Cast of Characters: Bette Kane

Bette Kane has posed:
Upon the monitors are several photos from gruesome hits. From acid burns, poisoning, cut throats and a bullet to the head. Each kill different. "Each kill is by the same person. Gender unknown. An assassin, hired by a former weapons dealer to strike back at the people who pointed the finger at him."

"Stop me if you've heard this one before. Terrance Lorne, weapons dealer, trying to impress a big client -- sends his goons out to mow down a town park to show how good his guns are. Survivor rebuilds her life, turns vigilante, tries to get vengeance. In some ways, sort of did.. but gets killed herself in the process. Thinking someone is after him, Lorne hires a hitman to take out his enemies, anyone associated with the park massacre."

Bette Kane has posed:
Bette points to a different monitor, "So here's where things got interesting. The target that went after Lorne is already gone, but the hit man keeps going. Why? well, they have their own interests, or the interests of another group. Imports and Exports of Greek Antiquities. The son here, is heir to such a business. The third victim of the hit man. Hide the real target amongst many." Bette sits at the table and taps her finger tips against it. "So I thought, great, I'm closing in on this guy or girl. But then, all of a sudden, they change MO."

The monitor changes to a few new pictures. One of a high tech lab, another of a dead woman wearing roller skates. Another of some security footage of a gang of people on roller skates fleeing the lab as the alarm goes off. "Seemingly out of no where this little crew of roller skaters hits this random tech company. What they stole, who knows.. but my assassin, he was there - he killed one of them. For the life of me I don't understand the link between my assassin and this tech company and these roller skating thieves. I looked back for any other crimes by this crew and none, zip, zilch.. this seems like it was their first job."
