Profile
Elektra is a deadly assassin that has left a trail of bodies on her wake wherever she goes. Born and taught since a young age to fight and to battle the Hand she has joined the ancient house of assassins, having climbed through it's ranks and now being one of their top operatives and leaders. But questions surround her. Traitor? Antihero? Cold-blooded assassin? Perhaps all those. What's true is that she has her own plan, she plays her own game. Who knows where it will lead?
Timeline
Timeline:
* 1991: Born to unknown parents, Elektra's first years of life were at an orphanage.
* 1995: Adopted by Stick, who became a father figure to her (even if a rather violent one), she began being trained in combat. A warrior for the Chaste.
* 2005: Elektra kills for the first time. After a training session with other member she is attacked later at night, fighting back and while defending herself slashes the man's throat. It did not feel as bad as she thought it would.
* 2003: Set to die for the murder of another Chaste member she is saved by Stick. To protect her he sends her to become the adoptive daughter of an ambassador and his wife, Hugo Natchios. She becomes known as Elektra Natchios.
* 2004 - 2008: She begins training on her own, and also beginning a very different life from her previous one. She learns how to meander the world of the rich and powerful, her aim being to better know how to disguise herself later in life.
* 2009: Elektra enters Columbia University for an MD on Global Politics and International Relations.
* 2010: She meets Matthew Murdock and they begin dating. It is at this time that Stick once again appears in her life. While Stick first wanted her to check on his old protege, he asks her to make Murdock embrace his darker side, to become a proper warrior for the Chaste or so he says. She attempts to have Matthew murder the man who killed his father but fails. They break up shortly after.
* 2011: Tragedy abates over the Natchios family. Hugo Natchios is murdered, over involvement in business regarding the Roxxon Corporation. She suspects the Hand.
* 2012: Elektra moves abroad, spending the next few years finishing her MD but also covertly looking to infiltrate the Hand, in her own quest for revenge but also at Stick's request.
* 2013: She becomes a killer, an assassin working for the Hand. Driven by both the rage of her youth, her quest for revenge and a way to deal with the pain of her loss.
* 2016: Elektra climbs the ranks of the Hand, a master at her Art. She becomes one of their top operatives and leaders.
* 2018: The attack on New York changes much, along with the Hand's paradigm. Elektra learns of a Black Sky project, a myth. Stick urges her to investigate.
* 2020: Things are not easy for Elektra, suspicions are high inside the Hand where Elektra's allegiance lies. Torn between two worlds, and with an agenda of her own she returns to New York City. Because why not add more chaos to her life? But as always, she has a plan.

Personality
Brave:
Not everything is bad! Her confidence and skills means she is close to being fearless. Courageous and able to face dangerous situations because she is just that confident in her own abilities. This can sometimes make her seem more of antihero than an assassin. But shhhh, don't tell her that.
Coldblooded:
The more she kills the less she has began to feel about it all. It sometimes turns into such routine that she wonders if she can even feel anymore but this in turn makes her quite the calculating woman. Nerves of steel, some could say.
Confident:
Elektra is a beautiful woman, and she knows that fully well, not being afraid to use her assets to get what she wants. Par to that she is also a very deadly woman. This means that sometimes her behavior borders arrogance, that feeling she is superior to others. Yes, it can be trouble.
Sociopath:
This world is a game to her, like a chess game, and what motivates her is what she wants. She will use anything she needs to use to get to her goal, and if she needs to kill..., so be it. Breaking rules, being impulsive and not caring for what feelings she hurts. Yes, that's Elektra.
Violent:
Elektra is violent by nature. Never having got through the anger of her past, it in fact having been stoked by Stick and then by the Hand when she infiltrated them. This means she is prone to bouts of violence, both physically and emotionally, able to lash out easily. And the closer people are to her, the worse.

Powers
Chi Meditation:
Elektra trained extensively with Stick, including a technique where she can focus her chi in order to heal herself faster. As long as she can meditate and not be interrupted for up to twelve hours she can heal double the rate of a normal human.
Skills
Acrobat:
Elektra is an highly skilled aerialist/acrobat. She is able to use her skills to successfully evade attacks or for offensive purposes. This also means she can do acrobatic feats, like walking tight ropes, climbing at a fast speed or even jumping around rooftops.
Languages:
Elektra has travelled around the world, having picked up a large number of languages she can speak fluently, or at least make conversation with. She can speak Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, Japanese and Chinese, with some passable Russian.
Master Assassin:
With her experience as a killer in the Hand, along with her training means that Elektra knows how to kill, and damn well. She knows anatomy, where to hit where it hurts, how to kill someone silently or making a mess of it. Where it comes to killing methods, she knows them all. This also means she knows how to reach said targets, using a mix of her other abilities such as stealth, her acrobatics or even poisons, having carved a name for herself in this dangerous world she lives in.
Master Martial Artist:
Elektra had extensive training by Stick, and then furthered her own training through the Hand's own masters. She is highly skilled, employing a mixed martial style that brings elements out of Jujutsu, Muai-Thai, Capoeira, Brazilian jiu-jutsu and karate, along with okinawan martial arts such as Sai fighting. That along with her peak physical condition means she can go toe-to-toe with the best martial artists in the world.
Stealth:
Where it comes to moving silently there aren't many who can rival her. The Hand, and the Chaste, only train and work with the best afterall. She may not be able to fool supernatural senses if they are searching for her but other than that she is nearly undetectable. This means she can blend in with shadows, move without a trace and infiltrate places normally out of reach for those of less skill. Close to a ninja of legend. If ninjas existed. They don't.
Weapon Training:
Katanas, swords, daggers, staffs... Elektra knows how to fight with a myriad of close combat weapons. But the ones she has specialized in are the twin sais. She is a master with these weapons. She has some skill with ranged weapons like shurikens or throwing daggers or even the odd sniper rifle, but they do not come close to her skill with close combat ones.
Resources
Contacts:
It's not only in the Hand that she has found contacts but also out in the world, a mercenary for hire, she has spent years working for both good and bad people. Corrupt governments or even righteous ones. But it's the more sordid types that she has kept contact. Someone always needs a body to turn up dead, or a bounty to be captured.
Daughter of An Ambassador:
Being an ambassador's daughter means many doors were open to her, even after Hugo Natchios death. She may not be an ambassador herself but her studies on Internal Relations, along with her high profile make her an influential figure in politics and with the government. And lets not forget she is always a great addition to any socialite party.
Fortune:
As heir to Hugo Natchios Elektra inherited his vast fortune when he died. She is not exactly a master businesswoman but she is intelligent enough to run the assets she possesses, including participations in various companies around the world. This makes it so she can have quite the comfortable life where it comes to money, but she is also not the type to spend money on a whim. She is very mindful of where she invests her money.
Killing Ways:
Garrotes? Katanas? Her Twin Sais? Where it comes to killing, and ways to do so, Elektra has an arsenal proper of a deadly assassin. This means she can get her hands in pretty much any type of weapon available for the job (no, not nuclear weapons). This also means she has access to body armor and other instruments to ease her access to her targets, be it zip lines, shadow suits or even the odd fancy surveillance gadget. Having inherited her stepfather's fortune means she has the ability to pay for this.
The Hand:
While Elektra may be under suspicion from a faction within the Hand it does not mean she isn't a top operative and one of the leaders. She has access to their resources, namely a network of assassins at her disposal, or contacts to have it happen, along with other assets such as safehouses, etc. But for how long will she have this pull with the Hand? Who can say? She certainly can't go around using their resources freely lest they become even more suspicious.
Weaknesses
Enemies:
Being an assassin means that she has amassed quite a few enemies throughout her life. It is rare that she leaves her enemies still breathing after a confrontation and as such those more moderate than her might find her to be a bit too extreme and come asking for satisfactions. Then there are all those rival assassins that wish to topple her and become the top dog. And lets not forget all those with personal vendettas against her due to she having killed a loved one, or someone they cared for.
In the Maelstrom:
Elektra plays a very dangerous game, torn between the Hand, the Chaste and now going back to New York and adding more complications to it all. Each of these 'worlds' pulls and tears at her, she in the middle of it all. This means a mistep could be fatal, or topple down all she has built so far. And while she is arrogant enough to think she is perfect, she is far from it.
Past:
Elektra comes with baggage. A tumultuous past and no matter how much she may deny it there were still those that were close to her in the past, no matter how long ago it was. Both Stick and Matthew have been part of her past life and they can both be a liability be to her but also a center.
Thrill-Seeker:
Partly due to her unquenched anger but also because of her refusal to have a normal life, Elektra is a thrill-seeker, never staying quiet for long. In truth, she has no idea what she'd do if she could no longer do what she does. Not the white-picket fence type.
