Synopsis:	Conner visits Superman's polar hideout to try to find out more about the incoming world-eating menace.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner, or Kon-El, is a rare sight in the Arctic fortress of supposed Solitude (not so lonely now the 'family' is expanding). But it is far enough from New York that it takes him a while to fly here, and he is not so invulnerable not to be bothered by the polar cold. Also, it is too alien.

Conner is such an earthling.

But there has been some trouble brewing and he feels he should at least visit. In part because his usual communication systems feel unsafe - besides the Outsider's channels. And in part because well, alien planet-destroyer incoming. That is worrisome even for Kryptonians and half-Kryptonians.

He did call in advance, of course, using the Kryptonian communicator 'aunt Alura' gave them over a year ago, and that he had never used when on Earth.

Clark Kent has posed:
Superman was at the Fortress of Solitude. In uniform, cape billowing, moving from the side hall to the main chamber, Superman moves with a purpose. After receiving a call from Connor, he makes sure to stay at the Fortress instead of heading back to Metropolis or the nearest disaster.

Superman had heard the intel reports from Batman about the incoming disaster from Deep Space and that worried him. Like everything else, they would do their best, but it was another planetary threat. A lot of those these days.

Conner Kent has posed:
Just another planetary threat? Well, it doesn't sounds normal. "Hey, Kal," greets the younger man. "Good to see you, we seem to have drifted apart again now Alura is not around. I have been busy dealing with personal issues, but, uh... I need to know a few things. You have heard about this Galactic thing, right? I heard Tamaran was destroyed."

Clark Kent has posed:
Turning at the sound of Connor arriving, Kal smiles warmly, and greets the young man. "Connor! Good to see you. Welcome back to the Fortress!"

Moving to meet Connor, Kal nods and says, "Yeah. Alura has been...away for some time. We should get together more often though. She'll be back. In the meantime however..."

Superman sighs sadly. "Yes. Tamaran was destroyed. It is tragic. I have heard about this massive threat heading here. What did you need to know?"

Conner Kent has posed:
"Well, everything?" Conner shrugs. "I don't want to depend only on the Outsiders channels. And Robin has been scarce lately. This is something from space, it is more up your alley," he comments. "Well, you and the Green Lanterns. Or the Wakandans I guess. Maybe the Fantastic Four? In any case, it doesn't seem like something just one hero could handle, everyone seems very worried."

Clark Kent has posed:
Nodding solemnly, Superman passes on all the intel he has on the situation from his Justice League, GLC, Avengers, and Fanatastic Four contacts. "It isn't a good situation, but I know we can handle it. Earth's Champions are up to the task."

Superman looks at Conner and says. "Is there anything else you need to talk about it? You seem...burdened with something?"

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner will need a few hours to go over all the data, but this is just what he wanted. Except Clark's question makes him blink. "Me? Er... I have some problems as Conner. My 'normal' life is going to hell due to, well... a foreign government targeting me for writing stuff about them. It is weird. Still... they can't really hurt me. But I was enjoying living among normal humans like a normal person. It is annoying."

Clark Kent has posed:
Superman nods. He waits while Conner reviews the intel, watching him. "Ah. Normal life." Superman actually grins. "I hear you. I have been targetted once or twice as well. It happens." Superman pauses for a second, and then adds, "I just take it as it comes. I have allies who help me. Civilians. Our friends are truly a treasure. Rely on them more, and if you need anyone to lay down some nterferece, Lois and I can help." He grins. "And annoying doesn't begin to describe it...does it?"

Conner Kent has posed:
"Really? I didn't even know you had a normal life," Conner looks a bit surprised. "I mean, I know you and Lois are pretty much living together, but I..." he hand waves.

"Anyway, it is one of those rogue nations led by a crazy dictator. Like Latveria, only probably not as bad. It is called Gamorra, it is an island south of Japan," Clark has probably heard about it. It caused a good deal of trouble and high-tech terrorism activity in the 90s and early 2000s. "They have some advanced tech. Cybernetics and stuff. And really, really don't like people talking about them in the nets."

Clark Kent has posed:
"Of course I have a normal life. Without it, I thnk I would withdraw from the joys of life here on Earth. We should have dinner sometime, away from all of this." Superman says with a warm smile.

As they continue discussing intel, including the Gamorra info, Superman shares what info he has, and absorbs the info from Conner. "I just want to say...well done Conner. I'm porud of the work you are doing. Keep up the good work, and you always have me to rely on when you need me."

Conner Kent has posed:
"Well, all this normal life won't matter if we don't stop the world-destroying," comments Conner bleakly. "We better focus on this one for now, uh? Thanks for the files, looks like I have a lot of reading to do."
