Helping out with the various scientific works and analysis while keeping an eye on the buildings systems. But today she's up to something a little different. "Hmm." Strolling in that direction brings the easel into view as well and giving her a bit more of an idea of what's going on here. That was cross referenced with basic chemistry. A lot of early paints were dangerous externally too. Cosmetics too. They used to use arsenic as face paint and lead was put into wine to sweeten it.
