Cast of Characters: Oliver Queen, Felicity Smoak

Oliver Queen has posed:
New York during the holidays has made for a nice change, and while Oliver Queen might have missed the sheer spectacle of Christmas at the Queen Mansion back in Star City, something a little quieter, a littler more lowkey certainly had its charms as well.

But the holiday decorations are all packed away for another year and it is time to turn his thoughts towards the ongoing issues in Hell's Kitchen and the challenges that the Triad continue to present there despite Team Arrow's best efforts to do something about it.

At the moment the blonde billionaire is seated on the couch in front of the amazing view of the city. But his attention is entirely engrossed by the tablet in his hands, studying it with a little frown, occasionally scrolling around what would appear to be some sort of schematic.

Felicity Smoak has posed:
That was a LOT of work. Putting away all sorts of knick knacks, other bits of decoration, the tinsel, and other holiday accoutrement took a bit. Naturally, she didn't want the assistants to do it, wanting to know what boxes things are in for the next year.

And so now, it's time to rest, as she heads on over and flumps down on the couch, having put the last of the boxes away for storage. "That. Took. Forever." Felicity says, chuckling softly as she peers towards her billionaire beau, trying to get a peak of what might be on the tablet.

"What do you have there?' she wonders.

Oliver Queen has posed:
It is not like he left Felicity completely to her own devices on that particular project. But there is no doubt that Oliver was a little more enthusiastic about putting up the decorations then taking them back down. So the workload on this end was probably about sixty-forty in her favor admittedly.

He'll find a way to make it up to her. He's pretty good about that too.

Glancing up as she flumps down on the couch, a wry smile crosses the face of the blonde billionaire and he sets the tablet down on his knee at least for a moment. "Sorry I got distracted there are the end. But this is why you're the best," he points out with a wink.

Then he's hefting up that tablet once more, though tilting it some so that it is visible to her. "The schematics of the underground tunnels beneath Hell's Kitchen. What we've mapped out manually and what we've put together with the drones. I think we might be getting close to having a complete picture finally.

Felicity Smoak has posed:
Her brows furrow at the mention of what's on the tablet. Leaning over, she clucks her tongue on the inside of her cheeks as she ahhs and nods. "So that's also information from Roy and Emiko?" she wonders, asking about the rest of Team Arrow's contribution.

"I'm glad the mapping function worked in putting all the different pieces together." A sigh of relief can be heard as that was one of the machine learning challenges she put herself to in order to create a complete picture.

"So do you know where any openings would be? Or is that something that you still need to explore?" Felicity asks.

Oliver Queen has posed:
Letting the map scroll as she looks it over, Ollie leans back against the couch cushion, paying more attention to her then the schematic itself. But then he has been pouring over it for the last hour or so. He will no doubt be pouring over it during the days and weeks to come too. He can be a little obsessed that way.

One of the things he shares with the Dark Knight. Just don't you dare point that out to him!

"It is. That's everything we've gathered from all our helpful sources," he agrees. "And the mapping function definitely made a big difference. Helped tie it all together," he agrees, reaching over to take one of her hands in his own, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Mmmmm, finding the entrances aren't really a problem. It's the sheer scope of them. All told there are almost two dozen street accesses alone. Not even counting the acccess points through basement buildings. Add in the connections to the sewers, maintenance tunnels and subway tunnels and it's pretty much a nightmare," he conceeds quietly.

Felicity Smoak has posed:
"Well, I can always write up a random walk to see what the most efficient paths through the sewers are to get from point A to point B?" That's another offer of the blonde tech genius, knowing that it's these little ways that she can support Team Arrow.

AS he takes her hands, her cheeks flush a bright tinge of red as she leans in to bonk her forehead against his own. "You know I just want to be helpful, right? If you think I'm getting in the way, just tell me." Felicity whispers softly, sighing as she nestles in against his solid, muscular frame.

Oliver Queen has posed:
The offer draws another smile from the oft-times Emerald Archer and Ollie dips his head in her drection. "I'd appreciate that. I'm sure the entire team could put that to good use during our periodic sweeps of the sewers," he assures her quietly.

That hand gets another gentle squeeze and Oliver tilts his head, leaning in to meet hers with his own. "I don't think you have to worry about that. You're as much a part of the team as the rest of us, you know that Felicity. What you do for us as Overwatch is no small part of our success," he points out before drawing her in closer.

Felicity Smoak has posed:
Bonk! Her forehead presses against his own as he leans in against her. She looks deeply into his eyes, her own crystal blue gaze sparkling with clear love and adoration for the man before her. There's no resistance when he draws her closer, and soon, her entire lush body is pressed against his own as her fingers entwine with his.

"I know, but sometimes a girl just likes to hear it." It's not like she's out in the field really, and as someone who is more staying back for support, it's hard to feel part of the group at times.

"You know what?" Felicity asks before stealing a quick kiss. "I love you."

Oliver Queen has posed:
Hey, Ollie can certainly sympathize. He's had his fair share of of questions and doubts about his role on the Justice League in the past few months, measuring up against alien gods, space cops, amazon princesses and friends who can quite casually run around the entire world in moments.

"Well then, you can count on me to remind you on a regular basis," the blonde billionaire promises with a smile, nestling close to her for the moment, one hand trailing lightly up the back of her neck to tease through her hair. "And if you ever start to think that your contributions aren't valued just poke me," he demands with a little smirk. "I love you too."

"Now, since you did the bulk of the work cleaning up from the holidays I think the least I can do is take you out for dinner. What do you say, Miss Smoak? Up for a little wining and dinning?"

Felicity Smoak has posed:
"You know I love a good merlot." she says with an almost dopey smile on her lips before letting out a hearty laugh. "Though you'll need to give me a bit to get all dolled up. I can't be your eyecandy if I'm not going all out on the ensemble." Felicity replies with a cheeky grin before sticking her tongue out at him.

Starting to ease on up, she stretches her arms and looks in the direction of the bedroom. "Giiiiiive me thirty and I should be ready to go. Do you have a place in mind already?" That way, she can dress appropriately.
