Synopsis: Hank brings Bobbi a grilled cheese sandwich and news about Nadia.
Cast of Characters: Bobbi Morse, Hank Pym

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi has been sitting up in bed, fluids in to her arm even though she's fine. The machines connected to her and reading out data constantly say she's fine. She's not fine, but resting like this she's fine. She's been going through reports, catching up on activity since she was taken by HYDRA.

She is, to be frank, going a little stir crazy. Visits from colleagues have helped a lot, but she'd rather be training and sleeping in her own bed. But, what can you do when you conduct frankenbiochemistry on yourself in the field. You have to face the consequences of those actions. So it is that any and all visitors are extremely welcome.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym enters the room that says Morse B. on the door and closes it behind him a little furtively, to judge by the way he peeks through the crack before shutting it completely. He heaves a sigh of relief and removes the lab coat he wears, shrinking it to store in his pocket. The n he seems to remember his purpose and turns and smiles. "Bobbi! Nurse Ratchett at the desk said doctors only. I told her I was doctor three times over, seven or eight if you count Masters for half credit. Then I said, "Screw it, I'm going to see Bobbi." He reaches into his pocket and resizes a thermos and brown paper bag he sets down on the table by the bed. Then he folds his arms across his abdomen and waits.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi peers at the brown paper bag and asks, "Alcohol or coffee? I can't have either at the moment, not if I want to get good test results to satisfy Simmons." She smiles, "But I do appreciate the gesture." She lifts an eyebrow and motions to the chair, "Pull up a pew. Thanks for visiting."

She sets her tablet aside and adjusts her posture in the bed. "So you heard through the grapevine that I was back hm? One of these days this job is going to kill me. Thought it'd be this mission to be honest. I was okay with that outcome if needs be, but somehow I survived yet again."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym moves the thermos nearer him with a frown. Then he carefully tears open the bag to make it a sort of place mat. "I made you a grilled cheese sandwich. Grill cheese is the most popular sandwich in North America. Also Nadia's favorite." Then he uncaps the thermos and pours some coffee for himself. "Your baseline readings should be taken when you've had coffee. I thought this innocuous enough. As for alcohol, I'm on the wagon now and taking my meds and being healthy. If I can't get liquored up, damned if I'm helping anyone else too." He looks a little stressed when he mentions Nadia. It throws attention to the dark circles under his eyes and the couple of days he skipped shaving.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi smiles warmly and accepts the grilled cheese sandwich. She begins to eat it. Sensing something might be off with his parenting duties she enquires, "How is Nadia doing then? joined any new super hero teams lately? That girl is encourage-able. She's going to do big things I can tell." There's a beep on her tablet and she reaches over to grab it and tap on it a few times, then place it back where it was resting. The cheese sandwich is half gone before you know it. They don't get hospital food here, but it's also not the full cafeteria options or eating out or cooking for yourself.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym looks reflective. "Nadia... Bobbi, you've known me through the good times and the bad. You know there was a bad time when I was wondering, 'Why am I still here?' there was a point where I was thinking about changing that... not being here anymore. I came very close... I never told anyone this except Espirito who stopped me and counseled me. I know why I'm here now. Nadia. Something I never said before, she's smarter than me. She's a better 'hero' than I was. But she's kind 'a a gullible little kid in so many ways. I'm here for her. She's going to change the world. Not just use my Pym particles to bust the Porcupine. I have to protect her and prepare her for the world. 'Dad' is the best codename I ever had. I'm trying to be the man she deserves."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi gets to work on the second half of the sandwich and says, "Thanks for the sandwich by the way. You're the first to sneak me in proper food." She winks and smiles. She's heard him talk about Nadia this way before and nods her head, "Yes. You're doing a good job so far. She actually enjoys hanging out with you and doing science. But why the strained voice? what mischief has she found herself in this time?"

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym frowns. "Bobbi, it's pretty obvious you are reading the updates on her now. I'm sure they are marked urgent. I'm a lousy actor. You knew there was trouble from the strain in my voice. Thank you for the kind words by the way. What assurances would you like me to give you? Yellowjacket is ancient history. Ant-Man and Giant-Man are also other people now. I was looking to other means than brute force from my West Coast days... or at least ways to apply force better. I'm with the team on this. I'm not going rogue. I'm not pushing some weird experiment to destruction for a perceived edge. I'm approaching this rationally. Some people should really be scared."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi frowns a moment and nods her head as she flicks through the details about Nadia's situation. She finishes off the sandwich, cleans her fingers, then picks up the tablet proper. She tilts her head thoughtfully and then looks back to Hank. "You have no idea what you'd be walking in to. Their agents are exceptional. I've spent my adult life studying and applying martial arts. They start them as kids. A sixteen year old from there could probably stay toe to toe with me.. well, used to anyway. I think I might have them licked now. I'm not saying this to warn you away, this sounds a lot like business as usual. I'm just making sure you're taking some heavy hitters with you on this one. These people have been exceptionally good at staying off the radar for decades upon decade. SHIELD barely knows anything about them."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym leans forward and relaxes a little. "I didn't want to tell you until I knew you were medically stable. I've seen their training up close with Nadia. She's a D student in assassination. Without Pym particles I am sure they could knock me about despite my training. But... I don't intend to be put in a situation where I will be knocked around. Intelligence gathering is my aim. And I'm not going this alone. I'm with the team, probably a few Titans too. Possibly an Amazon. Besides... they'll be dealing with my daughter and Janet, who hasn't had a taste of the grape in a few days. I don't do senseless violence. It's very sensible when I do it."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi nods her head slowly and says, "Good. That's what I like to hear. Don't be the one doing foolish stuff, let the super powered types in the Titans do that." She puts the tablet down and smiles, "I'm going to have to kick you out, I have a sudden need for a nap. Thank you again for coming and thanks for the sandwich. I wish you the best of luck. I can't help right now, I'd be a menace to myself and everyone around me. I wish I could come.. but I simply cannot."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym gets up to give Bobbi a hug. "You need to rest. No worries. And I'm sure you will help whatever way you can Barbara. One thing..." then he gives her a rare and impromptu if awkward peck on the cheek. "Nadia is making a damned hippy out of me with all these PDAs." He produces his lab coat and shrugs back into it. "Imma walk right by that nurse and then laugh. See you soon. And listen to your doctor."
