Visiting Hours
Date of Scene: 30 September 2020
Location: Van Dyne Hospital Suite
Synopsis: Siobhan visits Nadia to inform her of the attacks against the remaining Titans.
Cast of Characters: Nadia Pym-van Dyne, Siobhan Smythe

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
One of the perks to having Janet van Dyne looking after you, just don't use the dreaded 'M' word if you value your life, is recuperating in one of the luxury rooms of Janet Van Dyne's private hospital suite. The Titan's are of course notified of Nadia's whereabouts so nobody worries, as well as the presence of the Avengers rotating through keeping watch.

Visiting hours are still a thing but when it comes to the suite of rooms belong to a major donor there is a bit of flexibility and seemingly a lot of extra staff on hand to handle whatever might be needed.

When Siobhan arrives is relaxing on her bed. There is an IV in her arm likely supplying just a few extra nutrients after the completion of her amphetamine detox. In her hands is a what looks like a custom bound research paper, rather than a mass circulation binding. The letters A.I.M. are visible on the cover as well as the title, 'Theories of Quantum Wormhole Generation'.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A smile is given to Nadia when she arrives and she raises a hand, "Nadia." She grins. Siobhan had been dealing with a lot of stuff but didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to come see her. It was weird. Cause frankly she wanted nothing more than to be alone right now but then she wanted to see Nadia and they were going after teh Fearsome Five later and she was...just not feeling herself. Either way, she put on a good face to see her friend.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia puts down the scientific treatise she has been reading and sits upright when the door opens. "Siobhan!" She is clearly excited to have a visitor, "They've been holding me prisoner here rest rest rest, it's all they say. I'm obviously fine! Did you bring me food?!" The eternal ray of sunshine has returned from Russia it would seem and is none too thrilled with her hospital confinement.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A chuckle and then she states, "No, I don't believe I have any food." She states simply enough, taking a seat near Nadia and shrugging, "Sorry, I wasn't prepared for ya bein' hungry." She smiles and then shrugs, "Sorry, but we are going to fight hte fearsome Five soon."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"No problem!" Nadia beams at Siobhan. "Assistant Lady!" she shouts at one of the doors. A likely long suffering brunette pokes her head into the room through the door adjoining to Janet's room, "Yes, Ms. Nadia?"

"Two scones, the orange crunch kind with the frosting! And two coffees please," she looks at Siobhan, "You drink coffee right?"

Nadia is mid-food order when something Siobhan says registers in her head, "Wait what? Who? Fight? What did I miss?! Janet said no hero-ing until I am done resting ...whenever that is!"

When Nadia's attention is lost, the assistant from Janet's suite simply slips out to arrange the scones and some coffee.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A laugh and she nods her head, "Thanks." She then turns her gaze over to the lady who pokes in and pokes out befre she looks to Nadia again, "We were attacked by a group and we're going to go stop them." She nods her head, "It's kinda simple. I am...just dealing with some stuff."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Wait WHAT?! ATTACKED?!?!" Nadia is on her feet in the blink of an eye, "Is everyone okay?!" There is a sudden pause as she realizes the volume of her voice, giving a furtive glance over at the door to Janet's suite. Like hell she can rest after hearing that, though.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A nod and she sighs, "Yeah, I suppose dat's more important than otter problems but everyone is fine. Sorta. Damian got hurt but he'll live." She nods her head again, "We plan to go give dem a bit of payback in a bit. Wanted to come see ya in advance and maybe..." She shrugs, "I mean, technically you shouldn't be comin' along but it'd be wrong of me to leave ya out."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia looks pointedly at Siobhan, "The only person who could stop me won't even known I am gone." She says as she unceremoniously yanks the IV needle out of her arm. Stepping over to her bag, she digs through it until she comes back with a small disc the size and thickness of a doughnut, setting it in the middle of the bed.

"So what are the other problems?" She asks as she continues setting up perhaps the most high tech instance of a teenager sneaking out on record.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Blinking at the work that Nadia is doing, she peers at it before she looks at Nadia directly before she frowns and looks to the side, "Well..." She clears her throat and looks down, "I mean, it seems kinda small given what has happened but...I kinda ate a necromancer's soul and I'm taking it a bit better than I thought." She clears her throat, "After I got past the initial shock anyway..."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
A tap to the top of the donut and it starts emitting diffuse light in all directions. Pulling on one of her suit's gauntlets, Nadia uses a keypad to begin issuing commands to the device and suddenly the diffuse light seems to resolve into a hyper-realistic hologram of a sleeping Nadia, there's even drool and some sleep muttering in Russian. This girl apparently doesn't go in for half measures when she sneaks out.

One might wonder how much she is actually listening during all of this intricate setup until she twirls around with the speed and grace only a ballerina assassin can muster and blinks up Siobhan, "You /ate/ a soul?" she thinks about this for a moment before hugging her completely on instinct, "Are you okay?" Asks the girl who should really be dealing with her own mental issues, but helping with other people's is way easier.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A look over at her and she watches as the hologram appears before looking over at the door and then at Nadia, "Umm." She then shakes her head and looks down before letting out a breath, "I don't know. Yes, I ate a soul but I'm really unsure of how...I am." She shakes her head.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia gives Siobhan a warm squeeze, "We can talk about it on the way if you want?" she offers before grabbing her bag of gear from the chair it was casually tossed into and in the blink of an eye she is gone, but not gone, just very small and flying about on bio-synthetic wings.

Nadia lands on Siobhan's shoulder, "Just leave the way you came in," she instructs, "nobody will know."
