Cast of Characters: Kora Johnson, Daisy Johnson

Kora Johnson has posed:
It takes a moment for the words of the big blue aliens to filter through her brain - it's not like anyone has heard Kree spoken on this planet in hundreds of thousands of years. Kora knows the words taught to her by her mother and has seen them written, but actually spoken? this is new.

She is seen by the Kree right before she ducks back around the corner and pushes Daisy up against the wall. Bringing a finger to her lips. Her eyes wide she whispers in hushed, rushed tones, "Kree. The Kree are here. They just shocked invisible guy and they said spread out and capture more of... of us."

There's confusion and panic. Is this a good thing? a bad thing? it must be bad they zapped the invisible guy. And if the stories are true then the Kree aren't friends of Inhumanity. Her irises flit back and forth in front of Daisy as she tries to consider what she should do - but she's not the trained agent here.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
The Kree are here.

That brings a frown out of Daisy. Yes, she knows of them. Blackagar had told her the stories about these aliens and the danger they represented to Inhumans. And now? They have another Inhuman in their grasp, no matter how it may have been running from Daisy and Kora a moment before.

And she knows there is only one thing to do.

"We hit them. Together." A Beat, "Let's go." she taps Kora's shoulder as if to snap her out of her uncertainty and goes around the corner. Not really to talk. Or at least not talk verbally. Instead she talks with her 'fists' as they propel powerful concussion blasts across the corridor towards the Kree there.

Kora Johnson has posed:
It's not just the Kree that get hit with that blast but the temple too. It shakes again - whatever the big stone doors kicked loose seems to have weakened the whole structure of the place now. The leader of the Kree goes flying back, the two next to him are shoved aside and the two on the outsides quickly move in to defensive positions.

Hit them. Just.. go right at it. Who IS her sister anyway? She can't very well leave her alone out there - so she turns around the corner and her eyes begin to glow. She's used her powers in anger before. She knows she has a temper. But, uh, where exactly did they put the invisible guy?

Her hands thrust out at the first Kree rising back up with a gun-like weapon drawn. The bright blast of violent energy bursts from her and strikes the Kree in the chest - through the chest - through the stone wall behind him - out in to the snow which sizzles and melts.

The would be 'sample collector' aka alien abductor looks down at the hole in his chest for just one moment before he topples down on to the ground dead. Kora isn't sure if this was what Daisy meant. Killing is killing even if it's to save your own life and that of a naked invisible man.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Whatever Daisy meant with those words of hers it doesn't seem killing was it. Specially with the frown that appears on her expression when she sees the hole on the Kree's chest. But nothing she can do anymore. And these Kree appear intent on either killing or capturing them so ...

She runs forward, towards where the invisible man is, having been knocked aside with the blast, free of the leader's clasp, "I will get the invisibly guy. Cover us!" she covers the ground between her and the kree on the other side quite quickly, jumping in the air and using her power to propel herself forward almost as if it was a jetpack. Clearly in smaller doses than the earlier blast. She felt the temple's instability so it means she will have to go into close quarters.

As she is coming to land she puts *power* behind her fist, vibrational power, hitting the Kree in the chest to send him back against the wall. He's sturdy though so he doesn't fall, engaging in a back and forth with Daisy, the Agent dodging that staff from hitting her and throwing another punch.

Kora Johnson has posed:
The Kree aren't going to take this lying down. Well, the one with a hole in his chest is. The leader is slowly getting back to his feet as he sees Daisy fighting with some kind of invisible shields and forces. He speaks quickly to the others as he takes in what just happened.

"Subdue this one," he says of Daisy as one of the other Kree lifts up his staff and fires. It bursts out a pulse of force much like Daisy produces and a third tries to move in to zap Daisy with his night night stick.

Kora blasts her hands at the third guy and he jumps back. The leader looks at Daisy and his dead warrior, "That one is too volatile. Kill it," he states. Kora sees the fourth Kree going for his weapon ands he moves both her hands at him. He gives out of the way and the third one draws and gets a shot off at Kora.

Everything seems to be going in slow motion. The battle is too fast, too furious, and Daisy is doing amazing things. Kora should have taken cover, but she gets hit with a wibble blast from the weapon and her heart seizes up.

The pumping stops and all the fight drops out of her as she flops over, feeling her breath exhale and refuse to draw back in. Her life starts to flash before her eyes - her mother and father, the Afterlife she grew up in and all the Inhumans who taught her, the disaster at training, her imprisonment, her torture at the hands of HYDRA.

The glowing light in Kora's eyes dims to dull.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
This is certainly not Daisy's first rodeo so she is launching herself into it without hesitation, continuing the back and forth with the Kree that's currently keeping closer to the invisible guy. She jumps out of the way of the staff and retorts with a roundhouse kick that hits the Kree in the face, the split of a second later a vibrational rush in the wake of the kick throwing the blue man flying back and away. Closer to the entrance.

It's when she sees that weapon being discharged, a glance over her shoulder that only catches that last moment of Kora falling down.

"Kora!"

Teeth grit together as the Kree levels the weapon in her direction and she just tells him. "No."

The temple shudders and as she moves her hands so does the ceiling starts falling, creating a barrier between them and the rest.

And then she is rushing over to Kora's side, "Hey, hey.. eyes open." she gets on her knees next to her sister, holding her head.

Kora Johnson has posed:
Kora is vaguely aware of her sisters voice. She can sort of feel that hand but her heart has stopped. Such a deadly and efficient weapon. If Daisy had encountered one before she could have stopped its deed. The dark void approaches Kora as her vision fades and Daisy's voice seems to echo far away. She thinks she hears drums in the distance, a light perhaps.. is that her ancestors calling to her?

The Kree are worse for ware after their short engagement with Daisy. Picking themselves up as the ceiling is ripped down before them. The entrance to the temple is now bare sky. The header looks around.. their invisible catch is impossible to find now. But they got what they came for - proof.

"Every body back to the ship," he says. With one less fighter to his name but something far more valuable to trade he will return home victorious.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
The crumpling of the temple's front is buying them time. Or at least that's what Daisy thinks, believing the Kree might be circling around to come meet them again soon. So this is only a delay. Yet she can't think on it right now because she notices how Kora's vibrations are lacking. Slowing. Unmoving.

"Kora.." She calls out again, placing one hand on her chest. There is nothing there. No motion. It feels dead...

She reaches out then, seeking, her energies expanding, recalling her teachings with both Jiaying and the old Master in the Cup. Feeling the connection of energies. The missing link within Kora. Her power reaches out to her heart, invading warmth within Kora's chest.

The energy finds the heart and then starts vibrating it. Slow at start but then it rises in a quick crescendo. A thundering sound.

There is no way Daisy will let Kora go now that she's found her.

Kora Johnson has posed:
Kora's heart responds to Daisy's instinctual vibrations. It begins to beat wildly and then settles back in to a normal rhythm. Kora's eyes open and she gasps in a breath. The color starts to return to her lips from blue to pink once more. Her eye lashes flutter and she curls up against Daisy, clinging to her tightly.

Her breathing rapid, it takes her time and a rushing heart to come back from the brink of death. The clinging changes to a hug. She rest her chin on Daisy's shoulder and holds on to her sister tight. Kree be damned, that was about as life changing experience as one can get.

She slowly catches her breath and draws back from Daisy. A hand to her heart, she can feel it beating strong. A look of wonder at her sister who flies jets, wears fancy uniforms, can fly by herself and can save her life when she's shot with an alien ray beam of unknown description.

The question of the Kree is answered when the ground shakes. The engines of the craft activate and it begins to take off. Kora swallows and then her eyes focus on the sword on Daisy's back. "The sword.. we have to stop them!"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
With Kora finally waking up Daisy hugs her fiercely against her chest. Keeping her there even as the temple threatens to fall all around them. She only lets her go when there's that sound of an engine on the outside and she glances that way..

"The sword..?" she frowns in some confusion but does get back up to her feet, helping Kora do the same.

"We need to get out of here, that's what we need to do.."

Kora Johnson has posed:
Kora nods her head, "The sword is meant.. I told you the whole story!" She calms a moment as the temple shakes again. "An exit I can do, if you can keep this place together." She licks her lips and stands up. Her legs are wobbly and she puts a hand on Daisy's shoulder to help her get upright.

The glow returns to her eyes and she holds out her hands toward the rubble Daisy created. The light in her eyes is faint and she rubs her hands together, "Come on! Don't choose now to be all weak and useless..." she shouts at her own gift.
he spark returns and the glowing energy shoots from her hands blasting open a hole in the rubble for them to escape through.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"No, you didn't.." Do you know what's great after a good bonding moment? Some good ol' sister fightin'! But Daisy doesn't contest it too much, instead she extends one hand forward at the rubbly. And as it gets blasted away by Kora's powers she takes in a breath, focusing on keeping it 'whole'. Or at least enough for them to get out.

"Let's .., go. Quickly." Then a glance to the side, "You too. Get out." is it the invisible man? Apparently she can 'see' him somehow.

One hand is felt wrapping tight around Kora's waist and then they are moving out, as quick as possible, out into the mountain cold.

Kora Johnson has posed:
Kora isn't quite sure who Daisy is talking to for a moment but .. oh right, invisible guy. She rushes out in to the snowy mountain top with her sister and the stranger just as the temple collapses in on itself. Dust blasting out in to the air behind them.

Above, a Kree spaceship is rising rapidly up in to the sky. Kora looks up and sighs, "It's too late..." they are too far away now. She glances at the sword and then back up at the ship. Whoever they report to will know there are Inhumans on this planet soon enough.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy's hand goes to the sword, the ring of the blade being drawn heard but she stops midway when Kora speaks of it being too late. She just quirks a brow at her and lets it slide back down inside the sheath. Eyes go back up to the sky at the departing ship and she draws some hair out of her face.

"Whatever they were trying to do here we drove them off.." She tells Kora in that glass half-full kind of way of Daisy's. Arm remains wrapped around Kora and she looks at her sister.

"How are you feeling?" clearly more worried about Kora is doing than some Kree running off.

Kora Johnson has posed:
Kora's eyes stop glowing and she stares up at the spaceship. A frown plastered over her face. She's not okay with this development. The Inhuman's oldest enemy is back and they know they exist. It's all falling apart - Afterlife was meant to be hidden. The moon kingdom wasn't meant to be real or findable either.

"I feel like everything in me aches. It's going to be a hard walk back to the q-jet," she says not remembering the proper name for the thing. "Daisy I think we messed up badly today," she says pressing her lips together. Her eyes drift from Daisy's back to the temple. Somewhere in there is the proof - a dead alien body, crushed by giant stone slabs.

There's a look on Kora's face that Daisy is familiar with - that hard look of taking something really personally. Still, her arm goes about Daisy's waist in return and snugs tightly. One good thing came out of this trip at least. Oh, and also that scroll Kora tucked in to her clothes.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"This would need to happen sooner or later." Daisy says of their encounter with the Kree. "No way around it.." wind whipping about her face at the cold winds being felt up on the mountain. "We need to go to Attilan and figure out what's going on."

As for going back down? Daisy grimaces, looking around. "Next time I get an idea of going up some snow-riddled mountain remind me of this moment..." a sigh.

Yes, it was going to be a long way down. But at least they were alive. And they had found some measure of answers even if they weren't fully understandable just yet.

Kora Johnson has posed:
Kora turns and rests her forehead to Daisy's for a moment. A small smile cracks on her face. A genuine one of comfort and family. "May be we'll see those horny cougars on the way down."
