Cast of Characters: Bobbi Morse, Nadia Pym-van Dyne

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi parks in front of the Avengers Mansion in a black SHIELD SUV. The eagle painted on the car doors and bonnet. Just so people take it seriously when it pulls up at crime scenes and the like. Bobbi would rather not drive around in such a conspicuous car, but she's hardly going to help relocate Nadia on her motorbike.

Dressed in pant suit with her combat armor hidden beneath; dark shades and a look that suggests the two coffees she had this morning were still not enough, she walks up to the mansion and puts on a smile, "Good morning Jarvis. Agent Morse here to collect Nadia."

The mansion opens up to Bobbi and she wanders in to the open space of a lobby and glances around at how quiet it is, "Where is everyone?" It's early, they're probably mostly asleep. Banner is probably up though.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia is in her room, really the only place she can be, since she is still being kept away from all of the myriad secrets that the Avengers Mansion holds. Not laying on her bed this time, she is instead sitting at the room's desk. The notebook has become notebooks as the first one has already been filled with notes and spilled over into a second as she continues to try and solve the shrunken bus problem, if nothing else she is relentless in pursuit of a science goal. Next to her is what looks like an obscure scientific research paper titled 'Space and Mass: Differing Theories of Size' which is presumably what inspired her latest batch of notes and obversations.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi makes her way to the kitchen and pours herself a glass of the freshly brewed coffee. In the distance she can hear murmured noises from the meeting room, "Ah. They're doing things." The toaster pops and she grabs a piece. A quick extra breakfast can't hurt.

She makes her way upstairs and hears the showers in use too. Just an awkward time of day to visit the mansion it seems. She knocks on the guest door where Nadia is staying, "Good morning Nadia. It's me, Bobbi Morse. May I come in?"

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Inside the room the rapid scribbling of notes stops, "If Mr. Jarvis lets you!" Nadia's voice can be heard from the other side, "I still don't get to control that door, something about super secret secrets about Top Secret secret things!"

The notebooks and the research paper are closed and seem to almost wink out of existence as Nadia pockets their now dramatically reduced forms, before getting up and walking towards the door. "Mr. Jarvis, can Dr. Morse come in?" she asks the house AI, she's very polite for a teenager, or maybe she just classifies Jarvis as 'old'.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi chuckles. "Jarvis open the door please." The door politely opens because Jarvis is a very polite AI. Bobbi smiles whimsically to Nadia. Sure there are a few parts of this mansion Bobbi doesn't have clearance for, but not the guest room. "It's moving day, Woo." She smiles, "Where would you like to go? We have a lovely safe house apartment you can use in Manhattan, unless you had somewhere more specific in mind."

You don't have to go home to mother Russia but you can't stay here in the Avengers Mansion, is the unspoken line. Bobbi looks Nadia over and in to the room, "Do you have all your things? I brought a big car in case you had big things to take with you."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia is standing there when the door opens, the room is remarkably tidy insofar as the complete lack of her things. The bed isn't made though, finally providing some evidence that she is in fact a teenager.

Bobbi is greeted by a bright smile, there is no hug attack yet, but not because she doesn't want to. "Good morning Dr. Morse!"

Some thought is given to the question of where to move to as she shifts her feet from one foot to the other, "Would it be okay if I moved into my father's house until he can be found? Maybe I can find some clues there about what happened to him." Hank's whereabouts seem to be another problem that has earned her relentless focus.

She nods her head in the affirmative when Bobbi asks about her things, "Yes, I travel pretty light. My things are very small." she grins a bit.

"Do you think they'll help find him?" she asks after a long pause.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi shrugs her shoulders and nods her head. Figures, everything would be tiny. Nadia seems to take after her father in that respect. Hank was a lot easier to get along with before he figured out how to make everything small. He can literally enter in to a rant about conspiracy theories and how 'the man' is out to get him and his technology, all the while Bobbi is standing there, SHIELD, literally 'the man' he's speaking of waiting for him to help her out.

"Yes, of course." SHIELD? Avengers? Really, both. "If I don't see movement on that search soon I'll take over the operation myself." She motions and continues walking out of the mansion in to the sunny bright blue skies of the morning, then over to the car. It's brand new. There are a few boxes in the back seat. Bobbi straps in and waits for Nadia to join her before pulling out and hitting the roads. "Hank's house it is. Just be mindful he doesn't know you exist and this is his stuff. But he does have a spare room - so stick to the lounge room, kitchen and your room. I know you want to Nancy Drew things, but poking about in his private spaces is rude. Also you don't know him like I do, he can be quite paranoid and even leave traps for someone poking their nose where it doesn't belong."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia follows Bobbi out of the mansion, giving one last look over her shoulder to the place she's spent the last week or so confined and where the people live that she really hopes will help her.

Maybe it's Bobbi's imagination but Nadia's eyes seemed to light up for a moment at the prospect of traps to disarm. "Okay, I will try not to pry too much into his things."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Driving south on the high ways. Bobbi keeps glancing in to her mirrors. Perhaps out of regular paranoia or perhaps because there's a dot in the sky that seems to be following them. She re-angles her side mirror to keep track of it as it veers left and right just on the horizon. "We'll take the scenic route today I think."

Bobbi turns off in to Manhattan which will add quite a bit of time to their trip in to New Jersey. Once amongst the buildings Bobbi's eyebrow raises a little higher as she sees two little drones following along. They cling to the side of buildings whenever the car comes to a rest.

"It seems.. we have some flies in the ointment."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
There are a lot of little things Nadia never internalized being raised in Soviet Assassin Kindergarden, one of them seems to be seatbelts. Climbing into the front passenger seat she makes no move to reach for it like she either doesn't know it's there or hasn't been taught it's necessary.

When Bobbi starts checking the rearview mirror, Nadia squirms in her seat trying to get a view of whatever it is for herself. "What's going on? Is it more Brainiac drones? Or the GRU or FSB or Immigration?" It's like a greatest hits list of agencies that might be after her. "Wait it's flies that are chasing us? With Ointment?"

Bobbi Morse has posed:
"Immigration? would would... nevermind," she grins a bit and at a red light, takes out a sniper scope from the passenger storage compartment. She lowers the driver window and peers at the drone through the lens and sighs, "Them again. I thought I was being paranoid, but these things have a real grudge. I wonder if they've been following Sam and Daisy too."

She takes a tablet out from her thigh pocket and flicks it open, making a note. The car behind her starts to beep as the light as gone green. She ignores it, puts her tablet away and resumes driving.

Back on to the highway, Bobbi notes a third drone has joined. "A few days ago we ran in to some drones that were hacking the stock exchange. It seems they're back.. but they are keeping their distance. I'll lose try and lose them." Her eyes start looking out for other cars of a similar colour and make and when they get to the next underpass she pushes in front of them and forces them to break and change lanes, effectively swapping positions with them as the other drive shouts angrily at Bobbi. When they emerge from the under pass Bobbi takes the next exit. The drones keep following the civilian car and they end up in yet more traffic. "Right.. New Jersey here we come."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia eventually manages to get her window open and is sticking her head out of it trying to see the things that are chasing them. "You know these flies?" the Fly in the Ointment expression seems to be utterly lost on her.

She smiles and waves at the person behind them honking their horn, "Sorry, just a moment please!" Because apparently road rage is also a thing that she does not understand.

"They're multiplying." Nadia says perhaps stating the obvious when the third drone shows up. She makes an 'oh' expression when Bobby explains about the stock exchange and her head is brought back inside of the vehicle when Bobby says she'll try to 'lose them'. That is one English expression she knows quite well.

After getting thrown around a bit Nadia eventually reaches for her seatbelt, that's what they're for right? Car chases and high speed maneuvers.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi glances over to Nadia and double takes, "Put your seat belt on." There's an amused smile on her face - an excellent example demonstrating why one should wear a seat belt. She weaves through the traffic and finds the high way again and turns off to New Jersey. "In the back I have a lot of paperwork for you. Immigration papers, though if you want to claim citizenship using your father, the immigration department will first need Hank to fill out some paperwork too. If we can't find him or he refuses, then we move to a different set of paperwork. It's bureaucracy.. kind of a mess." She turns off the high way in to a suburban road and starts driving past houses with big trees out the front of driveways and manicured lawns. "Also I got you a new laptop and a credit card that has a $200 limit a week. The statements will be audited, things you need only or else a man in a suit will give you an incredibly boring talk about fiscal responsibility."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia's seatbelt clicks into place. She nods several times listening to Bobbi's explanation of the various papers, "I think claiming Citizenship through birthright from my father is probably better. I did some research and it seems like certain agencies would have a lot more ability to try and interfere diplomatically in a regular immigration process. Shouldn't this be handled by a lawyer though?"

She smiles brightly when Bobbi talks about giving her things, "So if I get lonely I should buy a whole lot of icecream and then someone will come visit me?" The way she says it falls somewhere inbetween an academic deduction and a joke. "Also if you have a rifle I might be able to shoot down those drones." she attempts to peer out the window at them again but it is harder with a seatbelt on.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi checks the mirrors again. They have lost the drones - for now. Eventually they arrive at a house with overgrown lawn, mail stuffed in to the letterbox and piled up on the ground below it. "I'd be concerned, but this is how it always looks." She parks in the drive way and gets out. "Yep, a SHIELD lawyer will handle it, you have to fill out the paperwork though. We can't do that bit for you." She opens the back door and takes out a box filled with some foods, a laptop, there's another box with bedding and a pillow. "Grab the other box Nadia," she says with a smile and walks over to the front door. Under the little cactus in a pot she finds the spare key and lets herself in.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Okay!" Nadia pushes open her door and makes her way out of the car before grabbing the indicated second box of stuff that she'll be using to settle in. She lifts the box without any trouble at all, clearly strong for a teen girl, but hardly surprising for a Red Room trainee. She follows Bobby towards the house, "Yeah, this is about how it looked when I was waiting outside before I went looking for the Avengers. It always looks like this? Does he not spend much time here?" her mind hard at work trying to process these new details about her father and figure out things about the man as she follows Bobbi into the house.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi shakes her head and walks in to the kitchen area. She puts the box she's carrying down on the table, then gathers up the dirty dishes left here from when he was last here and starts the hot water in the kitchen sink to clean them up. "Oh, he comes and goes. Spends a lot of time at his lab. Often away doing experiments of one kind or another. Practical life skills are not what I would call his forte."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia carries in her box of things, following Bobbi through the house, before finally setting it down next to the first box that Bobbi brought in. As she walks through the hallway and various rooms her eyes are darting literally everywhere. Bobbi may have said not to pry, but faced with actually being in the house of the father she has dreamed of for so many years Nadia has just about become curiousity incarnate as her mind feasts upon every new detail around her and what clues they might offer about the man she idolizes. "I see, I'm surprised he didn't just build a robot housekeeper or something like that after all of his work with robotics and artificial intelligences." It's possible she's familiar with his work largely through academic papers rather than the actual results of said work.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi lets out a small chuckle at the thought of Hank's attempts at robots and AI. She places a letter on the kitchen counter with the SHIELD logo on it and the writing "To Hank Pym." An letter of explanation, so he knows who to come shout at when he finds out Bobbi let his surprise daughter stay in his house. Her hands get soapy and wet as she cleans up the mess and says, "Have you found the spare bedroom? There's a change of sheets in one of those two boxes." She dries off the dishes and her hands, then wanders in to the living room, opening up the curtains to let in some light. Power is on, good.. tv, good. She checks the landline - operative, not that that's too important, she included a cell phone in the box of goodies for Nadia with her phone number already in the contacts. "Nadia?," Bobbi asks and finds her, "Are you going to be okay here by yourself?"

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Yes, I think I will be fine." Nadia says absently, almost mechanically, like she's not really focused on the question. Where before she was shooting about in nearly every direction at once, she is now standing still next to the kitchen table staring at something. One can almost see the gears turning in her head as she tries to puzzle out what exactly she is looking on.

On the table is a small notepad, not too remarkable really, it's the sort that one might jot down a phone message on. What's on the pad now is no phone message though, it's a series of diagrams and complex equations like someone (named Hank) had a sudden moment of inspiration and needed to get an idea down on paper before it was lost.

Eventually Nadia looks up and over in towards Bobbi eyes a bit wide, "Dr. Morse? I think I might know why I haven't been able to find my father, why nobody has been able to. These equations, he was extrapolating principles of the Spacewall at a macroversal level... I don't think he's on Earth, at least not /this/ Earth."
