Atrice Duckstein has posed:
It's Christmas! Or well, with the Halloween decor that it is permanent in Ducky's apartment it might look like Christoween? Hallomas?

They'd work on a name.

And the red head that Kaine lives with had gotten up to make breakfast before he'd awakened. Because there was also one last Christmas present to place under the tree before he got up. So with that done she had woken him with an excited smile. Almost a little giddy as she'd not spent Christmas with anyone in a few years. "You want food and then presents?" she asks him.

Kaine Parker has posed:
Decemberween is what Kaine calls it. He looks at the place for a bit. The smell of breakfast in the air. Then he pauses to see the giddy look smeared across her face. "What did you do?" and then he looks at the present. "I'd need to get your gift. What did you want to do first?" he asks her honestly because that happiness seems a bit more prominent on her face. Although, Caffeine would assist Kaine in finding his own giddiness.

Atrice Duckstein has posed:
"You are a tiny bit grumpy without your caffeine, so how about we eat first and then we can do presents?" she asks him. "And I didn't do anything. Just happy to have you here for Christmas." she tells him honestly. "Do I look guilty or like I'm hiding something?" she quirks an elegant brow at him.

"I'll make you a plate. You want coffee?" she asks him as she rises.

Kaine Parker has posed:
"Hard to stay grumpy with you around," he says trying not to sound as grumpy. Then he lightly slips into the kitchen, the footfalls heavier. "You always look cute and guilty," he jokes and looks back at her. "Yes. Coffee and all the things." He looks back at her, "How did you seleep?" Kaine asks to try and wake himself up.

Atrice Duckstein has posed:
"That is because I am a delight." Ducky states as she wanders into the kitchen to make plates for them after coffee is poured. "I'm hoping domestic doesn't bore you too death." she teases him lightly as she looks at him over her shoulder.

"I slept well for once. How about you?" she asks him. "You also did not have to get my any presents." she points out to him after plates are settled.

Kaine Parker has posed:
"You're a delight. That's why I'm here," he says softly and then he waves a hand. "I like domestic and boring. You make all the bad stuff I have to deal with worth it. My life of...darker days. Boring domestic is what I gave it up for," and he gives a smile. "I did though," he says and looks at Atrice curious how she would react to this news. He never mentioned it before.

Atrice Duckstein has posed:
Ducky listens to him and there is a soft smile given to him as he tells her that he doesn't have a problem with domestic. "I'll remember that." she tells him after she sips her coffee. "I'm sure I'll love it." she grins when he says that he did get her something. "Also, if anything is wrong with your presents, we can return them." she points out.
