Synopsis:	Kate drops by Avengers Mansion to talk to Clint, and gets Natasha instead.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
It's been a rather busy few days for the Avengers. Not necessarily as in the fighting sense.. But, the raid of the Mansion by mercenaries, the seeming theft of some of Ms. Maximoff's personal tomes of no doubt a most dangerous nature which Wanda couldn't even confirm which ones.. It had been a busy few days. Alternating trying to look through every sensor, every camera, every single thing which could be of some aid in gathering data.

Natasha is just coming off a stint of monitor duty, moving to head back to one of the main rooms of the Mansion.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    A slightly purple tinted bike pulls up to one of the drive entrances to the manor, and a young woman with distinct Hawkeye purple gear, including bow slung on the bike comes to a halt.

    She leans over and after fishing out an ID card she taps it to the reader and then squints. "Huh." well Clint gave it to her, she has no idea that things may be on higher alert right now etc. She reaches past the reader and taps the intercomm and waits patiently.

    System would come up with Hawkeye, Kate.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
There's a flag over in the system as the ID comes in and is tagged. Kate is noted as authorized. But still, given Natasha's paranoia running rampant with current events, she heads on to talk to the girl anyways as she adjusts her course from where she had been heading towards the garage instead to the front door.
    "Ms. Bishop, what brings you to here?" The door would open revealing the Black Widow in a neutral posture, taking in Kate in an evaluatory gaze.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    Ah there it is, the Gate opens, must have just been a system delay. She leans back and revs the engine and drives up and around to park in the loop before the front door. The helmet is left on the seat of the bike as she heads up to the front door.

    "Oh hey." there is a blink behind her purple glasses. "I was stopping by to talk to Clint ..." she stalls trying to figure out how one respectfully addresses someone by their superhero name. I mean. Nat just went and called her by her last name, which isn't that surprising really that a superspy and Avenger has that. God help her if there are parabolic mics though pointed at her. Probably starktech for that though.

    "Is he around today ... uh... should I call you Black Widow or.. no that is probably right." ackward pause. She hasn't ever really spent time talking to Widow.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Have the two encountered one another at length before? Perhaps. Natasha takes a moment of assessment before moving to the side. "Agent Barton is off on a field assignment." By the fact she used 'Agent' implied it might be something SHIELD related. However, given Natasha's penchant for formalities, it could be something as simple as he'd gone into town to get a coffee.
    "Would you care to some inside? I can't speak for when he'll be returning but I'm sure that he'll appreciate your presence." Since no one really would appreciate just her's.
    "And referring to me as Agent Romanova is fine if you prefer to be formal."

Kate Bishop has posed:
    Kate nods "Honestly, I'd prefer to refer to you however you want to be referred to. Not a formal thing, more a respect thing." she glances back at her bike and thne to Nat.

    "Sure would love to come in and wait. At least long enough to call Clint and see when he is coming back. Something I honestly should have done when I decided to stop.. but I'm in the neighborhood more with the whole Young Avengers project so I thought I'd stop by and tell him how it is going so far."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would nod, "Of course. Do forgive the currnet state of affairs. There was a strike against the residence recently." Which Kate may or may not have heard about if she kept up with the superhero grapevine. "So security has been tightened. I might ask you for some of your input on it, if you would be willing." Natasha would head towards the communal recreation areas.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    Kate follows along after Natasha. "Okay that seems stupid. I mean. Very in line with bad guys to attack the superhero base, we have enough of that at Titans Tower, but it is always a dumb move. It pretty much only results in them going to prison even faster than us having to hunt them down in my experience..."

    She looks around as they walk. "Which dumbasses attacked you all, also I hope no one was hurt.. well except them..."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would shake her head, "A mercenary group was utilized in a strike against Ms. Maximoff's quarters and something was taken from them. Those mercenaries that were.. Taken.. Are undergoing interrogation while procedures are being reviewed. Ms. Maximoff has not been able to narrow down what was seized." Natasha's tone was icy. Not at Kate. Or even at the breakin of the Mansion.
    But as to how many magical macguffins that Wanda kept in her room without keeping track of them.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    "Oh." she blinks. "That is.. very unfortunate." which is her saying it very reserved. She very clearly has thoughts about the fact they got away with god knows what.

    "And... the Scarlet Witch does not have any idea what was stolen from her room. Specifically by bad guys who broke into one of the most dangerous places for bad guys on earth to steal. Can't she like magic it." Kate ponders. "There has to be some sort of play back past events spell... like post cognition."

    Kate switched somewhere in all that to tactical mode, her expression very thoughtful and focused. To a large degree it shows why she is one of the informal leaders of the Titans and the leader of the Young Avengers.

    Bad Guy, problem, come up with a plan.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would nod at Kate, "An excellent suggestion, among other things. With your.. Permission I would recommend perhpas that you speak with Ms. Maximoff to see if you might aid her." Besides Wanda the most practiced member of the Avengers on spellcraft was Clea, which was a.. Possible forest for the trees routine when it came to the half Falteen.
    "You'll give some perspective that the rest of us might lack."

Kate Bishop has posed:
    "If only because I have so many magical teammates.... not that they listen often with Rachel or Vorpal or ..." she just trails off not naming them all.

    The young woman reaches up and rubs her face in mild pain at the thought of it all. Then nods. "I would be happy to speak with Ms. Maximoff. Always happy to help the Avengers with anything. You've all doen a lot for me, and hell the world after all."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would give Kate a smile. The type which could be real or could be feigned from nearly a century of experience. "Your assistance is appreciated. Clint is.. Having a difficult time of it as well." The man was a close confidant of Wanda's after all. So that meant it was extra hard for him, as if he had failed.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    "Ugn.. he is taking it hard that Wanda got burgled?" she just nods. Like yes. She believes Clint would take that hard. No real skepticism there. She has met Agent Barton, a lot, after all.

    "Sure.. happy to talk to them both. So how are you doing with the whole problem. I always find it pretty unsettling to have my home violated."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would shrug, "I believe it is far better to pursue those that breached in the first place and the circumstances far more rationally." SHe was a survival of the Red Room. Emotions were things which one needed to cut off when they threatened to run away from you. Time spent in shock was time that let your enemy get away.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    Kate nods to that slowly. "Very pragmatic." she responds. She is friends with Nadia and has been since the girl escaped the Red Room and came to America. She is a smidge familiar with that line of thinking.

    Even if she didn't buy it fully.

    "Have the captured mercs given any leads?"

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
And Natasha views Nadia as her protege. But without the rough.. Edges that had defined her. "They're holding out rather.. Well. I've only been maintaining observation on them rather than participating." Something about Red Room methods and Geneva Accords and things that made the other Avengers queasy.

Kate Bishop has posed:
    "Eh maybe you should step in and speed it up." okay maybe Kate doesn't entirely know what she is suggesting. "That or Wanda should just use a truth spell and shake it out of them. I am sure she has one of those somewhere."

    She flops down on a couch in the recreation area. She fishes out her phone "Let me see when Clint is coming back." focusing on that as promised for the moment.
