Synopsis:	Lucius Fox has ideas for a better armor weave for the Bat Family, but he informs Stephanie Brown that it will require gathering materials... in the Savage Lands.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
After finishing her chemistry project, Stephanie Brown heads down to the Batcave annex underneath the lake house that was Bruce's engagement present. And then makes the underground trip to the Batcave proper. There to meet Lucius Fox who she'd sent a message, and the details of the analysis so far on the armor piercing bullets that had shot up her Batcycle the other night.

Stephanie arrives, wearing jeans and some soft leather boots and a Gotham U sweatshirt. Her blond hair is pulled back in a ponytail. She heads over to the Batcomputer, blowing a bubble with some bubblegum that she's chewing. She settles into the chair and starts going over the materials present in the sample bullets she brought back.

Lucius Fox is standing there with his laptop opened dressed in his light purple sweater vest with his matching colored tie, slacks and a pair of new balances. His hand is moves slowly to sort the data, with a nod at Stephanie. "Hello Miss Brown." His voice is worried, pulling up the images up to the screen showing his findings with a little displeasure sigh leaving his lips slowly, his teeth sinking into his lower lip. "Now this is very tricky, I'm not a fan of these rounds. I have a few concepts, that may work but sadly unless I get live rounds or the weapons being used they may just stay such. I will show you each of the ideas, and from there we will see what can be done with this."

"Live rounds we have. Just not a lot of them. Half dozen he hadn't fired at me yet," Stephanie says after giving Lucius a warm smile. She pulls up the analysis, which includes just under a 50% chance of penetrating the body armor which is standard in most of their costumes. And a higher chance of penetrating the light armor on the Batcycles, if not the Batmobile or other, more heavily armed vehicles. "I also pulled an expended round out of my Batcycle," she tells him.

She digs in the evidence drawer and pulls out the rounds in question, passing them over to him. "Trying to figure out if they are being produced by a company somewhere. Or if it is a black market operation or individual. But right now our only deterrent is going to more heavily armored outfits. Which of course, come with negatives, like lack of mobility.

Lucius Fox has posed:
Lucius Fox shakes his head at Stephanie with a little chuckle. "No was working on something that would be heavier but lighter for the armor." His fingers move to bring up armor slowly, showing weaving of fabric, with meat back and forth lacing over the body. "The issue is the stuff that is used for it will be harder to find, than our normal materials. Rare, it'll be work to harvest enough for the amount of suits that are currently in use, our family has grown much since the last building of the armor and the last steps in R&D. But, I think this would have a higher chance to block the bullets. I have enough material to do a protypes for three folks, if they work we can try and get more of the minerals needed for it."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
"Well, one for Batman definitely. After that," she says, hesitating and shrugging. "I don't know, does it have to go into the entire suit? Or can it be inserted like some of the suits that take armored plates so it could be shared between us?" Stephanie asks.

She looks at the spectroscopic analysis of the bullet composition and hrms quietly. "Ok, this is not something that usually goes into bullets. So if we can hack the various ammunition makers and find out if any of them have made purchases. Not to mention hacking the suppliers," she says.

Stephanie fires off some of the Batcomputer's automated hacking tools. "Might need Oracle's help with it, on what we can't get into," she comments.

Lucius Fox has posed:
Lucius Fox nods slowly his fingers moving over the images of the suit with a frown. "My worry if we do it all over, it would not be enough but we could launch a mission to gather more. It is in a place, I have been told about and I got it from a friend that was exploring a savage lands, as he calls it. We could have a few of you go out there, to get me more of it he said it was found here." Slowly, he pulls up a map of the savage lands, there is a flashing spot in the center of the jungle. "An old abandon mine."

With that he turns to look at Stephanie with a nod of his head. "Indeed, Oracle's help would be grand, it would help this move forward. The more we can find out the better, either way I think this upgrade needs to happen. Would you be willing to gather a team for me, I will provide you with the tools to bring it back and to extract the materials. It is living rock, deep in there that seems to glow and move on it's own desires. But once I weave it falls silent, at least on what I have done so far."

Stephanie Brown draws a deep breath. "I mean part of me has always wanted to go there," she says as the map of the Savage Lands is brought up. "Also part of me remembers the stories about the alien experiments and the mutated dinosaurs," she says, managing a soft laugh. Though what SHIELD and the Avengers and the X-men faced down there before they ended the threat from the old Kree experiments, which included the Brood, is not really a laughing matter.

"Sure I'll begin putting an expedition together," she says. She checks the map. "I don't know if there's much known about that part of the Savage Lands." She types in a few commands and the location of SHIELD's base comes up. "Yeah, it's a distance away," she says.

Lucius Fox nods slowly his hand is moves slowly with a little chuckle. "Always something in our world to learn, something to shock one and to force us into a awaking new ideas. Do be careful, now than that is good and reach out to those you know of course, find out things before you go. I'll start on the suits, one for the Batman, and the others for whomever needs them and I will tailor it to whomever. Now, than this is a worry of mine these bullets, and the who they might really be for."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
"Probably for us. Though GCPD vests don't handle them very well either. Nor their squad cars," she says, from the analysis that was done. "Of the 8 people there at the smuggled goods exchange, only 1 of them had the armor piercing bullets though. Which is fortunate, since I took a round in the cape, and another on my torso from someone else before I got them all," she says, frowning.

"Hopefully we can shut down the maker before they spread. I'll keep working that while I put the expedition together too. Can you put together any special equipment we need for the extraction and storage?"

Lucius Fox leans back on his heels deep in thought as he let's out a second long sigh, and than a third. "Yes that is good, it was not somewhere bad, yes very good." His voice is distracted, than he looks right at Stephanie with a little chuckle ."Yes, I will provided that, also equipment for finding it once your down in the dark, light kills it down there, so you will need tools and it will be odd process. I will explain better, when you are all in one spot. This will be....uncomfortable for all of you. Pick those that deal well with the weird and the bizarre and the eldritch."

Stephanie Brown lets out a groan. "Magic," she mutters, shaking her head. A hand goes to her arm, unconsciously rubbing the spot she was clawed by demons serving Felix Faust. And only an infusion of Jason Todd's life force transferred by Zatanna was able to save her from the spreading demonic infection. Since then, her view of magic isn't much better than Bruce's.

"Ok, I'll put people together," she agrees. "Thanks for looking into this, Mr. Fox. Your work literally keeps us alive out there," the college student says, letting out a smile for him before turning back to initiate more hacks on ammunition makers.
