking back at the assassin again. "I hope that was all his, and not any of yours." She quietly grunts out at the other woman before her eyes go forward again.

The Batmobile takes another turn, and there it is, the roller rink... quiet and dark, boarded up even with old wooden planks.

Batgirl is aiming the vehicle for an alleyway when she suddenly slams on the brakes causing the heavy armored car to skid to a stop.

The headlights shine down a dark alley, but blocking it just a little is a single female figure, staring right at them as she just stands there... completely calm.

It's Eve Corvinus...

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Blood had been shed once again. It was the second time tonight they had been in a battle for their lives. Elektra felt her heart thundering inside her chest. It was an exhilarating feeling, making her feel alive. Eyes bright. She was breathing hard now and ..., would it be the third battle they would have tonight?

Elektra was certainly looking forward to that.

What she wasn't expecting at *all* is what they find when they reach that rink. Eve Corvinus? There's a pause out of the Hand Assassin. "That's .., Eve." she tells Barbara, "Selene's daughter. Let's step out. She should not attack us but ..., stay sharp.."

As if Batgirl needed that advice!

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The Batmobile's headlights shine upon the seemingly young woamn in black, dressed almost identically to how her mother dresses too. Of course, Babs has no idea who this is, and Elektra's explanation only makes her glance up at the sight of elektra over her shoulder. "I see..." Babs says back in a grim tone of voice.

A mere moment later and the Batmobile's canopy is clicking, shifting, and opening up again...

Both women inside are given way to the ability to rise up and exit the vehicle, Batgirl just rises up though, and puts one foot up on the edge to stare down at the pale skinned woman with the dark hair down to her shoulders.

Eve just stares back.

"You two have really ruffled some feathers tonight." Eve says in an American accented voice, unlike that of her mother's. "I'm afraid you've run out of targets here though. Word's gotten out, everyone is fleeing for cover." Eve then explains before her eyes leave Batgirl, and look then to Elektra.

"And hello. It's nice to meet you... finally."

Elektra Natchios has posed:
In a way Barbara knew pretty much as much Elektra did now. The girl's name. What she was in relation to Selene. The rest? It was a mystery for Elektra still. But she was here and maybe willing to talk. So perhaps there would be answers to be found.

Elektra rises after Batgirl does. The werewolf blood still clings to parts of her armor. Along with some still within the car. It's the kind of scent that sharp senses may pick up.. The assassin slides over the side of the car to stand firmly on ground. Hands stay weaponless.

"The lycans have ruffled enough feathers in Gotham too." she counters, "But you know what they are doing, don't you?" she then inclining her head back at Eve.

Her tone grows a touch softer. "It is good to meet you as well."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The smell of the smoke from that burning van beyond the overpass from the chase lingers in the air. The deep blanket of the night sky looms over head, and the sounds of Gotham City fill the rest of the ambience out, the Narrows no less.

"Yeah. It would seem so, and yes, I am well aware of what they're doing." The young woman states back as she steps out of the direct light of the Batmobile, which Babs stays right where she is, foot up on its edge, the other planted down in her seat, with her cape and red hair flowing gently in the night wind.

Eve looks between the two women now, but leaves her gaze ultimately on that of Elektra.

"They're preparing to win their war." She tells the assassin. "The Vampire Elders are going to finally let their arrogance get the better of them. The rest? Well, they'll be hunted down in time."

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Elektra's own hair flows in the wind now too. Untamed from the warrior's knot it was bound to after that stunt she did with her sword and the moving batmobile. She folds her arms together over her chest, dark eyes inspecting the girl. So eerily similar to Selene but also so different. But no doubt that it was her daughter. Elektra knew Selene too well to ever think otherwise.

"And where do you stand in the middle of this war?" She then inquires. "With Selene?.." a beat, "With Lucien..?" she wasn't sure where her allegiances were.

"Does Selene know about this?"

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Eve takes another step toward the two women, and the Batmobile. She does it to lean forward to stare at the blood strewn across the vehicle's surface. It makes her smirk then, while Elektra poses those questions at her. She then looks over at the woman again, and takes another step back, her hands just rest at her side. She's wearing a black bodysuit not unlike that of Selene's, a corset over it even, though hers is a dark brown leather, rather than black. She's also wearing a jacket over it, but not a trench coat, a jacket with laces up the outside of the sleeves showing off some of her arms underneath, as her bodysuit would seem to be sleeveless beneath the jacket.

"Selene doesn't know a lot of things." Eve responds flatly, in a way that might sort of annoy Elektra. "I stand with Lucien. He saved me, he raised me. He told me what the Vampires have done. I support him in his revenge..."

She glances down the filthy city street. "It's a shame they took Selene." She says then, looking back to Elektra. "I was going to tell her everything..."

Babs is motionless, save for the effect of the wind, having learned from the best after all.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Damn right Eve's tone annoys Elektra. It has the assassin narrow her eyes. Her jaw tightens just so. She stays in silence for a few moments, just watching the girl. The similarities she sees but in a way also so different. The confirmation that she is with Lucien has the woman grunt. An acknowledgement. A confirmation of what she suspected, "You support him enough that you would go against your own Mother?" she asks.

"She did not know that you lived." She still remembers seeing Selene and how shaken she got when she found Eve. When she found her to be alive.

There was much Elektra could ask after. Perhaps about finding a solution. A way to stop this war. It all gets put aside when Eve says Selene has been taken. "Who took her?" her tone has grown cold. Ice.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
That last question gets Eve to look back to Elektra, her eyes are almost exactly like Selene's. "Her people." Eve replies, looking up to Batgirl and nodding toward her.

"I'm afraid you're mistaken." Barbara fires back from her standing position over her car.

"Humans." Eve says further, showing a coy smirk at the Bat's reaction. Her eyes go back to Elektra then. "The same people who took my father, plucked him from the river, along with my mother. They held them for months, before the Vampires came for Selene. They freed her, and left me to die..."

Eve takes a breath in then, and glances down at the nails of her left hand, raising it up to stare at them for a moment. "My father was killed in their custody, their endless experiments." The young woman informs, as she lowers her hand again, and raises her eyes again to the two women.

"I'm the best of both worlds, you see. Lycan, like my father. Vampire, like my mother, and yes... I side with Lucien. The Lycans were slaves to the Vampires. We're paying them back for that kindness..."

Elektra Natchios has posed:
There's a glance over her shoulder at Barbara. Elektra is confused for a moment until Eve then explains what happened. Lips press together, she listening to it and finally nods. An understanding to it but also a commitment.

For would anyone expect for Elektra to not do all she could to save Selene? From the gates of Hell themselves if needed.

"She is your mother. Suffering the same fate you once did and here you are.., looking at your nails." Judgement in your tone. Perhaps not wise to do so in what seems to be quite the powerful opponent. But Elektra is done with playing nice.

"You know where she is, don't you? Tell me." She says, "If Lucien was ever truthful to you then you will know Selene never played the Elders games. She is not your foe. Nor Lucien's.." bit of a stretch maybe. She knows they are natural enemies.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Eve seems almost amused by Elektra's drive. Her passion. "Boy. I can see it in your eyes. I can hear it in your tone, and I can smell it in your hot blooded veins. The love. I almost find it endeering, if it wasn't rooted in so much ignorance toward how much they've played you both to do their bidding..."

"Lets keep this civil." Batgirl grimly warns them both. "We're not out for violence, we're out for answers."

"Tell that to all the ones you've killed already." Eve shoots back up to Babs, before she looks back to Elektra. "The Humans have her, who knows where she could be by now. They have facilities all over the globe. But it's for the best... I suppose. What I had planned to tell her? It probably would've gotten her killed anyway..."

Eve smirks again, and shakes her head softly. She even laughs a little. "Look. Assassin. You've done your best to support my mother, but you have gotten yourself in to something that predates you by hundreds of years. Hundreds of years of lies... murders... and endless misery. We're on the precipice of ending it now though, and should you help us do that... we can find Selene afterward, together."

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"That's where we are different." Elektra says back to Eve, just barely refraining from snarling at the girl. For what it's true she had weaknesses, and Selene could be one of them. As much as she was a strength. No matter that they weren't together anymore. But it didn't mean the feeling didn't remain. That what they had wasn't real. She knew it had been.

"I care about finding her, not on who played who." Bit of a lie. She of all people is a manipulator. A player. She -always- cares on what agenda is being fulfilled.

Eyes narrow a touch, "You are talking of old secrets, of wars." And then it comes. The offer. A deal with the Devil. She looks at Babs briefly, then back to Eve.

"You will need to tell us what you intended to tell Selene." she finally says, "If you want our help that is."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Eve releases an amused laugh at Elektra's words, that last bit having her shake her head as she walks toward the Assassin now, moving up to stand on Elektra's right side. She leans toward her. "Selene is, and has been, living a lie." She says in a near-whisper, the sound of a gunshot ringing out in the distance, which causes Batgirl to look in said direction. She frowns.

Such is the way with the Narrows though. Eve glances toward it too, she is quiet for a moment. "Drug deal." She says. "Sounds like they're fighting for the gun now." She laughs softly again, after displaying her keen hearing ability. Her dark brown eyes go back to the two women. "Hopefully they both die."

She turns away from Elektra and starts to walk back toward the front of the Batmobile, her eyes down upon it. "God, this is quite a ride... How do you even get something like this?" She asks, perhaps changing the subject? Or perhaps just enjoying having something over her mother's lover?

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Elektra is considering a lot of things right now. The best way to strangle the girl. Or perhaps testing how vulnerable she is to silver. Of course that there would be the inconvenient of having to explain to Selene on -how- she had killed her daughter. But soooo tempting. Having to deal with June as her student has helped her deal with these young ones though so in a remarkable display of self-control she simply exhales now.

"We all live lies of our own making. Sometimes lies coming from others. You? Still too early to tell." her tone is firm but not aggressive. Perhaps in a way calling out the girl's bluff.

"You care for her still. If you didn't you wouldn't be here, talking to us." she turns to look towards her, making no mention of that display of hearing ability. It -is- impressive. But no need to inflate the girl's ego even further.

The last question has her smirk though. "You don't. I asked Batgirl the same."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"A lot of cereal box bar codes, and a very long wait after mailing them." Batgirl says back down to Eve, after Elektra, in a bit of dry humor, laced with absolutely no amusement at the young woman who is playing so coy with them.

This gets a smile, and a snort from Eve, who just stands by the front right wheel of the vehicle now. She looks back up to Babs, and then over to Elektra.

"The Vampires told Selene that the Lycans killed her parents. That after being turned in to a Vampire, that she could seek her revenge upon them... That she could use her new found 'powers' to get the revenge upon them that she so desired..."

Eve then just gently shakes her head as she looks back toward where that gunshot had come from.

"One of them is weeping... like a little child..." She quietly says then.

Following that, another gunshot rings out. "Oops... Well, now the crying has stopped."

Batgirl makes fists with her gloved hands, trying not to lash out in her own ways. She just stays where she is though, as this is sadly more important... in the moment.

Eve looks back then, a smile present upon her pale lips, but it fades away quickly. Now, she just flatly stares. "The Vampires killed Selene's family. Viktor... killed them. Then... he Sired her, because she reminded him of his daughter. The daughter that he set to flame, beneath the rays of the sun... because she dared to love a Lycan... dared to fall for a filthy dog... a slave.... no less."

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Another night in Gotham. Another death. Elektra is no stranger to it. To the reality of death. She had delivered too much to be moved by any such attempts to sway her to action or reaction. Yet she knows this is not being done towards her. It's to Batgirl. One arm lifts just so. A subtle gesture with her hand.

For Batgirl to not fall for her tricks. For tricks is what Eve was trying to do now. It takes one to know one after all. Elektra had been a killer for the Hand, taking full advantage of smoke and mirrors. Misdirection..

What Eve says next though? That rocks her to the core. She knew of the story. Selene had confided on her enough to share what had happened to her family. But this? It has her blink.

"That Lycan. It was Lucian, wasn't it?"

She takes in a breath, for a moment unsure on how to handle this information. On how to process it all, "And what are you going to do? Kill Victor?" she finally asks.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Eve just keeps her eyes locked on Elektra, and she slowly nods her head up and ddown at that last question. "We're going to kill Viktor. We're going to kill, all of them." She even smiles briefly again. "Selene? Well. She'll have a chance. I've convinced Lucien to give her that, but... that won't mean she's safe. She's upset a lot of people within our group, as I'm sure you can understand. But, we have to kill the Elders first, then... we find her, and tell her the truth."

She pauses then, and glances back toward Batgirl, and then the Batmobile again. "Assuming she's not already dead, of course... Like they did to my father. The Humans are without a shred of care when it comes to their unconsionable pursuit of 'science'."

"Can I go on a ride in this thing?" Eve asks for Batgirl then.

"Unlikely." Batgirl responds flatly, causing Eve to visibly frown.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
That's what Eve gets for being a brat. Refusal to ride the Batmobile. "Sorry, that's a two seater and she's already got a rider." Elektra informs the young woman. Well, 'young'. She isn't even sure how old Eve is.

Elektra doesn't get too upset about Eve not being able to guarantee Selene's safety. One problem at a time. Elektra would find a way. "I am sure I could change the mind of those that Selene has upset in the past. Send them my way sometime.." bit of a bravado but it's an invitation to settle things once and for all. Without Selene being present, it could all but end ok.

Her gaze finally goes to Batgirl. "What do you say? Should we do this?"

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"I don't think I can." Batgirl says. "I can't be responsible for Gothamites becoming ... whatever these Lycans are. This war, needs to go back to its own homeland, and leave Gotham's people be."

"Be homeless wretches, left to die in the gutters by the city's corrupted wealthy?" Eve assks of Batgirl, before shaking her head side to side. "These people have joined us to try and 'be' something. Try to 'do' something, and 'fight' for something in their lives. Because we're offering them a chance to be, do, and become."

Eve's eyes go from the Caped Crusader, to that of Elektra. "Join us, or not. But you need to stop fighting us. We are avenging Selene's family, with or without your help. I'd prefer with it, I'd also prefer... not to have to kill you, or your pointy eared friend here." She motions toward the Bat. "She's got friends, I know. But I have more than they do."

She's being all arrogant about their power! But she might be right...

Elektra Natchios has posed:
There's a slow nod given to Babs, almost as if Elektra already expected it, "It's Gotham.." she explains to Eve, "The Bats don't take lightly to attacks on their people. Wretched or not. You are turning them into monsters.." she states.

"Do you really think you can get to the Elders without Selene though? Finding her, saving her. Telling her what you know. It could tip this war in your favor. Instead of continuing to do what you have been doing for ages." Elektra shakes her head, "Do you have -any- info on how and where she was taken though?" she finally inquires.

Elektra trying to still push for info on Selene. Because even if she does somewhat care about the toll this war is taking on Gotham everyone knows what her focus would be here.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"I don't." Eve says right back at the continued questions of her mother. "But I know who does." She then adds, tacking a sweet little smile on to that for Elektra too. "The prooooblem, however, is that I can't share that kind of information with someone I can't trust." She further says, further kicking up the coy behavior too as she reaches her right hand out to trace a little line in to the blood strewn across the armored front right wheel of the Babsmobile.

"I could share it with an ally though." She states next, looking up to the two women again, though keeping her chin down, showing a smile yet still though.

Finally, she exhales, and raises her chin up, leveling her gaze at both of them. "I'm afraid I have to go though, so this little... interrogation, is coming to an end. It's been nice though, meeting my mother's favorite Human." She tells to Elektra, before looking to Batgirl. "And one of Gotham's finest." She says to the redhead, casting her a flirtatious smile too.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
A snort is the answer Eve gets. Elektra may be human but she can call out a bluff coming miles away. "Trying to take advantage of my connection with Selene.." she shakes her head slowly. "Without any kind of proof there is no way that I will help you. I can't tell if you are telling the truth or not.." then a forced smirk coming to her lips. ".. And no, I am not going to take a leap of faith for you, or Lucien. I -can- accept not actively killing your kind, if you make plans to leave Gotham. A compromise." she offers.

"But not for info that may not even exist." She grits her teeth on saying those words. The easy path would be to ditch Batgirl and just join the lycans crusade and then hope they would tell her where Selene is. But something just doesn't smell right here...

Maybe it's the smell of all that lycan blood on the batmobile.

"But we will talk again." She tells Eve, "I will find you." A threat? Or a promise?

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Overhead, two Bat-shaped drones whiz by from the north, headed south down the street. This causes Eve to look up, a child-like expression of being enthralled strikes across her youthful face. "So many wonderful toys..." She says at the sight of it, before she hears Elektra's response, and drops her brown eyed gaze back down to the other beside the armored vehicle.

She laughs, just a little, for only a second. "I figured you'd say as much.. And don't worry. Lucien's people always planned to leave Gotham, eventually."

Eve looks back to Babs as she starts to turn away. "Shame about the ride. I bet that thing can really cook..." She says before turning her back to the two women, her booted feet moving now, carrying her toward the mouth of the alley, dark and shadowy, she is seemingly gone mere moments later, lost in the darkness.

After a beat, Babs speaks up. "Quite a family you've gotten yourself involved with." She says dryly, looking down to Elektra then beside the car. "You need a lift anywhere?" She asks then.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Elektra's dark stare remains on the girl as she walks away. For as much as she may have loved her mother there's just a little brewing animosity towards Eve. A snarl escapes her lips and she finds herself punching the wall near her. Uff, good thing she had an armored glove or she might had broken something. But as it stands it's just pain, and frustration.

"Yea, seems like it. And this is bigger than I expected.." She murmurs. Lucien. Eve. Selene being captured somewhere. For a moment Elektra looks lost, just staring nowhere, back to the wall she had just punched.

She doesn't get to answer right away, reaching up to draw down the mask that was covering her lower face. "Somewhere. Anywhere."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"I'll admit, I am curious about some of this now..." Batgirl replies as she stares at the wall that Elektra smashed a bit of detritus off of. "Maybe it's because this is like something I would've watched as a kid, maybe it's because I'm a glutten for mysteries. Maybe it's both, and more." She grimly says before sweeping her gaze back to Elektra. "Come on. I'll take you to my place, so you can fill me in on some of the details. I want to... look in to these Elders, and maybe where your friend might have gotten taken to."

Barbara is back down inside the armored vehicle's cockpit, waiting for Elektra to join her, when the engine comes back on, the canopy seals shut again, and the drones overhead do another fly-by... keeping over-watch on everything surrounding Batgirl, the eyes in the sky.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"I only know part of it.." Elektra says, "And all of it was from Selene, so if she has been lied to all this time who knows how much of it is true but ...." And she finds herself nodding slowly. "I can tell you what I know." Batgirl had proven herself to be a reliable partner after all. And not as aggravating as some of the other Bats she had met.

Even if she clearly still had to work on having fun! At least in what Elektra considered fun.

The assassin finally dislodges herself from the wall and starts to walk to the car, jumping to the other seat, "Thanks for .., helping me on this." she finally says, "It means to me than you know."

Elektra thanking someone? Gasp.
