Unpacking Over Breakfast

Synopsis:	Alex and Rachel catch up over breakfast.

Alex Summers has posed:
Alex asked Rachel to have breakfast with him so they could get caught up on current Rachel events. And the best place for breakfast, Fred's Diner. Here Alex is found sitting in one of the side booths waiting for his niece to join him. Mutant town is hopping like most mornings as people go to work, school, and are doing the standard Bushwick/Mutant town tom foolery. Currently Alex is wearing jeans, t-shirt, and has a jacket off to the inside of the booth. He waits patiently as he sips on water and tea while watching the door for her arrival.

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Comes in wearing he rather punk flare with lots of spikes on her outfit and eveyerthing.. a biker jacket.. and some ripped jeans.. a t-Shirt of some metal band of soemthing she dodn't know them but the immage was nice.. She looks around and spots alex and walks over to him cocking her head " So your my uncle hmm? :

Alex Summers has posed:
Alex can't help but recognize Rachel in any attire. The last time he saw her she was wearing earthtones with a stylish bob haircut. But now, punked out Rachel gives him flashbacks to such an earlier time and space. Which draws a bit of concern at first. That concern elevates when she asks his identity as her uncle. His eyes realize the consequences of causality and alternate universes. He decides that it's expected on some level, but he wasn't expecting this level of unexpectations. He says with a blink and then a smile, "Hey, yeah. I'm Alex... please, have a seat. I think we've got a lot more to catch up on than I thought."

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Nod sher head " Yeah sorry I got hit with something.. i kinda made my memory of stuff I've done here fuzzy.. some of it is clear some of it is fuzzy.. everything before I showed up is clear.. but after " She spreads he rhands

Alex Summers has posed:
"Damn.." He says with regret in his tone.

Peggy walks over and asks, "What can I get the two of ya?"

Orders are given/taken and Peggy walks off.

Alex continues, "Okay.. so if you don't remember me, then you ain't got nothing to hold against me." and he smiles. "Not that I ever did anything. Truth be told... we were pretty good friends even if I've got the rep for being the cool summers brother who is a jerk. And yeah. I'm Scott's younger brother."

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Blinks " My understanding was dad could be a dick " She says " And I liked you as my uncle " she beams a smile and touches your arm " at least till I got caught " She says softly " But it's nice ot connect again.. I'm trying to remmeber stuff "

Alex Summers has posed:
He'll place his hand atop hers on his arm. He gives a thoughtful nod and regretful smile then finally asks, "So how are you fitting in in the school? Everyone nice to you? Someone's ass I need to kick?"

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Laughs and smiles " I'mg ood I'm back at the school.. just got back tryin to get my memory back.. everybody been really nice rogue gave me something to eat she's very sweet "

Alex Summers has posed:
"I'm not really sure how the telepathy thing works for shared memories. But is it a thing that you can scan people's minds for memories about or with you? I mean.. guess that wouldn't be much of a thing, if it were a thing. Sort of like watching old home videos. Right?" Alex struggles to be helpful.

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Smiles " I can if people let me " she says softly " Its just not my memories and I don't like to pry into peoples brains unless they asked.. I used to do it too much before "

Alex Summers has posed:
He grins and nods, "I recall that. For sure. It's a weird line to cross. Sometimes cool. Sometimes not so cool. Betsy does it all the frickin time and she's really gotten on people's nerves. But then it's Betsy. Anyway... what about Jean. You might not remember, but she was standoffish with you at first. Do you remember that? Have you been able to actually reconnect?"

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Blinks" We hugged and she's been trying to help me so I don't know this stand offish stuff yoru talking about " she says simply " She's mom.. " she grins " only slightly older than me but still mom "

Alex Summers has posed:
"That's really good. The early days were weird. I think Jean wasn't in a good place and she couldn't relate to you being a daughter that she's never remembered having. I know yall worked things out over time, and glad they're still good for you and her. Which brings me to my next topic... you've always come to me when you wanted to talk about things. And this morning was me reaching out to make sure you knew that. I'm always happy to listen or just be a friend if you need."

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Smiles and moves to the other side of the booth to give her uncle a big hug " Okay I will and thank you " She smiles " just need to get my memories back or maybe just figure out what happened.. and move on from there "

Alex Summers has posed:
He'll gladly hug her back with a light chuckle. "How about this afternoon or evening back at the mansion? We get together and you can peruse my brain for memories. If that'll help?" he offers a tiptoe through his brain pan. Clearly wanting to help her get back up to speed and get rid of the brain clouds.

Rachel Summers has posed:
Rachel Summers Nods her head ' Sounds like a plan "s he beams a big smile " that will help for sure "s he grins brightly

Alex Summers has posed:
Peggy brings back the food so the two of them can eat and enjoy breakfast while Alex shares recent events in his life - which has been pretty boring for the most part. Spending lots of time in Mutant Town ensuring that there's a peace here.
