Cast of Characters: Thea Queen, Oliver Queen

Thea Queen has posed:
.... Or in this case, the belly of the Verdant.

It's been a few days since their last meeting at the Verdant but tonight a message was sent over. Not to Oliver Queen but to the vigilante Green Arrow. Through the comms they use.

> Ready to check out the idea I had for the underground of the Verdant? Come over. But not through the front door. Through the back, and when you get to the keypad door the pw is mom's birthday.

Could be worse where it comes to passwords really. But Thea seems to have skipped that delightful passive aggressiveness she sometimes gets going and just went with something more normal. At least if Ollie remembers mom's birthday. But who doesn't, right?

With messages sent Thea waits downstairs in the underbelly of the verdant, dressed in black and red leathers, the outfit she uses on her outings and that has dubbed her first the codename of Speedy and more recently the Red Arrow.

Because red is better than green! Or something...

Oliver Queen has posed:
Green Arrow's arrival comes with the whole grappling hook arrow lead in and cool ziplining. It's a stylish introduction into the location that nobody gets to see but it's just become second nature by now. This is how he travels when he's the Green Arrow.

A tuck and roll later and the Green Arrow is at the keypad and stowing his bow away. Password entered with relative ease and the Green Arrow makes his way into the building.

Green Arrow's arrival into the building is one that would normally be of stealth and caution but right now he's just meeting his sister so he's more relaxed with his wandering in. "Speedy?"

Yes, he's saying that on purpose. Can't let an opportunity to dig at his favorite sister pass him by. Which is also why he's wearing a smile when he comes in as well, looking around with a bit of an interested expression. No, it's more like a curious expression. Hmmmm.

Thea Queen has posed:
Once the door with the keypad is successfully surpassed it leads to a stairwell, down. The beat of the nightclub can still be heard for a bit but once the door closes behind Green Arrow and the further he goes down the sound is gone. It leads into a small, labyrinthine set of corridors, sturdy cement with floodlights lighting the way. Somewhat rough, but maybe that's the idea for now. It opens up into a larger antechamber and that's where Thea is.

Expression sour at being called Speedy.

"It's Red Arrow now..." She retorts in a murmur, unable to stiffle a response to the bait. "One of these days I will figure out whose idea it was to call me Speedy ..., either yours or Diggle's." still sour.

"But anyway, welcome..." She flips a switch on the wall and more lights turn on, and what seemed like an antechamber opens up to a large space, perhaps not the size of the Arrowcave they have under the mansion, but respectable enough! On the center there's a set of computers and servers already, along with monitors positioned in that way that Overwatch seems to love, which probably means Felicity has been helping her already.

"... chez Thea's..." clearly she needs to find a better name for this.

"Still rough, and needing some more upgrades. Like an actual garage if we want to store any vehicle in here.. But it's a start! Or at least a backup to what we have already." she gestures. "What do you think?"

Oliver Queen has posed:
"Red Arrow? Really? You sure you want to go with that?"

This is nothing but sibling banter because Oliver's barely invested in it. He's just messing with his sister at this point. His focus seems to be more on location that is being lit up thanks to the lighting and such that makes everything look so much better than a dark and dank basement location underneath a nightclub.

Oliver takes his time wandering around, looking at everything and even running a gloved finger along the top of one of the monitors. He looks around as if he's the expert on secret bases and lairs. He's mostly quiet as he inspects the work that's been done already.

Finally, he turns around to face his sister with an approving smirk on his face, "I like it." Ollie holds up a single finger. "We're not calling it Chez Thea's though. That's horrible."

Oliver looks over at Thea with a bit more of a proud glint behind his mask. "And we're sharing. So this whole place can't be red."

Thea Queen has posed:
Thea is finally able to rein it in. Nope, no response to that bait about going with Red Arrow. But she can notice he's not that invested in it so she just lifts her chin a touch at him and runs one hand through her short-ish hair. It's the 'hmph' gesture she likes to do.

With Oliver wandering around the place and looking at everything Thea chooses to remain settled against a table, angled against it and observing, arms folded together. "Well yes, it's terrible. But we already got the Arrowcave for a terrible name too." There. Shots fired. "I accept suggestions for what we will call it! As long as it's not Arrowcave 2 or something of that sort."

"Of course we are sharing, I am doing it for the Team." she points out, but then at the mention of the color she mmmms, "Well, red and green together blends into a yellow.." she turns her nose at that. "Not sure I want yellow walls here. Have had my share of hospitals in my life, you know?" when she was a alcohol dash drug addict.

Oliver Queen has posed:
"Listen. The Arrowcave was a solid name... at the time." This seems like a hill that Oliver's going to playfully die on. Once he's committed, he can't really go back. It would look even worse! So he's just going to have to stick with the Arrowcave until everyone that knows it's called that is dead! Or something!

Ollie turns to lean against a different table so that he can look across the room at Thea. "Maybe let Felicity do her..." Oliver's fingers do a typing thing in the air. "... thing. I'm sure she can come up with something. Unless you'll budge on /Another/ Arrowcave?" He's joking. Kind of.

"Yeah, no, yellow's a cry for help. We can't do too much red and green or we'll have to do a whole Christmas gimmick." Ollie's glancing around at the walls. "Maybe black but with some red and green accents or lighting to make certain areas pop." He may have been watching a little HGTV lately.

Thea Queen has posed:
"Her ..., thing?" There's squinting. Then a bit of a stare. "Like .., google it?" she scrunches her nose. "'What's a good name for a secret vigilante hideout?'" she jokes, "And then hit, I feel lucky?" she shakes her head at this. "We'll figure something out ..." that doesn't mean googling it..

But at least in one thing they seem to agree. It's like the christmas miracle. NO YELLOW! "Well, I am just happy we are getting something like this going." she admits, "With all that's been going on as of late.." she trails off, shaking her head again..

"But ...." And she dislodges herself from the table, making her way over to another corner of the room where a few weapons are stashed. "How about we get on a little spar?" she suggests. "Some training to baptize the place?" she grins.

Oliver Queen has posed:
"What?! I'm sure she doesn't use Google!"

Oliver grins as he pushes off the table and starts stretching a bit. Look, he's older so he has to make sure that his joints and stuff don't lock up. Those salmon ladders are getting harder to do. Still, though, he's wearing a big grin on his face as looks at his sister. "A spar? With me?" Oliver cracks his knuckles while plastering on his smug grin. "How easy do you want me to go on you?"

Oliver's doing some trash talk, obviously, but then goes back to the former topic of conversation. At least before he and Thea start punching and kicking each other. "Hey, seriously, she doesn't Google though, right?"

Oh brother.
