Fighting With Widows

Synopsis:	Conversation and sparring between Widows.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
It's one of those times for a faceoff. Where two Widows will fight it out and test their skills. Natasha has a set of heavy wooden staves in her hands. Gone are the normal electronics over on them that's designed to give heavy jolts. This is just for a close in brawl. She goes to twirl them a few times, waiting in a defensive stance.
    Time how to see how the 'younger' Widow is doing when it comes to her technique. One can't just get sloppy given they've escaped from a program that's trained them since they were young, after all.

Yelena Belova has posed:
Watching those batons swirl, Yelena narrows her eyes a bit, moving slowly around in a half circle, keeping herself alert for any type of feint coming from her older sister. She has a matching set of the batons, likewise bereft of eletronics, except instead of swirling hers, she has them both pointing behind her, gripping them at the front instead of the back.

Waiting for Nat to make the first move.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would circle around Yelena. It's a dance as the two seem to wait for the other to make the first move, staying the exact same distance apart. Finally Natasha decides to go on the offensive! She goes to whirl the twin staves about, launching an attack at Yelena! Full speed, using her full reach. She's ever so slightly taller than the younger Widow, and those fractigons of an inch she has for the advantage in reach give her just a small edge.

Yelena Belova has posed:
Knowing that height is to her disadvantage, Yelena goes for the opposite. Ducking down as Nat extends with a full reach, instead of electing to block or go to the side, she comes in and tries to dip under the swing, moving past Nat and making an attempt to lash out with one of her batons with a backhanded swipe at her side.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha can't quite fully retract in time, but she can partially turn even as Yelena is able to get a partial strike on her. The quick maneuver also puts Yelena just out of her reach to counterattack as Natasha spins. "One for you."

Yelena Belova has posed:
Spinning around on her toes after dashing by, Yelena sends a lopsided grin back at Nat. "First blood to me. Slipping in old age?" She adopts a defensive pose again, challenging her sister to come on the offensive.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
And Natasha goes to switch up her tactics - whereas normally she goes for quick strikes and hit and run attacks, stalking her opponent to look fora w eakness and then going in for the kill.. This time she goes for a full on offensive! With rapid attempted blows, attempting to catch Yelena on the backfoot. "You got me.. Once." She would snark back.

Yelena Belova has posed:
While she was prepared for the all-out assault, and could tell that is exactly what was coming from the way Nat tensed her ankles before launching in, Yelena is only able to hold it off for so long as she back pedals, and eventually takes a shot to her shoulder. "Same same," she mutters, taking a step back and winding back up her batons. "Used to be, I only get zero."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would pull back, going on a casual defensive stance. "Yes, see what a few hundred attempts have gotten you? Improvement." She would then wait to see whether Yelena would advance or once more insist that Natasha do so as Nat would twirl her own batons, spinning them about in a casual taunt.

Yelena Belova has posed:
"Have I gotten better?" Yelena asks, tilting her head, before she dashes in, feinting high and then sliding feet first down along the ground, placing the batons above her head to try to fend off a counter attack to try to take a shot at Nat's achilles as she glides past. "Or just you gotten older?"

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would muse, "The things I do to let you build up confidence." As Yelena goes to strike at her achilles tendon, Natasha goes to snap out with an attempted roundhouse kick aimed at the back of Yelena's head. it's a quick twist and snap taking advantage of her extra muscle mass to try and get in a more powerful strike!

Yelena Belova has posed:
There is a quick twist from Yelena as she pivots, and her baton smacks against Nat's thigh right as Nat's other leg connects with the roundhouse kick for a simultaneous tag. "One for you and one for me?" she asks as she spins out from the position on the floor to reclaim her stance. "Makes two each. One more to count."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
It's a quick exchange and retreat - a mutual striek as Natasha goes to withdraw. "Of course." She goes to hold herself calmly while disengaging. Then goes to start circling once more. SEeing if Yelena will maneuver for position against her, go in for the attack.. Or if the two will just be stalking one another for just a few seconds.

Yelena Belova has posed:
With the win in the balance, Yelena has grown more conservative. Which is not exactly her strong suit, in general, but with a full victory against Nat closer within reach than usual, she has to be protective of her chance. Shift gears a bit, and be a bit more...Nat-like. "I keep circling, you tire out first."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would smile, "Oh, we know full well which of us has greater stamina. But since you asked.." Natasha goes to strike! But it's not with the staves - she goes to flip out a small pellet from her wrist - and mvoes to fling it over at Yelena! It's a small expandable net, which would erupt to try and latch over her!
    Natasha's following it up wtih an attempted flanking attack - Yelena will either be caught in it or will be out of position having to dodge, hopefully either leaving her open..
