Cast of Characters: Alexander Aaron, Minoke

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Alexander Aaron is a handsome young man in street clothing. His defining features which might create any measure of attraction are lost however, in the situation he has placed himself in.

He is standing in the middle of the street, on the centerline between the bi-directional traffic. The cars are whizzing by him, making him stagger slightly as he tries to hold his position. He seems overwhelmed or possibly disoriented. He starts to move in a direction and the speed and mass of a car, and ample horn honking stop him, he moves in the other direction and the same thing again. His palms are out from his torso, as if holding the world just barely at bay, his knees are slightly bent, he is trembling slightly.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke got off from her job at the jewelry store, fiddling wtih a platinum chain she was fixing when she heard the traffic commotion. She just stares in shock as some man, good-looking from her database, is just standing in the centerline. She just blinks as she analyzes the situation and comes to three conclusions. (1) He is insane. (2) He is intoxicated. (3) He is from out of town.

She sighs softly. "Hey! You in the middle! Walk down towards the intersection - stay in the centerline, dont' try to enter traffic. New York drivers are not... patient." She gestures for you to go along with her - you were close to an intersection, and she pushes the button for the crosswalk. "When I say to, walk between those white lines towards me. NOT before." She is hoping result 3 is the right one. A drunk or insane man will probably get himself killed.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Alexander Aaron turns toward the sound of her voice, following her instructions. There are a couple of close calls and then he is safe by her side. He leans toward her and explains, almost humiliated, "I cant see." but when he leans toward her something is revealed.

There is something unseen encircling the young man's head. Something malevolent. Something with terrible eyes that fades into view for only a moment, and only because she is close. Its covering the young man's eyes, gripping his neck tightly with its tail, its feet braced on his shoulders. It warns her somehow, menaces at her, and then disappears.

"I need to get somewhere quiet." the young man said to her, his throat slightly hoarse.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke just nods slowly, extending a hand to take yours. She stares at the... creature... on your head, not sure if she accurately perceived it. "You appear to have a small creature phasing in and out of reality riding on your head covering your eyes?" she asks blankly. "I know I sometimes don't perceive things correctly but that is... weird. I don't normally hallucinate..."

She shrugs as she starts to guide you down the street. She has a studio apartment. "I am taking you to the place I live at. But I will not have ay food for you. I don't eat. My name is Minoke. What is yours?"

Alexander Aaron has posed:
He followed, using her hand to guide him, putting his faith in her. "I am Alex." he proclaimed, his voice still choked from the tail of the thing, but not enough. Sure it had him, but it was if it only had the better of him for the moment, and he was being patient until the situation changed, confident now that it would. "I won't...impose on your...hospitality, once I am free."

Minoke has posed:
Minoke finally gets you into her place and closes the door. Her area is very Spartan. There are few decorations - but a decent amount of jewelry and metal sculpture around. Otherwise it is exactly as she found it when she rented it. She has you sit on the sofa. "Could you explain to me what your situation is? Can that... thing... be remoed?" she asks, holding her two fingers close together, an audible spark going bteween them.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The handsome boy named Alex spread his arms out slowly, making sure he had enough room to keep from imposing on the personal space of his host. "Chlookoptiko, I call you to my hand." he incanted.

With that a form of space folding occured in the generous androids living space. The area behind Alexander seemed to collapse into the floor, revealing a view of Olympus for just a moment. A heady scene, heavenly, radiant light and a majestic mountain, with an impossibly beautiful Parthenon of sandy colored stone. In the heart of the building a starlight glinted and to his hand from across the dimensional divide, the sword flew like an arrow. When his grip closed on it, the scene behind him vanished and her apartment returned.

The creature atop him snarled, reveling its demonic impishness to full view. It looked between the now armed man, and his electric guardian, not sure which one to fear more.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke just STARES at what she is seeing - now she knows this is powerful... something. That sword has her gasping - it is... unique. She would love to study it - but when the creature appears now, it's fully apparated. She decides to simply go for it and points at it, sending an electric beam right at its face from said finger.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The creature convulses with the electrical current, the plane from which it originates has no such form of energy. It tremors and convulses in the air between them, stunned in rictus by the vibrating electrons. Alexander steps astride the gynoid, a determined look on his face. His motion is more of an implication, because the sword in this moment is an extension of his will more than it is physical, though its becoming more physical by the moment.

The beasts head separates cleanly from its body, its ability to fly cut suddenly short in concert with its life. Both the head and body thump unceremoniously to the floor.

It has salt for blood at first, and then the entire thing turns into two piles of salt of proportional size.

He lowered the sword to rest by his side, still gripped. "Minoke, you said?" he asked, his voice sounding firmer, with a delicate hush of wind to it, that despite him seeming renewed he was relatively soft spoken by choice.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods. "I did." You can now see that your savior is... strange-looking, with green skin and pink hair, and a third glowing eye on her forehead. "So... what... exactly... was that thing, and how was it phasing in and out of reality, but still afflicting you?" She just seems puzzled by the whole thing, staring at the salt on the floor. "And... what... is that sword made out of? I've never... sensed its like..." She is staring at the blade now.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The young man handed her the sword for the moment, appeasing her obvious curiosity. He leaned down and sifted through the salt, allowing it to flow through his fingers. "Its a lot easier, I think, to get away with killing someone like me if you can make it appear that it was my choice." he explained, "Beyond that, I know not what this is. My hackles tell me its an agent of something bigger, do you know what I mean? A foot soldier of a kind." he glanced to his unusual savoir a moment, appraising her body and face, and what it could mean to what she was. Then he explained, "I have a sense now that this thing, whatever it is, was sent by something with a capacity for planning that this thing lacks."

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods slowly. "I understand..." she murmurs. "You must have a formidiable enemy." She is just stroking along the sword, almost reverently. She then blushes. "S-sorry... I am... highly attuned to metal. Your weapon is... fascinating. I should hand it back before I try to eat it..." she murmurs, returning it to its owner. "So... would you like a drink of water? I told you I don't have any food here - I don't eat - but I can call someone to deliver something via Uber Eats or something."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
"Chicken parm?" he wondered, suddenly seeming for all that had happened that he was really just what he appeared to be, and hungry for something comfortable to that end. He took the sword back from her, and as he gripped it by the ricasso of the blade it seemed to become irrelevant somehow. Not worth looking at. Not even there anymore, was it every there at all? No, probably not. This was the way it traveled across time and space, back to its home.

"On me." he offered softly, showing just enough of his smile to indicate even to an android that his sword was not his best weapon; not even close.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke blinks as suddenly it disappeared. Blinkblinks again. "Oh. You sent it back to... wherever it came from," she mutters softly. She gets a cellphone out and using a stylus, finds a site that can deliver 'chicken parm'. "ETA 10 minutes. Apparently the restaurant is just down the street." She sets the phone down. "Touchscreens don't work for me. What's a girl made of metal to do?"

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Alexander Aaron nodded to confirm what she said, "I think you do what you do just fine, Minoke." he seemed grateful that she procured him food, but he glanced down at the salt all the same. Someone was going to have to pay for that, "I owe you." he said as if it wasn't open to debate, but that he was ready to move on to other topics. "Made of metal, but you still know yourself." he said, because she had signified a gender when it might not have been strictly necessary to do so. "And you have a place of your own." he said with some measured approval. "What else is unexpected about Minoke?" he asked.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods. "That I am not native to Earth," she states as she gets a small vacuum cleaner from a closet. She hesitates as she stares over at you. "Do you need the remains for anything?" she asks softly as she stares down at the pile of salt, not sure what to do with it, but wanting to keep her place tidy. "I have a job, using my talents to earn the money I need to rent this space. I do not need much."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The young man stood up and away from the salt, allowing her to do the needful as he watched. "You need a lot, its just that the things you need are rare." he countered, trying to be thoughtful. "I saw the look of discovery on your face." he explained.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods. "I was designed to be curious. It is my nature." She sighs softly. "Though, things are awkward. One member of the world I call home has done awful terrible things... I know I can never make up for the harm he has done, but I still feel.. guilty about it..." She sighs soflty, then hears he ding-dong as she moves to the door, handing t he delivery person a cash tip, then brings your food to you. "I hope you enjoy... whatever that is..." she states, as she sits on the sofa. She averts her gaze - she dones't really like watching people eat- it's... weird.
