It is around 5pm on a Tuesday evening at Xaviers School for Gifted Youngsters, though most of the youngsters in-question were still off campus for summer vacation. There were still a gaggle of them around, however, and some could be seen milling about the extensive property, while most were indoor kids, ever attached to their devices and screens.
It was a beautiful day out today, with weather in the mid 80s, clear skies, and a classically lovely summer atmosphere. A week ago, there had been a big 4th of July celebration, but now, the place was just comfortably amidst the middle of the summer schedule at the boarding school for elite children.
Parked outside the front doors, in the circle driveway that rests just at the base of the steps up to the two large wooden doors, and the castle-like facade that makes up the decor of Xavier's mansion, a forest green Dodge Charger rests, with the driver's side door ajar. Seated half inside it, and half out, is a Mississippi born Southern Belle.
Dressed in blue jeans shorts, black and green tennis shoes, and a dark green tanktop, the Belle has a camo doo-rag tied back behind her head, covering over the top of her head, that a pair of gold and black aviators rest atop. Her eyes are uncovered, with the shades pushed up, and her stare is down upon her phone. She's half-in and half-out of her car, with one leg still seated upon the edge of the driver's seat, while her left foot is out of the vehicle, resting on the driveway. She's tapping away on the screen of her device with one thumb, while some classic rock music plays from the stereo within her car's interior.
